Julian's POV

It's been a week and half since Alexa came here and she is doing an amazing job with her classes and her training is going even better. She is getting stronger every day and I am having to find new ways to push her. Her fighting abilities are some the best I have seen. She has taken down Luca multiple times. I have yet to fight with her. That starts next week. I was headed back to my office when my secretary stopped me and gave me a message from Colter. I took the message and walkec into my office.

“Zion, I really don't want to call him. I know he wants Alexa, and I don't want to give her up. In the last week and half, I think have fallen in love with her” I mind linked my wolf.

“I know I have. She is strong and beautiful and sassy and it's everything we wanted in a mate.”

“I know she said she didn't want a relationship, but I think it is slowly turning into that. We're together all the time and spend every night together. What am I supposed to do? Do I call Colter?”

“You should call him; he has been your friend for a long time.”

I cut the link with Zion and picked up my phone. I hesitated before I hit his number in my phone book and put the phone up to my ear. He picked up the second ring.

“Iam on my way to your pack” Colter said as he answered the phone.

“Well hello to you too, and why are you on your way here?”

“I have to see Alexa; I have a theory I need to test” Colter said.

“What is that theory?” I asked.

“I think she might be my mate.”

“WHAT” I yelled into the phone.

“Ya man. That is why my wolf won't leave me alone about her. He is getting worse every day. I have to figure this out before I rip someone's head off”

“OK, fine but if she tells you to leave, you will do so without question.”

“I can't promise that if she is my mate but if she isn't than I will leave.”

“When will you be here?"

“In about two hours”

“How many of you because I know you don't travel alone.”

“Just me and Mac.”

“See you soon”

I hung up before he could even respond.

I slammed my hands down on the desk out of anger and stormed out of my office to find Alexa and let her know that he would be here soon. She was going to be pissed and I wasn't going to tell her that he thought he was her mate. That would just make matters worse. I walked out on the training field and found her with her last class of the day. I could see the girls were all breathing hard and covered in sweat.

“Why would he do that? Does he have a death wish?"

I could see that she went from being in a good mood to instantly pissed off. She had a pretty short temper, but that was one of the things that I loved about her. She wore her heart on her sleeve. I could tell every emotion she had.

“No, he has some business to take care of here and I can't stop him. I promise you that he will not be taking you, unless you want to”

“When will he be here?”

“In two hours.”

She just stormed off leaving me standing on the field alone. When she left, I felt like I had an Alexa shaped hole in my heart I quickly turned and followed her. She had gone to the gym. It's where she tends to go when she is feeling overwhelmed or angry.

“Alexa, please just listen to me” I asked her.

“I tried to visit my mate's mom for a long time, but she always turned me away. I had to give her at least that but I always wanted to apologize to her for what happened and explain how much I loved her son and how I wish it would have turned out different” Alex's said

“Does she know how he really died?”

“No not officially but I plan on telling her one day. She deserves to know the truth and she also deserves to see her son's murder brought to justice”

I cut the link and finished my shower and got dressed and went back downstairs to my office.

I opened my door and found Colter and his Beta Mac sitting there waiting for me. Both these men were huge for werewolf standards so for human standards they giant.

“You too, but let's cut to the chase where is Alexa?” He asked.

“She is currently training with my Beta Luca. come here” I said as I walked over to the window where they were on the training field.

They both got up and followed me to the window and we watched her for a few minutes.

“Holy shit, did she just take him down?” Mac asked.

“Yes. She is an incredible fighter and has improved in the last week so much it's insane.” I told them.

We continued to just watch her. I kept glancing at Colter to see any reaction he was having. I couldn't read anything on his face but then I noticed that his pants definitely had a large bulge in them.

“Zion, can you pick anything up from him?”

“No, he is good at hiding everything except one thing apparently”

“Let me get an Omega to show you to your room and when you're ready we can head down there” I told both of them.

They both kept watching her but nodded their heads.
