Chapter 1142 Bart and Haiden Seven (1)
The next day, Valery went to Haiden's office for her first day of work.
She was dressed in a black professional suit. Her hair was tied up and she had light makeup on her face. The color of her lipstick was very light. It seemed that she had not applied it, but she looked very professional.
Haiden took out the contract and showed it to her. "The trial period will be waived for you. Even if you join today, Gerald will hand over his position to you later. He will tell you what you should do. The salary is in the contract. If you have any questions, you can ask after reading the contract."
Valery took the contract, sat on the sofa, and looked at it carefully.
Haiden picked up the tea on the table, took a sip, then looked at her and said, "I thought you would not agree."
Valery took out a pen and signed the contract. Then, she looked up at Haiden and said, "Mr. Cox thinks highly of me." When she got up, she looked straight into Haiden's eyes. "Aren't you worried about employing me? Aren't you afraid that I will cooperate with others and destroy your Alberton family's business?"
Haiden took the contract that she had signed and turned to the last page. He opened it and showed it to her, "With my understanding of you, at least you will be absolutely loyal to me during your period of work."
On the last page, the contract deadline was three years.
Valery agreed to this comment.
Gerald came in quickly and took her down. He first took her to deal with the employment procedures and then handed over the daily work of the assistant to her.
During the meeting in the afternoon, Valery took over Gerald's position and sat next to Haiden, in charge of sorting out the documents and PowerPoint that he needed during the meeting.
Deon first gave Haiden three assistants. Later, Haiden felt that he didn't need too many assistants and transferred the other two to do civilian jobs.
Gerald stayed for a long time. Compared to other male assistants, he was more efficient. Haiden was probably used to him. In the afternoon, he asked him to pour tea several times in the office. He looked up and saw Valery.
"Where is Gerald?" Haiden asked.
"He's outside. He's making the form." Valery poured the tea for him before answering.
"What form?" Haiden opened his email and did not see what task he had assigned to him.
Valery replied with a straight face, "Regarding your preferences, as well as the forbidden zone, to prevent me from accidentally making you angry in the future." Haiden really didn't know what other forbidden zone he had. He thought about it and didn't take it to heart. "Alright, you can get off work when the time comes." Valery left the room.
Haiden was busy until six o'clock in the evening, and the others got off work at five-thirty on time. The women who arrived early had already sent a message in the group chat to report that they were safe. Valery was still sitting in the office outside, looking at the form that Gerald had written while confirming the female employees who had arrived home.
Haiden did not have any reservations about eating. Gerald had followed him for so long and had not figured out what dishes he liked to eat the most. He only knew that he ate a little bit of everything and was not picky about food.
In the morning, Haiden would get up at six o'clock. For 365 days a year, other than being late for half an hour when he was sick, he would arrive at the company early.
Moreover, he would always be the last to go at night.
The schedule Gerald handed to Valery was very full. It was cut into four or five grades in a day. Haiden had to go to four or five places in a day. When he came back, he had to handle the company's affairs. And there was still a schedule recently, which was for blind dates.
Gerald reminded her, "Our boss doesn't know yet. You just need to remind him of his schedule for the next day the night before."
Valery was confused. "Why did he go on a blind date?"
"He doesn't have a girlfriend." "If he has a girlfriend, he would not go on blind dates," Gerald replied in a daze.
"He is excellent. Why doesn't he have a girlfriend?" Valery looked at the densely packed schedule. For the first time, he felt that Haiden was indeed outstanding in terms of business.
"That's because no outstanding woman is worthy of our boss." "I know our boss is very handsome. Don't fall in love with him so easily," Gerald said to Valery, pleased. Valery was speechless.
"There are too many people who have a crush on the boss, but he doesn't do office romance, so I'll give you a reminder." He said secretly. "He was hurt before, and he hasn't had a girlfriend for several years."
"Hurt?"
"This is a secret. I can't say it. You just need to know in your heart."
Valery took out her notebook. She liked to memorize the work content of the next day one day in advance. In the past few years, she had always been an assistant. Although she was called an assistant, she was actually just like an errand boy. Andrew was annoyed to let men follow him and called her to be an assistant.
She thought that he was finally interested in getting into the company. Unexpectedly, he had been wandering around outside for a few years and refused to get into the company.
Valery had imagined her future. Andrew was busy in the office, and she helped him sort out the documents. The two of them got off work together and walked home together. When they got home, she cooked and he watched TV on the sofa. The lively sounds and the fragrant food formed a happy picture.
Imagination was just imagination.
She wrote down the first line of words under her pen, "Love problems. Being hurt by a woman."
