“Call your queen and tell her that I want to talk to her.” Martha once again instructed Melissa in a firm tone and looked back at me. 

“What do you mean that the host is someone else? There is no hybrid in this pack who has Marcus‘ blood in his or her veins or someone who is in touch with any wicked witch,” Vincent asked me in a confused tone while squinting his eyes. 

I had no strength to explain to him right now. “Where is that rogue?” Suddenly Nelson asked in a hurried tone. “She… She is in the hospital and she is still unconscious….. why did you ask?” Vincent answered him in the same confused.

My mind started running while putting all the pieces together of this puzzle. It could be a co–incidence and couldn’t be at the same time. They found that at the same day when we asked William to reach the royal palace as soon as possible as Crystal was not in a good condition. 

William’s whole family felt a connection with that girl but couldn’t tell what kind. of connection it was. I also remembered that Adam told me that he sensed his mate around the border of this pack. What if…. what if she is Adam’s mate…. The girl from Crystal’s mate. 

“Bring… bring her here.” I roared when I realized that there must be a connection among them with that girl. “What happened?” Vincent panicked again but we didn’t have much time to explain everything to them. 

“Don’t ask anymore question and ask someone to bring her here…. they are dying… we don’t have time.” I answered him while instructing him in a stern tone. “Do…. Do you think that that she is connected with this whole situation, huh?” Nelson asked me while raising his brows and I nodded in agreement. 

He muttered something under his breath but ran out of the room immediately. I sighed and looked at Crystal into my embrace. Her breaths were shallow now. “Martha…. The queen.” I looked in Melissa’s direction when I heard her calling Mom in a hurried tone. 

Martha took the phone from her and put it on her car with a calm face. “Greetings, my queen….. I am Martha Spears… the mother of Blood Moon Pack’s alpha….. I am sure that you already know about the situation here….. I need a favour from you, Martha greeted the queen in a calm tone and requested for the favour.

“Yeah… Melissa told me about the curse that she detected in your son’s mate’s b*dy. I am really sorry, Martha…. But right now…. I have no one with us who can break this curse.” The queen answered her in an apologetic tone. 

“I know, my queen…. Melissa has already told me the reason…. The favour that I want from you is the permission for Melissa to perform a ritual to shift this curse from Victoria to someone else,” Martha replied to her in the same tone while looking towards William and Victoria. 

“What? You…. You want to shift this curse?” the queen asked her in a shocked tone. “Yeah, my queen…. Everyone who is affected by this curse is like my pups to me. I am their mother. There is no way that I can let them die in front of my eyes. I?” Martha said in a cracked tone this time. She was trying hard to suppress her emotions, but she was still a human.

There was silence on the other side for a few seconds. “Please put the call on the speaker, Martha…. I want to talk to Melissa.” The queen requested her in a calm tone after some time. Martha immediately removed the phone from her ear and put the call on the speaker. 

“Melissa…. Who is the host among them?” the queen asked her in a serious tone. Melissa sighed while looking at me. “This is exactly the problem, my queen. No one affected by this curse is host here. One of them, Alpha William’s mate is the carrier, but not the host.” Melissa answered her in a troubled tone. 

“Then it’s not possible that they all can be affected by this curse if they haven’t come in contact with the host.” The queen muttered and I immediately raised my brows. “Uhhh…. Can meeting someone in your dreams count as meeting the host in personal, my queen?” I asked her in a firm tone this time. 

“Who is this?” The Queen asked me immediately. “I am Alpha Theo from The Crescent Moon Pack. One of them is my mate, Crystal…. She was having a nightmare from the past three weeks in which she heard someone calling for help but she was chased by a vampire cum werewolf in these nightmares.” I told her about Crystal’s dream.. 

“She tried to find that girl in her dream despite being chased by that hybrid, huh?” She inquired immediately, and I nodded, but remembered that she couldn’t see me. “Yeah, my queen… to find that girl in her dreams, we sorted help from one of our friends, Adam, who is also a hybrid with royal vampire blood in his veins. He entered her dream and found out that the girl was his mate, but none of them was able to find her there.” I explained the whole situation briefly. 

“We need to hurry…. She is losing her life.” Thunder screamed at the back of my 

mind, making me more dizzy than I was already. Suddenly, I sniffed when an unfamiliar smell filled the air. At the same time, Nelson entered the room with a girl’s b*dy in his hands. “I brought her.” He yelled while panting heavily. 

Vincent immediately stood up from the bed and jogged towards Nelson. “Did you find that girl?” the queen asked in surprise through the call. “We… We are not sure if she is the same girl from my mate’s dream or not, but we found her in a very bad shape outside this pack during that period, my queen.” I answered her while looking towards Vincent. 

