Chapter 155 

Theo’s POV 

“We can’t kill her right now. To break the spell on Crystal and her sister, we need her.” Shadow told me while beating the s**t out of Valencia. “I want to have some more fun with her, but we are running out of time.” He continued in a frustrated tone, but I didn’t pay attention to him. 

“Luna… Luna… did you get Robin?” I tried to connect with Luna, but got worried when I couldn’t reach her. This girl would be the death of me. She always made me worried for her. “Crystal… Luna.” I tried to mind link her once again. 

“We are still stuck here. The b***h has cast a spell on both places. The witches are trying to break those spells.” Luna answered me this time, but I frowned in confusion. “Both the places?? What do you mean?” I asked her in a confused tone. 

“We found Marcus… he is still alive.” She answered me in a cold tone this time. I was stunned by her answer though. “What???? What did you say?” Shadow asked her in a shocked tone. “Concentrate on killing them, Shadow.” I immediately scolded him. Distraction between a fight could be fatal for us. 

“I am sure that it was Valencia who deceived us back then and replaced Marcus with someone else. Both Adam and I sensed his presence here. But we need your help now.” Luna said further in a 

serious tone. 

“Give me a second.” Shadow answered her once again, making me grunt in annoyance. He immediately wrapped his hand around Valencia’s n*eck once again, and took a deep breath. A witch immediately opened a portal for him and with a loud roar, he jumped in that portal. 

Valencia screamed in pain, but Shadow roared again, threatening her to shut her mouth. He jumped out of the portal and sniffed harder. It took me only a few seconds to understand the 

situation here. “She is once again using her powers.” I informed Shadow in a serious tone. 

He roared once again and started running towards Pearl. This girl… She really made me worried to death. I didn’t know how did she got her strength back to come here, but she didn’t need to use her powers so frequently. 

“We are running out of time.” I said to Shadow in a worried tone. Shadow grunted in response, but didn’t say a word. As soon as we reached Pearl, she signalled in the other direction by raising her 

chin. 

“Give the control back to me,” I demanded Shadow, and he imately retreated back. I looked in that direction and saw a narrow crack there. Although the wall that Valencia had created through a spell is invisible, the crack there made it realize people that there is something standing between that place and them. 

“Break the spell.” I commanded Valencia in a cold tone while tightening my grip on her n*eck. She gagged once again, but she was now out of strength. “Break the spell.” I once again commanded her in an angry tone this time.

She was still holding my wrist, but her grip was now weak. She laughed weakly and slowly opened. her eyes. She had no strength left in her b*dy to even open her eyes properly. “Never.” She spat and I rolled my eyes. 

I slowly brought her face near to me. She was still hanging in the air. “Do you think I like to play by books?” I asked her in a sinister tone. She narrowed her eyes while looking at me suspiciously. A sinister smile appeared on my l*ps. 

The next second, I dug one of my nails deeper into her artery there, and connected myself with her blood. “N… no…. y… ou can’t do this. She yelled in a weak and panicked tone. “What are you doing?” Crystal also yelled in panic. 

“Tell your 

witch friend to hold my hand,” I instructed Crystal in a cold tone while looking straight into Valencia’s eyes with the same smirk on my l*ps. Her eyes were now almost popping out of their sockets in shock. 

I raised another hand in the air, and soon a small hand was inside my palm. I took a deep breath and started transferring Valencia’s power and her knowledge to the witch girl. This arrangement is temporary, and that was why, I didn’t hesitate to use this method. 

Suddenly, I felt a surge of energy inside my b*dy. I sighed internally but welcomed this energy. Valencia tried hard to get away from my grip, but it made me dig the nail deeper. “Now…. Break the spell.” I commanded the witch in a loud and cold tone when Valencia’s b*dy weakened in my grip. 

I looked towards the crack and then to Valencia. “No… no… you… ou can’t do this.” She yelled in panic once again when she realized what I was going to do. I snorted in disdain, and at the same time, I heard the other witch enchanting something loudly. 

