Bound by the CEO’s Baby By Sun Scar Chapter 55
Chapter 55
“Morning,” he responded.
“Did he wake you up?”
“Not really…” he didn’t know how to put it.
“Let me guess. He stared at you until you felt like someone was watching you?”
Damien grinned. “Bingo. Does he do that often?”
“Too often,” she complained before turning back to making breakfast.
“How does he know what channel to watch?”
“You underestimate the technical intelligence of their generation. He watched us use the television and learned himself. He hits the button in the morning until he finds something he likes.” She paused. “Do you think he watches too much?”
Damien could hear the irritation in her voice.
“No,” he backtracked. “I was amazed that he knew how to navigate a smart television. I have no filter, remember?” he said, trying to remedy the damage he had done.
Ana hummed without looking at him. She was quiet for a few moments and Damien could feel the tension between them. He didn’t want to go back to those dark days. His confessions were meant to liberate them, not push them further into the corner.
Damien approached her carefully and stopped inches away from her back. He placed his hands on her shoulder and she tensed for a moment. Just as quickly as she had frozen, she relaxed into his touch.
She craned her neck and looked into his eyes with a shy smile. Damien brushed a piece of hair that stuck to her face before brushing the pad of his thumb over her plump bottom lip.
“Are we okay?” he asked.
“Yes,” she whispered. “But I think we still need to talk about some things.”
His hands slipped to the top of her arm as he continued rubbing. He knew they needed to finish talking, but he didn’t want to do it early in the morning. He was afraid of what she would say.
He feared that she regretted the night before, that she had never loved him… at least that is what he thought she said as he fell
asleep.
“I know we do, but can we do it on a full stomach? We will both be cranky without some food in our stomachs.”
She threw her head back in laughter, her head resting on his chest for the fraction of a second before she went back. She meant to push him out of the way, but her ass bumped into his length, which was still perked up in the morning. Damien inhaled sharply.
“Baby, you can’t do that.”
“I’m sorry,” she giggled and bit her lip, trying to look innocent.
“Sure, you are,” he retorted with a light tap on her shoulder.
She pulled some bacon strips off the skillet and set them on a plate. Damien stole one and hissed. “Damn, that’s hot.”
Ana raised her brow. “For a genius, you sure act like you are your son’s age.”
He hummed and bit into the bacon strip. He blew out some air, hoping he wouldn’t burn his tongue.
“I’m going to cut these up and put them in eggs. Do you want that?”
As Damien got around to making coffee, he allowed his eyes to roam down the length of her body. Anastasia was beautiful in the morning. Her hair was in a braid and she was wearing loose clothes.
“How long will you keep staring at me?”
“Huh?”
“I can feel you staring at me. Stop it!” She turned around. It was then Damien noticed that she wasn’t wearing a bra. For a man his” age… he really looked bewitched.

“Damien, could you grab some plates?” she asked sweetly. When he didn’t respond, she called him again.
“I’m sorry, what?” He shook his head and grinned.
“You’re such a teenager. Stop staring at my tits.”
“I wasn’t ” he began to protest but when he saw her arched brow, he looked away sheepishly. He opened a couple of cabinets until he found the plates. He pulled out some plates and set them on the table. He watched with rapt fascination as Anastasia filled the dishes with food.
“When did Alan come back?” Damien asked as Ana put the skillet in the sink and ran the water.
“I didn’t notice until you fell asleep last night. I saw him in bed. My parents must have sneaked in through the bag.” She shook her head shyly. “They left early this morning, too. Something about finally being able to date,” she said.
“They must feel weird with me around all the time.” He felt slightly guilty for keeping them out of their own house.
Ana returned to her and pulled out a chair. She pushed down on his shoulder so that he would sit. She stood in front of him, right between his legs and she brought her hand to the side of her face. Damien winced as she tenderly stroked the spot where Marcus had punched Damien.
“It’s going to leave a nasty bruise,” she sighed.
“I figured. My jaw is a little sore.”
Ana groaned. “I should have iced it last night,” she said. She bent forward and allowed her lips to caress the skin under his eye. Damien’s eyes fluttered closed at her proximity. When she pulled away, Damien opened his eyes slowly.
“It’s fine. I have had worse when I was younger. Anyway, I am glad it happened.” Anastasia blushed and smiled. Damien quickly changed the topic. “Thank you for letting me sleep over. And sorry again… I should apologize to your parents.”
“It’s no problem. I would have sent you to the guest bedroom, but… you just looked so tired that I didn’t want to wake you.” She pushed the plate with the most food in front of him and handed him a fork. “Alan! Breakfast is ready!” she called.
She went to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of tomato sauce. No sooner had Ana returned than Alan crawled next to Damien’s seat. Ana handed the bottle to Damien and urged him to take action. She took the seat beside him.
Alan looked at him expectantly and Damien felt like an idiot. “Do you want it on top or on the side?” he questioned.
“Top!” Alan nodded enthusiastically. Damien drizzled the sauce before taking some himself. Still, he looked defeated.
Ana set her hand on his knee, causing Damien to suck in a surprised breath. “Don’t worry. It takes some… but you will get it soon,” she assured quietly.
