You, Me And Our Genus Twins

Chapter 503

Madeline smiled. "Jake, feelings come from spending time with each other and getting to know one another. You and I have not
known each other for long, so it is only natural for you to be biased toward your best friend when something happens. That is just
human nature. So, there is no need for you to feel troubled, Jake. I understand."
The fact that Jake would take the initiative to tell her about such matters indicated that she was important to him. Therefore, she
was delighted and grateful.
It was impossible to be completely unbiased. Everyone had a preference or a bias over something or someone.
She was no different. Even though he was her parents' adopted son, when a dispute broke out between him and her office staff,
she would naturally be biased toward her employees and not him.
That was why she could understand his actions.
She did not blame him for anything, not in the slightest.
Last night, he had abandoned his dignity and pleaded on behalf of his friend. It had all been for the sake of his friend. Therefore,
she believed that he was a man who highly valued his friendships.
Not only did she not blame him, but she also admired him greatly.
Her voice was mirthful, and her tone was relaxed. He could see that she did not seem upset or resentful in the slightest. Hence,
he was relieved and vowed earnestly, "I have thoroughly reflected last night and realized my mistakes. I will never make the
same mistakes again. In the future, I will definitely treat you well... Maddie."
"Thank you, Jake," she replied sincerely. "I'm pleased to have an elder brother like you."
The conversation between them was pleasant.
After they ended the conversation on a happy note, Madeline went downstairs to see the children.
Joel dashed over at high speed and threw himself into her embrace the moment he laid his eyes on her. He stroked her stomach

and asked, "Mommy, do you have a little sister in your belly?"
She was rendered speechless by his question. Why is he asking such a shocking question so early in the morning? Is this really
appropriate?
"Do you, Mommy?" He raised his tiny head and looked up at her curiously.
His words left her at a loss for words again. Sebastian is right. I'm awful with words. It's such a simple question. So why am I
scrambling for words?
"Buddy, did you know that pregnancy takes ten months?" Sebastian smiled and ruffled Joel's hair. "Even if your mother has a
little sister in her stomach, you will need to wait ten months before she gives birth."
"I know that." Joel tilted his head to the side and stared at Sebastian. "I just wanted to know whether you planted a little sister in
Mommy's stomach. If you have already planted a little sister in Mommy's stomach, then she will give birth to my younger sister
after ten months!"
Sebastian stammered, "Uh... We don't know that yet."
They might not have used any contraceptives, but he did not know whether he had successfully gotten Madeline pregnant.
"Huh?" Joel stared at Sebastian in astonishment and exclaimed loudly, "I can't believe that there are things that even you don't
know, Daddy!"
He had always believed that his father was omniscient. Not only did his father know everything, but he could also do anything.
His father was the most amazing man in the world!
I thought Daddy knew everything! I can't believe that there's something he doesn't know. How strange!
Sebastian was rendered speechless by his reaction.
"You ask a lot of questions!" Quincy walked over and took Joel's hand. "Come, I'll show you the encyclopedia. You can find the

answers to your questions in the encyclopedia."
Then, he led Joel by the hand and ambled toward the living room.
"Okay, Aldo." Joel skipped alongside Quincy. "Aldo, I suddenly thought of something."
Quincy asked, "What is it?"
Joel giggled. "You sure have a lot of questions, kid!"
After that, he giggled even harder and continued, "Question, you sure have a lot of buddies!"
Quincy didn't even know where to begin with his brother's silly antics.
When Sebastian and Madeline saw the two siblings holding hands with each other, a similar expression of love and adoration
appeared on their faces.
Moreover, they happened to laugh at the same time when they heard the conversation between the two children.
They exchanged a glance upon seeing each other's amusement, and their smiles deepened.
She asked in concern, "Have Aldo and Buddy eaten?"
He replied, "Yeah, don't worry. They ate very well and had pretty large portions too."
"That's great." Then, she inquired, "Have you eaten?"
"I ate a little bit when I was with them." He smiled at her. "But I can eat a little more when I'm with you."
Madeline fell silent at his words.
It's just dinner. Why is he smiling like there's a double entendre?

