Chapter 57 The Man
"Did you think I was going to say hello to Eri like an old friend?" I asked with a smile.
"Kasha, listen to me, Eri and his men are waiting to catch you, you can't go!" Joslin said to me more nervously.
"I'll protect myself until I kill Sotto. he's the one who made all this happen, and I won't let him live!" Anger was burning through my sanity as much as the whiskey in my glass.
"I can go with you, at least I can protect you..... though that's more than I can even hear myself say, but I'll protect you anyway." Joslin said to me.
"Thank you for your kindness, but it is better for me to handle this matter by myself, I hope you can help me take care of William when I come back." I said to Joslin.
She seemed to know that she couldn't stop me and had to agree.
A bottle of wine drained, I lay down on the bed and fell asleep.
I didn't wake up until late at night, and taking a few clothes with me, I left the Freeman's Club building alone. Before I left, I took two short swords and a mask with a painted rose from the basement.
In the night, I walked alone on the silent path, my goal was Navia City.
After dawn, I had almost reached Mills City.
Mills City was barely visible, more like a dead city.
The people on the street were sitting on the ground in despair, behind them were dilapidated buildings, they had lost hope for all this.
Most of those who left Mills City were trying to survive elsewhere, and those who remained in Mills City were those who could not walk long distances.
I walked towards Mede's house.
Having not been in Mills City for six months, Mede's cottage had been abandoned, and the roses had all withered and grown overgrown.
I walked into the living room, which already had a thick layer of dust, but all the furnishings were still the same as before. I still remember the last time I came here, I saw the bodies of the housekeeper and the maid, and the way Mede looked before she died.
The room upstairs, although it already looked a bit shabby, but the good thing was that the furniture was all still usable and could be lived in after a simple cleaning. After I tidied up the room, I planned to stay here for the night before continuing on to Navia.
After all, I needed something to eat as well. I had some fruit in my backpack that I had picked on the way, and these would be my lunch and dinner for the day.
In the evening, there was a loud noise coming from the street. I grabbed my mask and left the villa and followed the sound.
On an isolated road, several rouges were blocking in front of two girls.
The two girls, who looked to be 17 or 18 years old, or maybe younger, were huddled in a corner, crying out and calling for help. But no one came, no one even looked at them.
Perhaps those people have long been used to this kind of thing happening.
As the two girls cried in despair, I looked at the rouge and drew my short sword, ready to attack them. Just as I was about to rush over, a few darts instantly pierced their heads without any deviation.
The rouge fell to the ground and the two girls fainted after letting out a scream of terror. But I didn't even know who had killed the rouge. I ran over to look for the man, but I didn't even see a shadow. Looking at the two girls, I took them to an abandoned room in a building, left a few fruits by their side and left.

I removed the darts from the rouge's head.
Back at the villa, I also started to take the darts and began to learn how to do the same killing power as the man.
But after many attempts, the darts were hitting the wall, and after I increased my strength, the darts that were bouncing back from the wall almost hit me myself.
After dodging the darts, they fell to the ground. I picked them up and looked at them helplessly, something that not just anyone could do, even if they could manage to use several darts at the same time, it was impossible to master the force and angle as well as that person did.
This made me even more curious and eager to find that person.
After I had made myself dinner, it was already dark. The villa was so dark that I had to use candles to see clearly around me.
In Mede's study, I found a stack of maps, from Mills City to various other cities, which also detailed the location of some important facilities in the city.
I found Navia City on the map, as well as a river outside Navia City, and followed the river all the way downstream, and finally arrived at the place is Mills City.
After Mills City a few dozen kilometers ahead is the coastline, according to the time calculation, Adri if really pushed into the river, then two days should enter the range of Mills City.
This river does not have other branches, branches in the city before Navia.
But there are piranhas in the river, even a normal person falling into the river will be chewed off together with the bones, but Navia around only this one river.
If it's true that Adri fell into the river, as Joslin said, what would become of him even if he survived, I don't dare to imagine.

But I still hope that he is lucky and will definitely survive.
At night, I saw the rouge on the street was looking around for the man who killed the rouge. To force him to reveal himself, the rouge killed several civilians on the spot.
I turned around and grabbed my short sword, as well as the darts I pulled off the rouge's head, and walked out of the villa. Putting on my mask, I walked up behind a group of rouge.
"Hey, are you guys looking for me?" I asked with a sneer.
The rouge heard my voice and turned around to look at me.
"Did you kill those guys?" The leading rouge questioned icily.
"That's right, it was me, you bastards should have died a long time ago." I said looking at them.
"Kill her!" The leading rouge said in a loud voice, his voice tinged with anger.
The rouge beside him instantly lunged at me. I couldn't reveal my werewolf identity until I reached Navia City. I gripped my short sword tightly and stood still as rouge rushed to me and swung his fist at me. And the next second, the short sword has pierced his neck, rouge also that moment stopped breathing.
Several other rouges saw this scene and also took out their own weapons. I dodged their attacks and retreated to the side.
Something flew past my eyes, and the rouge were already lying on the ground before they had time to react.
Once again, the darts hit them exactly in the heart.
