Zaphira's Flame's

“Come on Z open your eyes! Don’t you dare leave me! Do you hear me?”

He kept yelling at her trying to stop the bleeding. Her heartbeat is rapidly fading, her demon half can’t heal her now, for she has lost too much blood for that. They destroyed the vampires, including the one that attacked Zaphira.

The clubhouse has been trashed, but that’s not there concern at the moment, it’s keeping Zaphira alive.

“You can, not leave me. I won’t let you.” But what can they do? There’s only one choice left; he gives her more blood, and turns her, or they let her die, and there is no way Alex will let that happen, not the girl he loves!

“I’m sorry baby this is the only way to save you, and I don’t care if you hate me for it, you’re not leaving me.” Lifting her up in his arms lifting his wrist to his mouth, and bit down, pressing it to her mouth and encouraging her to drink. Slowly she started swallowing, but never opening her eyes. Leaning down he set his chin on her head.

“Please don’t leave me! Other than Violet, you’re the only thing I have in this world. If I lose you, I don’t know what will happen to me.” She released his wrist and slumped against him, her heart slowing until it stopped.

“We have to get her out of here, take her home where she will be safe.”

Raphe said setting a hand on Alex’s shoulder, trying to comfort him.

“The car has been pulled around to the back door sir.” “Thank you Rolf. Alexander we need to move.”

“I’m going back with you! This is partially my fault. I never should have asked to stop. We should have just gone home.” Rolf said taking a step towards them. Raphe nodded. “Thank you Rolf.” The bodies have all been dealt with, the place is still trashed all over again, and Raphe gave Rolf money for the repairs. Standing Alex picked Zaphira up in his arms, Rolf locked up and everyone made their way for the back door.

Before they stepped out Rolf changed to wolf form so he could get into the back easier.

Getting Zaphira comfortably on the seat in his arms they drove off heading back to the safety of the house where everyone, especially Zaphira, if they have anything to say about it she will never be in danger again!

Cradling her close to his chest Alex said whispering in her ear. “Please hang on baby, just hang on a little longer, we’re heading home. Don’t leave me alone here. I love you so much!” Not caring who could be hearing him. Right now all that matters right now is Zaphira.

Carrying her into the house, Nick and Violet are on them in seconds. “What happened to her?” “She was attacked. I had to turn her to save her.”

Violet started sobbing, Nick took hold of her, and followed Alex to his room, where he put her in bed.

“Please baby. Just come back to me. Come back to us.” Alex took Violet in his arms, holding her tight, trying to comfort her, staring at the love of his life.
