Chapter 144 

Crystal’s P.O.V. 

My heart was weeping for my brother. He was so much in pain because of the constant torment of that prick. I swore to the goddess that I would kill him without. even blinking once I got my hand on his n*eck. 

I told them that they needed to control their negative emotions, but Vincent was always an emotional person. I was happy that both William and Adam managed to find their mates, but my heart shattered into so many pieces when I saw my sister’s almost non–existent b*dy in his embrace. 

“This is her dream…. He managed to drag all of us here. We have to get out of here if we want to live.” Adam told us in a cold tone. Vincent was still whimpering in pain. I didn’t know why that red–eyed man was targeting Vincent among all of us when he should have been chasing me. 

I knew the answer very well though. He wanted me to feel my brother’s pain and become sad and depressed. This was the only way that he could win by tormenting my beloved brothers, and mate in front of me. Theo was stronger than both. William and Vincent, and that was why he hadn’t attacked Theo yet. 

Suddenly, William screamed in pain, making me snap my head towards him worriedly. I saw him falling on his knee while holding Victoria tightly in his embrace. She gasped in pain too and held him tightly by his n*eck. All the lines on my forehead straightened and I looked around with a k*ssing instinct. 

“He wants you to lose control over your emotions so that he can control you, love. Don’t let him give this satisfaction.” Theo said to me in a gentle and loving tone. “I am going to beat him in his own game,” I said while gritting my teeth in anger. 

I took a deep breath while looking at Adam’s mate this time. I felt a lump in my throat when I remembered that she was my twin younger sister…. this was what Theo and Vincent told us about her. 

She was also looking at me curiously but I could say that she was losing her breath. We didn’t have time for this reunion. “This is your dream, right?” I asked her in a cracked tone. I was afraid that she would be disappointed as I didn’t show any happiness or any other emotions, but I was surprised to see her tactic 

understanding with me.. 

Yeah.’ she answered me in a very low tone. “Let me tell you something first as you need to be stronger on your emotions now,” I said to her in a hurried but firm tone. 

She gave me a curt nod. If I wanted to defeat this red–eyed man, I needed to make sure there was a safe exit for them. I didn’t want any of my loved ones here. 

I pointed towards Adam first. “He is your mate…. the one who will spend the rest of his life with you.” I introduced Adam to her in the same tone. She smiled faintly, but I could still see a little blush on her cheeks. 

Then I pointed towards William. “This is our elder brother William and her mate, Victoria.” I introduced them to her and then pointed towards Vincent who was still trying to control his pain. “And this is our second elder brother, Vincent,” I gave his introduction to her. 

All this time, I glued my eyes to her face to see the change in her emotions. “As you can see all of us are stuck here. I don’t know whom, but only you can take us out of here.” I said further in a hurried tone but my voice cracked a bit again. 

“I… I can’t go out… I… I am bound to die here….. I am sorry.” She replied to me in 

I… a choked tone while sobbing a little. I immediately shook my head in no….. it was clear to me now that all the negative impulses that we felt here were related to her. Her negative emotions were so strong that they were now suppressing us. 

“No, my love… you are just a pawn in his game…. this is me who he wants dead.” I said to her in a loving tone. She was after all my younger twin sister… There was no way that I would let him torment her anymore… 

Her eyes widened in shock mixed with disbelief. “I don’t know who separated us at the time of our birth, but his target is now both of us… he wants both of us dead but he wants to kill me first before killing you.” I continued in a firm tone. Her breaths raged and she coughed hard this time. 

“Do whatever you want, Crystal…. She will go nowhere.” He taunted me in his d*rty voice once again, making me grimace while looking around angrily. I closed my eyes once again and opened them after a few seconds. I could feel that we needed. to leave this place as soon as possible, or else our lives would be in danger for good. 

“Don’t listen to him, love…. just listen to me… Only me.” I said to her in a firm tone this time. She whimpered in pain while looking at me with a fearful gaze mixed with pain. “You can do this, love…. This… this is our family… we need to save them…. we have to save them… bo.. both of us are destined with each other… don’t let him win this game.” I pleaded to her to believe me her whole heart. 

They are not her family…. They abandoned her.” He screamed but I cut him off with an angry growl.

I will be back, love… I promise that I will be back… we have so much to share with each other… we missed each other back then…. but not now.. we will live the rest of our lives together and it will be so many years.” I said with assurance in my voice. My voice was now hoarse as I was trying to suppress my overwhelming. emotions. 

She whimpered again but I smiled genuinely at her. She had to put herself together and take them back. Only she could do this as this was her dream. I cleared my throat and looked at everyone around me. Theo was now standing beside me. Vincent and William were still in pain, but they looked more worried. than in pain. 

“Go back with her and wait for me. I will be back soon.” I instructed them in a firm tone. “No, Crystal… you are not doing this alone.” William immediately refused in a stern tone. “She is not alone.” Theo said in a firm tone before I could reply to him. 

I immediately snapped my head towards him in shock. He smiled while looking at me lovingly. “We fought all our battles together, my love… let’s finish this together too.” He said to me and I immediately shook my head negatively. No… let him come with me. 

I couldn’t 

A sudden roar around us made us flinch harder…. The whole area started trembling making us stumble on our feet. I immediately looked at my sister in Adam’s embrace. I still didn’t know her name, but this was not the time to ask her 

name.

using my authority as her elder sister. She had tears in her eyes but soon determination filled her eyes. “I love you.” I mouthed to her with a faint smile. 

The grumbling sound increased around us. I took a deep breath while closing my eyes. I had to do this for everyone’s sake. I knew she was weak. I could feel that she couldn’t make out of this dream even if she wanted to. Suddenly a warm hand engulfed my hand in his, passing his strength to me. 

“Adam, William… Vincent… hold your hands together.” I instructed them in a stern. and cold voice. “Crystal.” Vincent cried in agony. 

“Do it now.” I roared, and at the same time, I felt a movement right behind me. “Now,” I roared and immediately spun on my toes. The whole area started rumbling aloud, indicating that it was about to collapse. 

I passed my strength to my sister through our sister bond and forced her to wake up. At the same time, I opened my eyes and smiled wickedly. The same pair of red eyes appeared in front of me. This time there was no malice and murderous expression in those eyes. Instead, they were filled with shock and fear. 

Theo held my hand tightly while wrapping his other hand around my waist protectively. I glanced at my family and smiled widely when I saw them disappearing together in front of my eyes. I managed to save them. Now, it was time to teach this b****d a lesson before killing him. He messed up our lives for so long. Now it was time to pay back. 

“Gottcha.” I said wickedly and before he could do anything, I pulled him in my embrace before closing my eyes, leading my virtual self in my dream.
