Chapter 14
"You didn't have any sexual relations with your mate? You would come to regret it since the yearning for your mate would force you to strangle to death if you did it." "So?" I scream. "Is everything going to be great if we just had a little sex? Is it feasible that I would never like him or desire to have sexual relations with him in the future?" Neme bursts out laughing. The head is thrown back, and the eyes are closed. "Sussan, you can't run away from your fate. It tracks you down."
I heave a sigh.
Neme continues to walk, without glancing back at any point. She enters via the front entrance and down the stairs. The snow from yesterday hasn't melted yet, and it's already almost up to my knees. When Neme squats, she extends her arm, which is full of snow, into the air.
We join our hands and fling snow into the dismal sky, allowing it to fall gracefully in our hair and on our clothing as it does.
I can't stop a grin from spreading over my face when I see my closest sister's natural attractiveness.
Her cheeks are flushed from the cold, snow is strewn through her dirty blonde hair, and her grin betrays her enjoyment of the situation...
The howling begins with the small wolf on my stomach, and the others soon join in.
It's a little too loud for my taste. Their hushed moans are deafeningly quiet. I'm being choked by another wolf who has slept on my face. "Can you tell me what's going on?"
The howling of the wolves comes to an end. My face one slips off and sits near my skull, but it's still there. Even though I'm still resting in the snow, I see David standing above me with his arms crossed over his chest. The wolves begin to stir as I climb to my feet.
I become worried for no apparent cause. "They showed up on time.
"Oh, Luna! I'm so sorry! Sorry!"
When I look back, I see a woman sprinting towards us in her arms. As a result, she snarls at the young wolves. Even if some whimper, the whole group, including Neme, follows.
As the woman hands them a blanket, several of them turn to gaze at David. David approaches me and places his hand on my hip.
I believe you diverted their attention throughout training. David explains the situation.
"Me?" I'm astonished by this. "We were simply talking and making snowmen,"
David's blue eyes appear amused, despite his lack of a smile. I'm guessing this amuses him.
"Can we provide a hand to Luna in building a snowman?"
A man pouts his bottom lip, and I look down to see who it is. He sits there, his little body covered in the blanket, waiting for my response.
"It's over," David declares.
When a burst of wind strikes me in the face, I realize how cold I have become. I see how my body is trembling and how the snow has soaked through my clothes. With her face hidden by the snow, Neme smiles, and winks, as if David isn't standing behind me, keeping an eye on her.
"I'll go inside my room and warm-up."
She turns and walks away from us.

Neme cracks a grin. Before I go, I'm stuffed with a condom packet in my bag.
I was raged and ashamed and raced back to the room after casting a peek at David.
I lock the door, tightly.
As soon as I remove my clothing, I turn on the hot water. My fingers, toes, and nose are stinging from the hot water above me. My teeth rattle when I'm taking a bath or shower. I stagger out of the steamy bathroom, dripping wet, and put a towel over my head to protect myself.
David, Jessica, Neme Hunter, and the rest of the group are chatting as they wait for dinner to be served. Without a certain, the seat to David's left and directly across from Hunter is empty, waiting for me.
Despite the heat, I have the sensation of being an ice cube. I take a seat and wait for the mystery meal to begin to be served.
"What are your thoughts, Luna?"
From my food-obsessed thoughts, I raise my eyes to the gentleman who has just spoken to me. He's a pepper black man with wrinkles and a brilliant smile on his face, I'm taken aback by his distinct physical look. Everyone seems to be in their prime, with a young appearance.
My cheeks are warmed by embarrassment, "I was concerned with supper,"
He cracks a grin.
"I completely understand what you're saying, dear. Jessica is a master at the dinner table. David and Hunter, on the other hand, we're talking about safeguarding bullets. For years, men and women have been able to choose their own schedules, and David contemplated changing that."
With my eyes widening in awe, I look at David, wondering whether this is all genuine. The blazing blue eyes of his eyes catch my attention as he gives me a short glance.
I cough a little. "Well, I think that is dependent on the historical context. What's the point of making a change if nothing is wrong?"
Every year, because of an unmated Luna and the dread of being kidnapped, we've received Rogue threat.
I may be creating issues for the group. The fact that I feel tingles and heat when a hand is squeezed by mine tells me it's David's. In his blue eyes, I see a reflection of myself.
I withdraw my hand away from him in order to stop the tingling sensations he is giving me.
I'm about to say anything when Allison walks in with a tray full of breakfast delicacies for me. My stomach grumbles as a result of the aroma. My mouth watered at the sight of the expensive serving dish on the table.
David takes a taste of his dinner with his fork, which he does quiet. As I savor my delicious dinner, I feel pleased with myself.
Jessica hands me a platter that is littered with food. "There's no need to help me clean.?" She smirks, clearly amused. "I'm looking for something to do." I am forthright.
Before I wash the dish, I scrape it with a soapy sponge to remove any stuck-on food. She does nothing except grin and gives me a spoon. After I've finished washing the spoon, I turn off the water and go up to Jessica, wondering why she's keeping an eye on me.
Every time I look at her, I am taken aback by her stunning beauty.
"Can you tell me why you're looking at me?" I have my doubts.
Jessica exhales a sigh of disappointment. She had a sorrowful grin on her face.
"I understand your distress, Susan." Despite my best efforts to dissuade her and assure her that nothing is wrong, Jessica grins and offers her hand.
"Although you are continuously surrounded by people, you seem to be completely ignorant of what is going on. Nobody has explained anything to you, and I understand your disinterest. Several years ago, I was in your shoes."
