Alpha's Fated Slave Mate

Chapter 58 Charles' Results

But in the night, I couldn't see anything, not even the exact direction of the darts.

I was still in a daze when a hand suddenly pulled me towards a remote place and ran. Until he stopped and turned his head to look at me.

His face was covered with a mask, I couldn't see his face, only the eyes made me feel familiar.

"You will be discovered by the rouge if you continue to stay there, they will soon come after you, you better hurry up and leave." He said to me, and then prepared to turn around and leave. "Who are you?" I asked as I looked at him, slowly taking the mask off my face.

He turned to look at me and froze for a moment.

"Kasha?" he asked, looking at me unexpectedly.

I was a little disappointed when he also took off his mask.

"Charles, it's actually you?" I asked with a bitter smile.

"I stayed here after Mede was killed. rouge thought I had left, but I stayed here just to kill those rouge," Charles told me, putting the mask back on and gesturing for me to follow him.

In an abandoned factory, Charles led me into the basement, where there were a dozen other werewolves, all of whom were Charles' men.

I don't know how he became a leader of the werewolves as an ordinary human, but he wasn't afraid of the werewolves at all.

"Kasha, what brings you to Mills, how is Adri?" Charles asked as he poured me a cup of coffee.

"I just came to look for him. They all said Adri was dead, but I still wanted to come to find him. Even if I can't find him, I will take revenge on the rouge." I said to Charles as I took the coffee. "What's going on?" Charles asked with a frown.

"Adri went to Navia City to fend off rouge, but he was badly wounded and supposedly fell into the river. But I know that he will survive." I took a sip of my coffee and spoke firmly to Charles. Charles glanced around him and nodded to me.

"He's going to survive." Charles said.

Even though I knew he was only saying that to comfort me.

"I'll be out of here first thing in the morning and heading to Navia City, thanks for the coffee." I said to Charles as I downed my coffee.

"Kasha, I know I've made some serious mistakes and I apologize. We can go with you if you want to go to Navia, rouge is also my enemy." Charles said seriously, and the others nodded to me.

"If you follow me, you will most likely die there with me, you will at least survive here." I didn't want to go with them to Navia, not because I was annoyed with Charles, but because I didn't want them to accompany me to death. "That's okay, we don't want to live in the shadows like rats anymore either. Whether you think I'm going to Navia with you to redeem myself or for so-called justice, I hope you'll say yes." Charles said sincerely.

"Well, I will come to you before dawn tomorrow and leave Mills together. don't take too much stuff, a few clothes and some food and water will be enough." I said to Charles.

Charles was glad that I left and returned to Mede's villa.

The rouge did not live in his house, but occupied the highest building in the city center.

Before I left, I wanted to give them a gift.

Mede's villa has a basement with a wine cellar inside. I went into the basement and by the light of my cell phone saw the wine barrels in the cellar, still in their original state. If Mede was still around, the wine would have been partially consumed by him.

On the shelves on the other side of the cellar were bottles of wine that had not been labeled. I took a dozen bottles and put them on the floor, then went to see what wine was still in the barrels. I filled the bottles with wine and put them in my backpack, and a few were strapped to my waist to secure them and make sure they didn't make a sound when they collided.

I left the villa and headed to the building.

There was rouge patrolling the outskirts of the building, and their leader was in that building. The werewolves would live on the floors near the top to show their status and for more safety.

I was about to go over and knock down a rouge when someone squeezed my shoulder, forcing me to crouch down in a bush.

"It's me, we'll go together. The one leading them is a Beta and lives on the ninth floor of the building, we can enter the building disguised as a rouge." Charles said to me as he crouched beside me.

"Wait, how did you know I was here?" I asked looking at him.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to follow you, I was just worried that you were leaving Mills alone and wouldn't come with us, so ....." Charles said with a smile.

It's true that I didn't trust him too much from the last time it happened until now, and most of the time, I was wary of him.

After all, I wouldn't always be so lucky to be rescued.

"First, pick up two pieces of clothing." I said to him.

It just so happened that a rouge was coming this way.

Charles and I looked at each other, then Charles pulled three darts from his belt and quickly threw them as the rouge looked at our position, hitting them precisely in the brow.

I looked frozen, I had tried many times and not once had I succeeded, how in the world did he do that?

Charles dragged the three rouges into the bushes, stripped the clothes off them and handed them to me, then covered their bodies with branches.

Charles seemed to be familiar with the building, and there was a storage area at the back of the building with a window to get in. I was worried about how to open the window to get in, but Charles had already used a dart to gently pry the window open and gestured for me to get in.

We tumbled through the window. although there were rouges patrolling back and forth on the outside, there were no rouges in the hall. they were on standby around the leader, except for those patrolling outside, where the leader was. "I brought this!" Charles took a bottle off his waist, and inside was a clear liquid, not knowing what it was.

"What is this?" I asked, looking to him.

"The venom from the needle thorn tree, mixed with the pollen of the bubble flower to make it, how about it?" Charles proudly showed me his result.

The venom from the needle thorn tree does not kill people or animals immediately when they come into contact with it, but causes general paralysis for a period of time. The bubble flower will cause hallucinations, and everything you see will turn into a bubble-like shape, hence the name bubble flower. And the bubble flower itself also looks like a string of bubbles, will gradually change color with the time of sunlight, as long as you do not inhale its pollen, the bubble flower still looks very dreamy plant.