I suddenly raised Valencia’s b*dy high in the air. Her scream made me shrink my shoulders to save my ears, but I didn’t stop. I threw her b*dy towards the crack. “Crystal… Now, I commanded Crystal at the same time in a loud tone. 

Valencia was about to use a spell to save herself when several bushes, suddenly, penetrated through her b*dy from different directions. The corners of my mouth twitched, and she screamed in pain before looking at me in disbelief. 

The bushes took her towards the crack. She was now on the death bed I could feel. Her heartbeat was too faint to be noticed. “I… I will be back.” She mouthed before closing her eyes. I scoffed and looked at Crystal who was now standing beside me. 

“The spell is removed.” The witch announced in a weak tone. Both I and Crystal looked at her. Her b*dy swayed as if she were about to collapse. “Emily,” Crystal yelled in panic and was about to grab Emily when Vincent pulled her into his embrace, making me raise my brows in surprise. Vincent was not the kind of man of approached the opposite gender casually. 

“You should go… I will take care of them.” Vincent said to Crystal while holding Emily tightly into his embrace. This was the first time that I saw Vincent protected over someone else than Crystal and his mother,

“We should hurry.” Shadow urged me in a serious tone. “Let’s go,” I said to Crystal while holding her hand. I shifted back into my human form while walking towards the building. “There must be more traps…. Everyone stay alert.” I commanded everyone while walking straight towards an iron door. 

“We need to hurry back.” William said in a hurried and panicked tone this time. I didn’t respond to him this time. I knew that we had wasted so much time here. I didn’t know if Martha and Warrick would be able to survive until we go back or not. But it didn’t mean that I would give up. No… I can’t…. for the sake of my mate… I can’t. 

I kicked the door, opened it with a bang, and strode inside. We stopped immediately and shrank 

our noses in disgust when the stench of blood, urine and filth hit our noses. “He is dying.” Crystal murmured and I looked around. The whole place was covered in darkness, but we could see because of our wolf’s vision. 

“Take him back even if he has one last breath, 1 ordered William when I spotted someone lying on the floor a little far from us. The person didn’t look up but I immediately raised my hand to stop everyone when I heard a very faint growl coming from that man. 

I narrowed my eyes and sniffed again. “He… He is not Robin.” William said with some hesitation. making me frown in confusion. I never met Robin or his father Ruben. So, I didn’t know about their appearance. 

“It doesn’t matter if he is Robin or not… he is the person who tormented me and my sister after Marcus… William… we can’t let him go.” Crystal said in a cold tone. I took a deep breath and took a step forward. 

The person growled again, but this time it was audible to everyone. “He is a hybrid, but a strong one,” Nelson commented in a bitter and cold tone. Shadow growled lowly in anger too. Crystal was about to take a step towards him when I stopped her by tightening my grip on her wrist. 

“Don’t forget that you were his target earlier. He knows your weakness and can manipulate you at any time.” I said to Crystal in a calm tone. She frowned and scratched the bridge of her nose. 

“Take her out, William…… you come with me, Nelson,” I instructed them and released Crystal’s hand. She suddenly gripped my hand. I could feel her panic. “I will be okay, my love… just go out.” I comforted her through our mind link. 

“Be careful… he never plays by books.” She replied to me in a worried tone. “So do I.” I replied to her in a comforted tone. “Let’s go,” Nelson murmured and we both walked towards Robin who was still on the ground, covered in blood and filth. 

He was a pawn in Valencia’s game. So, his condition was not a surprise for me. I felt some uneasiness coming from Nelson’s b*dy, but I didn’t have time to worry about him right now. We had to take him back to the pack as soon as possible. 

We stopped a close distance from him. “R….. Ruben!!!!!!” Suddenly Nelson exclaimed in shock, making me snap my head towards him in confusion and shock. Nelson’s eyes were widened in shock. I once again looked back at the person lying on the ground.
