Wolf kind

The next morning was quiet a little too quiet. I got up took a shower, then got dressed in some shorts and a sports bra. As I was headed downstairs, I heard a loud bang then an aggressive growl. I ran rest of the way downstairs. Only to be met by a wolf from each pack fighting. "That's enough all of you" I yelled causing everyone to stop and look my way. Adam and Austin came running from their office but didn't let anyone see them. I made my way to the 4 wolves in the middle of the room. I looked at Louis "really you should know better than to instigate another wolf from a different pack. Especially when you don't know what they are capable of. On top of that your one of our hunters, you should be on of the ones to set the example of what wolves should do. You have cubs show them what's right from wrong." I said Louis nodded and apologized to the other three. "Now for the rest of you go run all day, your packs included" I said

As the packs were dispersing I stopped Louis "you have extra ground watch for a week got it" I said with a straight face. Louis turned around "yes luna, please forgive me" he said/asked I nodded my head and walked to the training grounds. When I walked outside all packs were running I turned to the exercise course we have and saw my trackers. "Why aren't you guys running" I asked "because we were outside when the fight broke out" Jackson said. "And your point I told all packs to run today so go" I said and they started to make their way to the others.

Around 12 I let everyone have a break. The packs had given in about an hour ago and gave up on fighting with me. "Alright everyone I have decided that you have ran enough for today, but that does not mean training is over" I said. Some wolves sighed in relief for not having to run all day like I originally said. I split them up into groups a mix of each pack. There were 6 groups 20, I had them do the obstacle course my pack does on a daily basis. Some wolves even asked to go back to running.

"Everyone gets food at 3 but if anyone stops for any reason lunch will be pushed back by 10 minutes" I said. All I got in return was yes luna or yes ma'am. I stood there for the next hour when I looked at my watch it read 1:30. I smiled and headed to the kitchen "hey rose" I said to the chef "hey Alara oh I mean luna" she said causing the bith of us to laugh. Rose was one of the first wolves I met when I got here. Rose and I bonded almost instantly. I looked at rose and said "just cook there lunch with the rest of the packs. I'm going to have them come inside to eat today" rose nodded her head understanding why.

"So how bad is it supposed to be" she asked "we don't know" Adam said walking up to us. "All we do know is that we need to have everyone eat by 3, and we need some wolves to run to the store" I said everyone nodded in agreement just then one of the wolves from outside came running in. "Luna alphas one of my wolves got hurt" he said out of breath. We all walked out side to see a wolf laying on the ground in pure pain. Austin picked him up and carried him to the pack doctor.

I started to have wolves pick up the equipment and put it up in the shed behind the pack house. "Ok everyone come inside and eat" I said. Some wolves looked at their watches then at me realizing it's only 2:26. But they still did as they were told and went eat.

Once everyone was done eating Adam, Austin, and I gathered everyone in the living room as best as we could. "Alright as some of you may know there is a storm headed our way and no we don't know hiw long it will last. So we need teams to go get things for the pack" Austin said. One of the wolves spoke up "if we don't know how long it will last or how bad it will be why don't we just stay inside". "It's because we don't know how long it will last or how bad it will be that we need teams to go out and get supplies that we will need" Adam said. "And for those of you that dont live here in the pack house we need all of you to go home and get your families and anything that you will need and come back here, at least for the night and tomorrow" I said.

"So who will go out a get water?" Austin asked a few wolves raised their hands. "Alright four, split up in groups of two and go to different stores." Adam said. "Next we need someone to get food mainly canned" Austin said once again four wolves raised their hands, "once again I need you to split up into groups of two and go to different stores get as much as you can" Adam said. "Lastly we need fire wood" I said six wolves raised their hands "ok split in two teams one team got to the woods the other go to the stores" I said. With that everyone left to do as they were told "the rest of help us get the pack house prepared we have exactly 2 hours" Austin said.

I went to check on the cubs who were in the kitchen with rose "hey how is everyone doing" I asked with a smile "their doing good we were just about to make cookies for the pack weren't we children" rose said and the cubs shook their heads. I smiled "want some help" I asked and all the cubs said yes. A few moments later a few families that live in their own homes came in the kitchen "what now luna" they asked "leave the cubs with me ill try and keep them calm" I said just them thunder came crashing down scaring the cubs "hey hey its ok look at me" I said and all the cubs looked at me "there is nothing to be scared of me, and alphas, and your mommy and daddy's will keep you safe ok" I told them with a smile. The cubs nodded and hugged me then got back to making cookies for the pack. I turned back to the parents that just walked in "ladies can you help with finding blankets and pillows, and gentlemen can you go find Austin and Adam and they will tell you what else needs to get done" I asked. They all nodded and walked away.

An hour later Adam and Austin found me "we are done with everything"austin said "we have done all that we could" Adam continued. I nodded my head and Austin wrapped his arms around me "now we wait for the guys to come back" I said looking at the pack doors. A few minutes later the wolves sent out start to come in "we have everything we were told to get" one of them said. "Good bring the food and water into the kitchen, the wood by the fire place" I said. The wolves did as told, I went into kitchen to help put everything up. Rose looked at me "now what" she asked "Now we wait" I said.