She stared at him in confusion.
Sebastian smiled at her for a little while longer, then he leaned close to her ear and whispered, "I think there are many phrases
that can be very meaningful. For example... 'A feast for the eyes'. I've eaten so many things in my life, but you're still the most
delectable feast I've ever tasted!"
His words shocked her to the point that she could feel herself blushing in embarrassment.
I'm pretty sure Sebastian's personality has completely taken a turn! In the past, I would never have imagined that he would be
somebody so forward! For a person who looks so graceful and elegant... I can't believe somebody who looks more noble and
honorable than a prince would crack such a joke! So, that's why the saying 'never judge a book by its cover' makes so much
sense!
She stared at him incredulously with widened eyes as though she had heard something bizarre. Of course, it didn't help his case
when he merely shrugged his shoulders with a smile.
He felt that marrying his wife was the best decision he had made in his life. Not only did his wife come with two adorable sons,
but his wife herself was also wholly fascinating.
Before Sebastian married Madeline, he never knew that life could be so meaningful and interesting.
There was no need to do anything complicated. Just by saying a few significant words, he would be able to see the lively
expression on her face.
Her eyes, in particular, were lovely. They said that 'the eyes were the window to the soul'. There was no doubt that her soul was
as stunning as her eyes. Sometimes he would stare into her eyes in wonder as they captivated him.
I thought Daddy knew everything! I can't believe that there's something he doesn't know. How strange!
Madeline's eyes would widen as she stared at him incredulously whenever he mentioned something playful. Her reaction made
her look stunned, like a frightened kitten. It was absolutely adorable.

Sebastian couldn't resist running his fingers through her hair gently. "Maddie, you're getting more adorable by the day."
His sudden compliment left her flustered as she felt the tips of her ears heat up.
Adorable? Shouldn't that phrase be used to praise my sons instead?
Madeline's facial features were exquisite under the morning light. Her skin was as fair as snow; her black eyes were as pure as a
clear spring; her nose was straight; her lips were as tender and full as cherry blossoms. Her beauty was worthy of being made
into a painting or a song if he were particularly eloquent.
So, he could not stop himself as he leaned down to steal a kiss from her.
She froze for a moment. Then, when she returned to her senses, she immediately looked around as though she had done
something wrong.
There are bodyguards in the yard! Plus, there are so many!
Her face slowly crimsoned at the thought.
"Don't worry. I'm simply kissing my wife. There's nothing wrong with that." When Sebastian saw how her eyes shifted around
guiltily, her reaction made the smile on his face deepen further. "Although there are people in the yard, none of them were
looking at us. Even if they see us, they will be happy that we are in such a loving relationship."
She couldn't refute his words.
Fine. The truth is... I might not be stupid and bad with words after all. It's just that he has already said everything that is needed
to say, so there's nothing left for me.
Throughout the morning, the entire family enjoyed harmonious family time with each other.
In the afternoon, they rushed to the cemetery to pay their respects to their ancestors under Philip's lead.

After they cleaned the graves of the Hart Family ancestors, Philip stood in front of his wife's tombstone with complicated
emotions swirling in his heart.
The one thing that worried his wife the most when she was on her deathbed was their son.
Everything was smooth sailing now. His son had since taken a wife and fathered children, and his lovely grandchildren were
intelligent and cute. In fact, he would miss them dearly despite seeing them less than a day ago.
His daughter-in-law was also beautiful and sensible. She was a reasonable and kind woman who was far too good for his foolish
son.
More importantly, the couple had a healthy and loving relationship. He was confident that his wife in heaven would feel at ease
after seeing everything.
Sebastian held Madeline's hand and knelt to pray in front of his mother's tombstone. Likewise, the two children obediently knelt
beside their parents.
"Mom, I brought my wife and children to come and visit you today." He gazed at the photo of his mother on her tombstone and
smiled, but his eyes were filled with tears. "Mom, I'm very happy now. You can rest in peace now and watch over us from
heaven!"