He had a worried face as he followed Nelson towards the couch, where Nelson pur her b*dy. I stiffened when I felt a connection with that girl too. “This is really strange… Her aura is very similar to Crystal’s aura.” Thunder murmured at the back of my mind. 

“They are dying, my queen… we need to make a decision as soon as possible.” I said. in a hurried tone when their bodies suddenly started trembling. All of us were now losing our strengths too. 

“Melissa….. open the portal for me.” The queen instructed Melissa immediately. Melissa didn’t waste a second and raised her hands in the air while enchanting something. Soon, a big circle of light appeared in front of us. “Hold on, my love… Hold on… just for a bit. I will save you… I will definitely save you.” I said this to Crystal while trying to hold her b*dy tightly in my embrace. 

Soon, a woman with a strong aura came out of that circle. She had worn an off- white, plain long gown, giving off a vibe of royalty. Melissa immediately bowed in front of her, making all of us bow our heads in front of her out of respect too. She was the queen witch. 

She passed a genuine, charming smile to us, but her smile stiffened immediately, and she sniffed harder. “Who is the girl whom you suspected of being the host?” she asked us immediately. 

“There… she is the girl.” Warrick immediately pointed towards the couch. “Bring all of them on the ground and make the lie there.” The queen instructed us while walking towards the middle of the room. Two more women and a man came out. of that circle. They had some bags in their hands. 

“None of them is the host…. but two of them are carriers, and the rest two are the targets.” She murmured, making us gasp in shock. My eyes widened in shock too. “Wh.. who are the carriers?” Martha asked anxiously this time. 

“What are their names?” The queen asked hurriedly while the other people with

Melissa arranged a few things on the study table. I immediately told her their names. She nodded and then looked at me. 

“So… you and your mates are the famous couple whose wolves claimed to be an ancient soul, huh?” she asked me with a teasing smile. I gave her just a nod in agreement but didn’t say a word. “Can you help us in removing this curse, my queen?” Martha once again asked her anxiously. 

“I am sorry, Martha… I can’t break this curse as this comes under the dark spells and has been banned from being practiced for more than five hundred years. I need to find out who casted this spell after controlling the situation here…. but at first… Please lay down Crystal in the middle with that rogue girl.” She answered Martha in an apologetic tone and instructed in a firm tone in the middle. 

I raised my brows in suspicion, but I did what she asked. I pulled Crystal’s b*dy up into my embrace and went straight into the middle of the room. The other witches. started enchanting something under their breaths. Melissa also joined them with a serious face. 

After putting Crystal’s b*dy on the floor, I stood up and looked at the rogue girl’s b*dy beside her. Vincent brought her here. “Didn’t you feel that they have some similarities?” Vincent asked me while scratching the back of his n*eck in confusion. 

“Put Victoria on the right side of Crystal and Adam’s b*dy on the right side of Adam.” The queen instructed us once again while enchanting something. William and Warrick immediately did what she asked. “Now… everyone step aside.” She instructed us in a stern tone and kept on enchanting something under her breath. 

She threw something in the air right over their bodies. Their trembling bodies. immediately calmed down. My heart was now beating furiously inside my chest. I felt that it would burst out of my chest at any time soon. 

“This girl… who is she?” Nelson murmured under his breath, but it was enough for me to listen as we were standing beside each other on the other side of the couch. “What happened?” Vincent asked him in a hushed tone, as none of us wanted to disturb the witches. I glanced at Nelson when he didn’t answer us. 

He had uneasiness on his face, which made me suspicious about something. Don’t tell me that he also felt a connection with this girl. The mystery around this girl was getting denser with every passing second. 

“Aaahhhh.” Suddenly, the queen screamed in pain, making all of us gasp in shock. She stumbled on her feet, backward, losing her balance. Warrick, who was at a distance right behind her with Martha, immediately went forward and held her 

tightly, saving her from a fall. 

She immediately coughed up blood that shocked all of us. Martha gave her a towel while looking at her with a worried face. “Are… are you alright, my queen?” she asked in a worried tone. The queen shook her head negatively and took the towel from Martha. 

The other witches kept on enchanting, and soon we saw a light circle of light forming around their bodies. I felt their breathing went calm immediately, making me take a breath in relief. “Why didn’t you tell me that these girls are sisters?” The queen yelled angrily while coughing lightly. 

“What? What did you say?” Martha asked her in a daze while jerking her head backwards. My eyes widened in shock when I heard what she said, and I snapped my head towards Crystal and that rogue girl, lying beside cach other on the floor. 

“How could this be?” Hunter murmured in shock at the back of my mind, but I didn’t pay any attention to him. No wonder they felt so similar to each other. They didn’t have identical faces, but there was so much similarity between their faces 

and b*dy structure.
