Nelson just stared at Elizabeth in shock. The same went with everyone. They didn’t know how to respond to this revelation. Nelson slowly looked at Warrick and Martha with a burning gaze.
Warrick panicked while widening his eyes. “We searched the whole area for her mother but didn’t find any traces of any other life around her. We are the second rankers… We would have sensed her presence if… if she would have been there.” Warrick said to Nelson in a panicked tone, explaining why they only had Crystal with them.
“Are you kidding me, Warrick? They are twins… I have heard the story about how did you find her back then….. You… you said that (cough… Cough… cough)… When you guys found her, the placenta was still attached to her b*dy, indicating that she was just born a few minutes ago at that time…. “They were cursed together but it didn’t take effect all these years because of the distance between them. You can say that it was a blessing in disguise of suffering that they were separated right after their birth or they would have died earlier.” She continued telling them about the effect of the curse on both Crystal and the rogue girl.

“I… I can lift this curse, but I need a mated couple for this.” She answered Martha, making everyone raise their brows in suspicion. “Except Vincent… Everyone is mated to someone, my queen.” Warrick said to her in a confused tone this time.
“Not them, Warrick…. A healthy mated couple.” Elizabeth told him in a stiff tone this time. In the room, only Warrick and Martha were a healthy mated couple, not affected by the curse. “But there is a problem with that.” She spoke further in the same tone when Warrick was about to say something.

He knew what Elizabeth was hinting but he didn’t want to put his parents‘ life in danger. “Whoever will take this curse on them will die within 48 hours. It means that we have to find the host within 48 hours if we want to save them.” She answered him in a serious tone while looking at Warrick and Martha with sympathy.
Martha and Warrick looked at each other, and Martha smiled lovingly. If giving up her life along with her mate could save her pups then she was ready to do this. “If we are going to die together, then let’s do this,” Warrick said in a loving and gentle tone while looking at his mate lovingly.
