Chapter Kidnapped
two months later
Abby, Annie and myself all go shopping on a weekly basis. Once I hit my last month of pregnancy we started piling up on baby things. Roman wasn’t happy that I was on my feet so much, so today he made it his job to make sure I stayed in bed all day. My huge stomach made a mountain in the sheets. Henry hasn’t been around much either but I’m not too worried about him. Annie is on one side of me and Abby on the other. Together we all watched a movie called ‘The Boy’. Still Haven’t figured out what it’s about but then again none of us are really paying attention. Every time my baby boy kicks we all stop and look at my stomach adorably. Well as adorable as I can, being kicked by a werewolf baby kind of hurts. “What are you going to name him?” Annie asks.
“I have no idea.” I sigh honestly. “Roman really likes the name Daxom so we can call him baby Dax but I’m just not feeling it. I’ve always thought that when I heard the name it would just click but nothing is.”
“Well if it helps I think that name is weird.” Abby says. (no offense to anyone with that name. I actually love it but I had no other names in mind). I shrug.
“All I know is that we need to get a name soon. I have a feeling this baby is going to come sooner than we think.”
“Do you have the nursery set up yet?” Annie asks.
“Yeah and it’s so cute!” I exclaim. “We decided to make it blue mountain themed. And one of the walls is painted with different shades of blue mountains right above the crib!” They both Aw in unison.
We hung out in my room for a long time since I’m not allowed to leave. Just as I’m about to fall asleep there’s a loud crash downstairs. “What was that?” Abby asks warily.
“I don’t know.” I whisper. “Roman was that you?” I ask. There’s nothing but silence.
“You two stay here.” Annie orders. “I’m going to take a look.”
“NO WAIT!” I whisper/shout. “Stay here with me. I don’t want you to get hurt. Roman will be here soon.” Annie hesitates before nodding and sitting back down, but she’s completely tense. “Roman? Please tell me this is a joke. I’m kind of scared.” Still nothing.
“Try linking Maxon.” Annie suggests. I nod.
“Maxon?”
“Luna?” He answers immediately.
“Oh thank gosh Maxon!” I breathe a sigh of relief. “I think there’s someone in the house and it’s just Annie, Abby and myself here. Can you please come and get us?”
“I’m on my way Luna.”
“He’s coming.” I assure the girls. Another crash sounds but it’s closer to us this time.
“Oh my goddess!” Abby panics.
“It’s okay Abby.” I soothe. Annie growls.
“I can smell something getting close but It’s a new scent.” She tells us just before she shifts. The door handle wiggles and Abby lets out a whimper. Annie stands guard, standing right at the door, ready to lunge if the intruders get in. As soon as the door opens she jumps at it. I cover my eyes in fear. In a mess of skin and fur I hear the sounds of growling then an ear piercing yelp and then silence.
“Come on Luna. There’s no need to be scared of me.” A familiar voice says in a sweet voice. I uncover my eyes and see the one person I never thought I’d see again in my life. Sam. “Surprise!” He says less than enthusiastically.
“S-Sam?” I stutter out. “W-what are you doing here?”
“Well when you ran crying that night at my house after you finally found out I was cheating I followed you. But when I got to your house I smelled a wolf. Immediately I knew the truth about you.” He smirks. “When I found out you had a mate I was furious. I couldn’t let anyone have my girl now could I?” The way he says it, it’s like what he’s doing is completely normal. I guess it is for him.
“Stay away from her.” Abby growls.
“Oh shut up.” Sam says as he shoots her in the leg. She screams, clutching her now bleeding thigh. “I guess I should take you now huh?” Is he really asking me? All of a sudden a black flash hits me in the side of my head and I’m out.
I wake up in a dark room chained to a wall by my ankles. The side of my head where Sam hit me with his gun throbs as I look around. “Scared?” Sam’s voice asks.
“How could I be scared of a human like you?” I snap back. “You’re just weak. That’s why you hide behind masks.”
“You don’t know anything.” He hisses.
“Roman?” I think desperately. “I really need you right now.”
“You’re going to stay here until that runt of yours is born. Then I’ll kill it in front of you and keep you as my personal play toy.” Sam laughs.
“You’re not going to touch my child.” I growl with a force I didn’t know I had. Sam surges forward and grabs my jaw in a tight grip.
“You’re the weak one here Lexi. I have control over you.” Sam’s head cocks to the side. “You’re own father thought you were weak too didn’t he?” I know he’s not really asking but it still stings. “That’s why he left you and had your sister instead.” His laughter rings through the room.
“How long have you been watching me?” I ask.
“Long enough to know the exact day you lost your virginity.” He says. Almost three months. He’s been watching us for three months and we never noticed. We only thought of the roughs. A shiver runs through me. “So now you’re going to stay here a rot away for the next few days. Just until your runt comes then the fun will really begin.” Sam walks away, slamming the door on his way out. A strange cry comes from the other side of my cell where a little boy who looks to be about four sits in the corner looking at me with fearful eyes.
“I’m not going to hurt you little guy.” I promise I’m a whisper. “How did you get here?”
“D-daddy locked me here. He s-said I was a bad boy.” The little boy cries.
“I’ll get you out of here honey. I swear to you.” His eyes glaze over as more tears run down his small cheeks.
Days go by and still Sam never returns. I can feel the pains of labor start but make sure to never make a sound for I feared Sam would come. I try to mind link Annie or Roman but nothing comes through. Finally the pain becomes too much and I know I’m in labor. “Ah!” I scream when one of the worst pains hit me. Soon Sam comes in with a smirk.
“Is that runt finally coming?” He asks.
“Stay away from me!” I snarl.
“Now Lexi, that is no way to treat your captor.” Sam taunts.
“Please just leave me alone to give birth. Let me have this moment Sam. Then I’ll do anything you want. Please.” I plead.
“Fine!” Sam snaps. “I’ll leave. Have fun Mut.” He slams the door on his way out like usual.
“W-what’s happening to you?” The little boy asks from his corner.
“I’ll be okay honey. I’m just having a pup.” I tell him. He crawls closer to me.
“Does it hurt?”
“A little.” I admit.
“I don’t want you to hurt.” He whimpers.
“I’ll be okay honey.” I repeat. Another contraction hurts and I double over. I wish Roman was here to help me through this. To see our baby boy’s birth.
