Chapter 5 

“Julissa, what are you doing?” 

Ethan looked for me everywhere with a group of people. When he saw the scene, he frowned. “Ethan, I just tried to plead for you, but she wanted to strangle me. Fortunately, they are here.” 

Linda raised her head, revealing the finger marks I had just made. 

Ethan suddenly became nervous. 

After a careful examination and finding nothing serious, he told Linda that he would find the best doctor and promised that no scar would be left. 

Then, he looked down at me. 

“Julissa, I was wrong about what happened before, but I’ve apologized and told everyone. Why did you make a fuss? What do you want to do?” 

“You weren’t like this before. Why are you so annoying now?” 

“Aren’t you satisified with what I have done?” 

He subconsciously began to lecture me. 

He didn’t stop until he noticed my disdainful look. 

“Why did you treat Linda that way? Do you know that she ran around for you and was always the first one to find you? “I don’t know why you always target her.” 

Ethan stared at me. 

Did I target her? 

“Julissa, how could you let me go?” 

Linda pretended to be scared. 

“No matter what I won’t let you go. I didn’t want to do anything to you. Why did you provoke me? It’s too late to say that.” 

I looked at her and smiled coldly. 

Linda had to suffer the consequences because she had done something evil. 

“Ethan, I’m afraid. I want her to go to jail. Otherwise…” 

Linda pointed at the surveillance camera above and pulled Ethan’s sleeve pitifully. 

Ethan looked at her. Then, he looked at me, not knowing what to do. 

After a while, he said, “It would be good to lock put her into prison for a few months to calm her down. She’s so willful 

now.” 

Then, he motioned the men who were grabbing me to let go. 

I saw a hint of viciousness flash across Linda’s eyes. 

I knew her. If I am sent to prison, I might not be able to get out. 

“When did I choke her. I didn’t. Is there evidence?” 

I looked at Ethan with a smile. 

Soon, I was brought to the big screen at the banquet. Linda wanted everyone to see how I wanted to strangle her when we disagreed. 

Suddenly, I said, “Why is there no sound?” 

Everyone’s eyes were attracted to me. Ethan frowned, and Linda was flustered. 

“How about Í dub for everyone?” 

I took out my phone and turned on the recording. 

In an instant, Linda’s face turned pale.
