“Julissa, go back with me, OK? It’s great that you want to work. The Steward Group has so many companies and shares. You can pick whatever you want.
“Can you please stop doing this?”
Ethan looked at me apologetically.
It was not a project meeting but the Steward family’s annual meeting, which the Steward family and senior executives of the Steward Group and partner companies attended.
I just found it boring.
I didn’t say anything and stood up to leave with the excuse of going to the bathroom.
When I reached the entrance, Linda stopped me.
“How much do you want?”
