“This whole is highly protected by the black magic. It’s really difficult to break this spell.” Queen Elizabeth told us while panting heavily. She and her team was trying to break the spell with all their strength for more than half an hour, and now, every one of them is completely exhausted. 

“I can’t believe that Marcus is still alive and he is here.” Adam muttered under his breath. “Keep trying on… I am going to see William. They haven’t contacted us yet.” I said to Queen Elizabeth, and she nodded to me in agreement. 

I looked at Emily who was also exhausted and I really felt bad to ask her help. “Hey… you don’t 

worry.. 

…. Just give me two more minutes… it’s enough for me to revive my strength,” she hit my arm. playfully while breathing heavily. 

Emily had a cheerful personality and that was her strong point too. I passed a tight smile to her and looked at Adam who still had a cold face. “Don’t let him go away this time, Adam.” I said to him in a 

stern tone. 

“I only need to enter this place, and I promise you that he will regret taking birth let alone be a vampire.” He replied to me in a stern tone. I smiled helplessly, but I couldn’t blame him for holding a grudge against Marcus. 

My sister and his mate was in this state because of him. I just nodded once and then looked at Emily. “Okay… I am ready.” She said to me while patting her back. “Are you sure?” I asked her with concern. The other witches with Queen Elizabeth were still trying to gather their energy. 

“Yeah… I am really fine.” She assured me with her signature smile. I nodded and looked at the others. “We can use our ability to strengthen them, you know.” Luna gave me a suggestion and I raised my brows while thinking about her solution. 

“What happened?” Emily asked me and I just shook my head. “Uhhh… before going there.. I want to check something.” I answered her and then stepped towards the middle of the crowd. Everyone looked at me questioningly including Adam. 

“Everyone… form a circle around me.” I instructed everyone and took a deep breath. “Let’s do this, Luna.” I said to Luna and she shook her snort. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, connecting my mind and my heart with the nature around me. 

I suppressed all the sounds around me, and concentrated on the core sound of nature. That was divine. Within a few seconds, my whole existence was on peace. I slowly raised my hands and concentrated on the heartbeats near me. 

The strongest one that I got immediately belonged to Adam. I could say that easily. After that, I heard almost seven heartbeats around me. Their hearts were still trying to beat calmly so that they could fulfill the need of their bodies. 

I took a deep breath once again and started channelling that divine energy to their hearts. I didn’t

think that Adam needed that. Still, I channelled towards him. In less than a minute, their hearts started beating normally, and I felt them energetic.

I slowly opened my eyes and flinched in confusion when I found all of them staring at me in awe. Their 

eyes were almost throwing stars out of them. “What’s wrong?” I asked them in a cautious 

tone. 

“You are awesome.” Emily chirped and held my arm. I breathed out in relief and looked at her with a small smile. “Let’s go… we have plenty of work to finish before the day ends,” I said to her in a calm tone. 

“Be careful, Crystal. If Marcus is here, then someone more powerful than Marcus should be there and he would be well protected. I will try to reach there as soon as possible, but if I can’t you must not do anything recklessly…. wait for me…. 

wait for me….. don’t try to use your powers frequently… Your internal injuries are still not healed,” Queen Elizabeth instructed me in a motherly tone. 

“Okay, Mom.” I replied to her in a cheerful tone while shrinking my nose teasingly. She glared at me first but smile in the end. “Be careful, you two, okay.” She eyes both me and Emily. We both looked at each and suddenly giggled. “Okay…. let’s go.” Isaid to Emily in a hurried tone when I saw Queen Elizabeth losing her patience. 

Both I and Emily walked a little further from them as they once again made a formation and started enchanted something. Emily opened a portal and we both walked inside. I felt a light pressure on my b*dy once again, but this was nothing in front of what I felt for the first time. 

I stepped out of the portal and looked around. The werewolves standing at the back of the group immediately looked at us, and their eyes widened in surprise. “What happened? Why did you stop here?” I asked them in a confused tone. 

They didn’t answer me, but they made a way for me to go in front. “Why are you here? Who asked you to leave the pack?” William immediately strode towards me in hurried steps while looking at me worriedly. 

“Relax, brother… I am fine.” I comforted him while putting my hand on his arm. “Why did you stop here?” I asked him before he could ask me anything. He sighed aloud and looked in the other direction dejectedly. 

I narrowed my eyes and followed his gaze. There was a single storey building a few meters away from us. “It is heavily protected. Three of our warriors turned into ashes immediately as soon as they went near to that line.” William answered me while pointing towards a row of bushes planted between that building and us. 

I looked at Emily and she immediately nodded to me. She came forward and took a deep breath. “You don’t worry… if you drain your energy much, I will supply it to you,” I said to her in whispers and then stepped backwards. William and others followed my lead and stepped back. 

“Contact Shadow and ask him to bring Valencia here. If Emily fails to break this spell, Valencia has to do this for us.” I instructed Luna through our link while looking at Emily. She started enchanting something, and sparks started flying around that building.

“Everyone step back.” I yelled when the sparks intensified. I felt William’s hands on my shoulders. Nelson and Vincent were now standing beside me on either side. “Where is Thomas?” I asked Nelson in a hushed tone. 

“He is still clearing the area outside this area with your mate,” Nelson answered me with an amusing smile on his l*ps, making me frown in confusion. 

“I have heard about the old souls and their powers, but didn’t expect it could be this powerful,” Nelson said further with the same smirk on his l*ps, praising my mate. I felt a sense of pride, making me smirk arrogantly. 

I heard a faint whimper coming from Emily. I didn’t look at her immediately but I raised my hand towards her. “Don’t give up… You have me.” I instructed her in a calm tone, and I closed my eyes once again. 

I didn’t need to close my eyes whenever I channeled nature’s energy but it gave me the peace of mind and soul. The coldness of breeze hitting the outline of our bodies is cool enough to provide a sense of relief. I channeled the energy of the wind to everyone present around me. It didn’t weaken me, but I felt a jolt of electricity passing through all my nerves whenever the next wave of breeze hit my b*dy. 

“Crystal…. I need help,” Emily asked me in a weak tone. I slowly opened my eyes and tilted my head. I immediately stepped forward and put my hand on her shoulders. Her weakened b*dy immediately straightened up. 

“Thanks.” She said in a weak tone. “If. If you can’t break this… leave it… we can think about something else to break this spell.” Vincent said to Emily in a stiff tone. “No need…. It will take two minutes only….. everyone…. Spread around.” I answered Vincent before commanding everyone. 

I needed both Marcus and Robin. Marcus was the root of all the bad things that happened around. us and Robin is the one who inherited this from his father and now causing more trouble for us. If I let him go today… It might be possible that it would backfire on me in the future.

The sparks intensified, and I narrowed my eyes when I saw a crack. “We are almost there….. don’t give up,” I instructed Emily in a firm tone, eyeing that crack and encouraging her to go on. The girl only needed some motivation from time to time, and she was perfect to finish her work in hand. 

Soon all the plantations in front of us started growing taller. I directed their direction of growth towards that crack. They instantly caught fire as soon as they touched the outer area of the ring, but it didn’t stop them from growing in the same direction. 

I smirked when the crack started growing, creating a good space for one person to enter it. “Let’s finish this, Emily,” I said to Emily with finality, and kept on letting her powers use my b*dy with her using her powers too. 

I stiffened when I sensed Shadow coming towards me. “He is coming with the witch. This spell can only be broken by her.” Luna informed me, and I took a deep breath. “I… I think I can enter
