Zero to Infinity

Chapter CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Zero and Jenny were so excited about their wedding day. The preparations had taken weeks, but it was all worth it. The kingdom was decorated in beautiful flowers, and everyone was dressed in their finest clothes. Jenny walked down the aisle, looking absolutely beautiful. Zero could not take his eyes off her. Zero was dressed in a tuxedo, and he looked handsome. When they reached the end of the aisle, they turned to face the audience. The Matriarch began to speak, and Zero and Jenny stared each other on, locked eye in eye.

When it was time for them to say their vows, they spoke from the heart.

“Zero, I love you with all of my heart. I am so grateful that you are my betrothed. I promise to love and cherish you always”.

“Jenny, you are my everything. I am so blessed to be your mate. I promise to always love and protect you”.

They exchanged rings and then kissed passionately. Zero lifted Jenny’s veil to kiss her. The audience cheered and clapped as they kissed. They were finally married, and nothing could make them happier. After the ceremony, the newlyweds walked out hand in hand. They were greeted by well-wishers, who congratulated them on their happy day. Zero and Jenny smiled and thanked everyone. They then went to the reception, where they danced and ate cake. It was a perfect day.

Zero and Jenny were so in love, and they could not believe that they were finally married. They were so happy to be together, and they knew that they would always be there for each other. They lived happily ever after in the kingdom, and everyone was thrilled to have them as their Matriarch and Councilman. That is... for the moment. For deep in the back of the crowd stood a jealous Margaret. Red with envy.

Everyone turned to see Margaret, standing on the table with a scepter in hand, wearing a crown. “I should be queen!” she shouted. “I’m the eldest!”

The other Theorians in the room looked at Margaret with a mixture of terror and annoyance. Screams came from many directions.

Margaret ignored them and continued to rant about how she should be the one to rule Mount Pioneer. From the shadows of the hall, out walked a slender and tall man. He looked familiar and yet different.

“Ladies and Gentleman, Theorians alike... meet my husband... Gordon!”
