Bound by the CEO’s Baby By Sun Scar Chapter 79
Chapter 79
Ana didn’t even see what was waiting for her right past their office door because of how worried she was.
“Did you lovebirds have a fight?” Carmen cooed slimily as Ana walked past her.
She turned abruptly. “Mind your own fucking business.”
“Come on. It’s not my fault that he came to me to satisfy his needs.“”
“You have no clue what you are talking about,” Ana seethed. It took everything in her not to beat the crap out of Carmen, but she knew she would probably lose her job if she did.
“I know that your Damien has a birthmark right on his hip and kissing him there makes him horny as hell. I know exactly how his cock looks and that he has virtually no recovery time. I know what he tastes like and sounds like when he’s shouting my
name.”
Ana chuckled without humor. “From what I understand you know a lot of that kind of information about a lot of guys…”
Carmen’s face dropped. “The fact remains that you obviously can’t satisfy him.”
Ana knew she didn’t owe an explanation about what Damien and she were, but she needed to wipe that smug look off Carmen’s face. She thought Damien had cheated on her and she loved the idea.
“Whoever or whatever Damien decided to do before we got together isn’t an issue for me. But I wouldn’t go around bragging about it. But it must hurt that you weren’t memorable enough for him to even give you a second thought.”
Carmen frowned at her. “Don’t lie just to make yourself feel better, Anastasia. It’s pathetic. I’m not stupid. How old is your kid? Three? Four? He has been straying the entire time or just in the beginning while you were pregnant and indisposed?”
“You’re calling ME pathetic? Rich coming from you. It doesn’t really matter. Whatever he did with you back then is his business.. We weren’t together back then.”
“So you were a slut back then? You got yourself knocked up by some guy and roped him into a relationship? Good job,
Anastasia.”
“You are not in a position to judge me for that,” Ana laughed. She wanted to say that she knew about all the men she had taken pictures of, but she couldn’t, not right then. She didn’t know what Carmen wanted to do with those pictures or if she knew that Liam told her about it. She also didn’t know if Carmen had a picture of Damien somewhere there. The thought made her sick, but she had to keep it to herself.
“You’re a fucking bitch,” Carmen sneered.
Ana ignored her and sat down inside her office. She had taken Carmen down a notch and wasn’t about to engage further in this immature nonsense. Liam came back from lunch fifteen minutes later. He noticed the tension between Carmen and Ana but didn’t say anything. He simply raised a brow in question.
Ana waved him off and they spent the rest of the afternoon in near silence, only talking when absolutely necessary.
Damien was waiting for her after work. “Hi,” he greeted cautiously.
“Hi.” Ana wasn’t ready to say anything else right then, plus they had to pick up Alan from the post–school daycare, so she didn’t say much.
The ride home was painful. She put the radio on the kids‘ music channel for Alan, but it didn’t help much. Ana could see Damien glancing at her out of the corner of his eye every couple of minutes.
“Stop. We will talk right after he goes to bed,” she said so quietly that only Damien could hear her.
“Just tell me what we are okay,” he pleaded just as quietly.
“Damien, the last thing you want to do while I am still upset is to ask me to answer a question like that.”
Ana had calmed down considerably over the past few hours, but it still hurt to think that he sought out sex with a random

woman shortly after sleeping with her. Regardless of what Carmen may or may not have done to increase his state of Intoxication, she had a feeling that he intended to sleep with her regardless.
Ana tried to shake the thoughts from her head because she knew that he wasn’t that sort of person. But it was difficult. She knew she would get over it, she didn’t have a choice. She loved him too much. And what was what she would focus on.
“Alan, you have to take a bath tonight and pack all your stuff for tomorrow,” Ana said, sitting down on the sofa after dinner.
“Where am I going?”
“Grandma Dianne and Grandpa Carl want to take you to the national park.”
“Are there monkeys?”
Ana smiled. Of course, he would remember the monkeys. “Yes, there are monkeys and loads of other animals.”
Alan’s eyes widened with excitement and he squealed in pleasure. “Are you coming too?” he asked, bouncing up and down.
“No, sweetie,” Ana said, pulling him into her lap. “Daddy and I are going to stay home. This is a special trip just for you.”
Alan furrowed his brow in confusion. Damien chuckled and Ana looked up at him.
“Sorry,” he mouthed.
“What are you gonna do?” Alan finally asked.
That was an excellent question from their son. What were they going to do? They knew what the plan was previously. Damien and she had been looking forward to it since they knew what was going to happen, but Ana didn’t know anymore. Carmen’s words of how familiar she was with Damien stabbed at her heart continuously.
“Just going to be boring grown–ups and miss you,” Ana said quietly.
Alan wrinkled up his nose, but it turned into a surprised squeal as Damien swooped him up from behind.
“Let’s go, buddy. Time to clean your belly button out!”
“Izz not dirty!” Ana heard Alan giggle before the water for the tub turned on.
She remained on the sofa, alone with her thoughts.
