Chapter 15: Cherokee Claim's Dove
Today is the day that Cherokee is going to claim me. I have been over at the clubhouse a few times the past week and Rain has found a few of the members that she just loves. When she is there she sits on their laps and they carry her around. I have my wedding dress hanging in the closet and I am wearing a summer dress and sandals with my hair hanging down my back for the claiming today.
I was at the clubhouse in Cherokee's bedroom. I had just finished my make up when Donna walked in.
" After the claiming we were having a BBQ."
" It's time she said."
I followed her down the hallway and into the bar. I was met by Cherokee he took my hand and we walked in front to stand in front of the bar. It was quiet.
I looked down at Dove and said, "Dove the first time I saw you in the restaurant I thought you were the most beautiful woman I ever saw."
" My heart started beating so fast I told myself she is the woman I want to claim, the woman I want to marry. I Cherokee claim you, Dove, by biker law as my wife and woman. Will you accept my claim and wear my property cut and have my tattoo on your shoulder?"
I looked at Cherokee and told him.
"The day you saved Rain from being hit by that car and I looked into your eyes. I felt my heart beat faster. I felt like I belonged to you. So I Dove accept you Cherokee as my man and husband by biker law. I will wear your property cut and have your tattoo put on my shoulder."
Temper handed Cherokee the cut and he put it on me. He turned and looked at me and then leaned down and kissed my lips. Why did they tingle I wondered to myself? Temper said bring the chair.
I watched as Cherokee took off his cut and shirt and handed them to me. He sat down in the chair and then Tats started tattoo my name on his back across his shoulder blades. I saw that he had a Cherokee Indian tattoo.
After it was finished I handed him the shirt and his cut back and then I sat down in the chair. This is the reason I wore a sundress. Tats then tattooed an American Indian Tattoo on my shoulder and then the property of Cherokee around it. When he finished Temper said.
"It is official. Let's go out back and eat."
I had not noticed that Cherokee had Rain daughter of Cherokee tattooed on his shoulder. He did not show me his right shoulder while he was getting my name done. We had sat down at the table and was eating and enjoying the fun. We watched the kids running around and then Rain dragged a little boy over and said,
"Mommy, this is Kevin."
" When I grow up he is going to claim me."
I smiled and said "he is going to claim you, is he?"
" Yes, he is."
" What do you say about that Kevin?"
" I love her."
We watched as they ran off to play. Maybe one day he will claim Rain who knows what the future holds. While we were watching the kids play a few prospects had taken Cherokee's belongings over and sat the boxes on the porch. Cherokee will be coming home with Rain and me.
Beth walked over and hugged me and Cherokee. "I am happy that you two met each other Dove."
" Uncle Cherokee needed a good woman. And you needed a good man."
" Wait are you related?"
" Yes didn't mom tell you?"
" No, she didn't."
" Sandy is my sister Cherokee said."
I gasped.
"Now I know why I thought she looked familiar."
" You do look a bit like each other."
Cherokee said. "You might want to go upstairs and put some shorts on."
" I know the kids are planning a water balloon fight."
I ran up to his room and changed into tennis shoes, shorts, and a tee-shirt then ran back down the stairs.
Donna grabbed me and Beth and we followed the kids to where the balloons were hidden. We got behind Beast, Cherokee, and Temper and slammed water balloons on their chests. Then we watched as all three slowly turned and looked at us.
Rain and the little ones yelled, "Run, run for your lives." We all started running and grabbed more balloons and we started throwing them.
I was laughing so hard that when I turned around I hit a chest. I looked up and saw Cherokee looking down at me. "Oh, shit" I said starting to run backward when he smashed two water balloons on me and I fell on the ground in the mud.
Then the little kids came out from behind the trees and threw the balloons at Cherokee "yelling save the bride, save the bride from the bad man."
I was laughing so hard from the little kids that every time I tried to stand up my foot slipped in the mud. I looked up and saw Cherokee looking down at me grinning. I saw the balloons behind his back in his hands and I rolled to try and get away from him. The next thing I knew Donna was sliding in the mud with Beast behind her and she hit Cherokee's legs and knocked him to the ground next to me.
I tried to get up when all the little kids jumped on Cherokee and Beast "yelling run, run while we hold them down."
Of course Beast and Cherokee let Donna and I get up and run. They could have thrown the kids off them but they didn't.
"We saved them."
Then the kids ran away and stood next to Donna and me.
Donna and I watched as Beast and Cherokee stood up and as we turned to run Temper slammed water balloons on our heads. He started laughing at the looks on our face. Then we were picked up and thrown over the Beast and Cherokee's shoulders. The other club members were laughing so hard and taking pictures.
We had mud from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet. Then we screamed as Temper used the water hose and hosed as much mud off as he could. We started shivering and found ourselves carried into the clubhouse and to the bedrooms. Cherokee shut the door and walked into the bathroom where he turned on the water and took his wallet and keys and phone out of his pocket and put them on the counter.
Then he dragged me into the shower and washed as much mud off as he could. He bent down and untied my shoes and threw them out on the floor. Then he took my shirt off and my shorts. He kicked his boots off and took his jeans and shirt off and threw them in a pile. He washed my hair and put conditioner in it and then washed his hair before stepping out of the shower and taking his boxers off and wrapping a towel around him.
I took my bra and panties off and threw them in the pile before wrapping a towel around me. I walked into the bedroom and grabbed a clean pair of panties and bra and walked into the bathroom and put them on. Then I walked out and slipped my dress over my head.
I turned and saw that Cherokee had no shirt on but was putting on clean socks and dry boots. He stood up and looked over at me and grinned. I picked up the hairbrush and brushed my hair and braided it. I have to thank Donna for knowing ahead of time what I was going to need.
