After Divorcing my Captain Husband (Chloe and Michael)

Chapter Divorcing 360

Chapter 360 Envied Her

Felix was furious and scolded Lucy, looking at her, "You have an unclear relationship with my son, and you asked him to help you pay back so much money. You have evil intentions!" Lucy kept shaking her head. "No. You misunderstand me."

Owen stepped in front of her. "Dad, don't talk to her like that. I offered to help her pay it back. It has nothing to do with Lucy."

Chloe sighed and thought, "He's so stupid!"

"This is a matter for the Smith family. Settle it yourselves. We're going to bed, so please go home. Emma, see them off!"

Chloe didn't want to see them argue anymore and just kicked them out.

She waited until the house was quiet before glancing at Michael. "You're just like all your friends."

Chloe thought, "They're as dumb as each other."

Michael didn't get her point and kept his head down.

He thought, "If Owen didn't have the strength, he shouldn't have helped Lucy pay back the money.

And since he decided to, he shouldn't have sold the house without even thinking of a way back.

Owen made all these decisions wrong."

Afterward, Chloe heard that Owen's parents had cut ties with Owen straight away, saying that they'd be a family again whenever he bought the house back.

And Lucy was still by Owen's side, with no intention of leaving.

"It's okay if she really likes Owen and knows to be grateful and treat him well."

Chloe wanted to laugh when she heard Michael say that.

She thought, "Lucy wouldn't be Lucy if she could be grateful."

"I'll have Tom drop you off at Paramount Airlines tomorrow, and we'll go over there together after my meeting."

The Opal Group was going to host the press conference tomorrow.

"Don't bother with that. I'll drive there myself."

"The chairman of the Opal Group is a very family-oriented man who values marital harmony."

Chloe didn't know what to say.

The next day, Michael's custom-made gown for her arrived at Lotus Manor early in the morning.

She opened the gift box to see that inside was actually a modified classical gown.

The lake blue gown was embroidered with silver butterflies that looked like galaxies flowing in the sunlight.

Chloe wore it in just the right size.

If it had been a few more days, she probably wouldn't have been able to wear it.

Her belly would get bigger every day. Chloe narrowed her eyes at herself in the mirror and started thinking about divorce again.

She thought, "I have to speed up the process.

If I want to keep the baby, I have to make sure I get divorced before my belly gets too big."

Chloe got into the car while Tom sat in the driver's seat. Upon seeing her outfit for the day, he praised, "Mrs. Shawn, you look beautiful today." Chloe smiled, "Thanks, Tom."

The car drove up to the entrance of Paramount Airlines. Chloe hadn't intended to get out of the car.

But Michael had sent her a message asking her to come up there. She could only push open the car door. Walking through Paramount Airlines, she caught the attention of countless people with this particular outfit. The flight attendants who previously worked with Chloe were surprised to see her when they got off the plane.

"Isn't that Chloe? I never thought she was Mr. Shawn's wife before. I thought Lucy and Mr. Shawn were a couple at the time."

"Stop it. Chloe has a lot more class than Lucy. Look at that gown she's wearing now. No one can wear it with her temperament!" Chloe had a perfectly proportioned body with no flab at all!

Every woman envied her!

Chloe pushed open the door to Michael's office as everyone watched.
