Chapter 31
We’ve left the damn planet behind.
Hades and I collide as I jump into him, exploding with joy.
I wrap my arms around his giant form. First, it’s just a hug of pure relief. He squeezes me hard, and then a silence is quick to settle between us.
As I look up, while standing flush with him, Hades’ fingers rise to push my hair behind my small human ears, while I embrace the strength and gentle touch from such a big soldier.
I exhale heavily and lean my chin into him, my smile uncontrollable.
My cheeky hands run down over his clothes, looking for the latches to his trousers.
Hades swiftly places an authoritative finger on my forehead and pushes me back, trailing his finger down between my eyes, over my nose and onto my lips. He shushes me while with his other hand he pulls out his cock.
I open my mouth like I’m about to pant, but I quickly shut my lips and pretend I’m fine, as he helps me undress.
Hades pulls my oversized shirt over my head with one tug – while my pants pretty much fall to my feet, only held up by me stuffing the ends of the shirt into the waist band, to fill it up.
I’m naked in a naughty second, finally free of the stinky old clothes, as I step out of the pile while my eyes focus in on Hades’ cock and balls.
I smirk as I reach for Hades’ shaft, and he slyly side steps from me, watching me screw up my nose as he remains out of reach.
I didn’t want to play games right now. I huff in frustration, and with a corresponding smile Hades comes straight back for me. He lifts me up by my waist and turns me into the wall adjacent to the sinks. I lift my wanting legs outward to wrap them around his waist, while Hades slowly slides my back down the wall, until the tip of his cock teases my dripping pussy.
Easy does it.
“Is this going to kill you? I hope not,” Hades whispers over my face, humoured and finally able to speak.
I laugh and shake my head – cocky.
He shrugs with my reply and plunges me all the way over his shaft, watching my expression turn from arrogance, to pleasure – to… “Oh, shit,” I gasp out, while Hades pulls out a little bit – then slams back in, hearing my body suck him in. He’s giant. And it feels fucking amazing.
He fucks me against the wall, holding my neck firmly in one hand to keep my chin up – so he can read me.
I smile and nod, while my pussy squeezes and I watch him wince.
I want to test him too, but Hades has other ideas.
He leans down his face to mine, and his lips hover so close. Too close.
But his green eyes are the orbs I’m taken by.
It’s a different experience all together from looking into Skye’s hostile blue gaze. Hades has advantage, and other emotions – totally unique. He’s more. He’s a Shade, an Alpha, an Omega. All kinds of Wolf. But still very human.
“You’re perfect,” I blurt it out, while my body is full of him inside me.
And Hades just hesitates.
“Don’t make me nervous – I don’t like expectations,” Hades growls over my nose, and I take it as a joke, until I see the steel glint in his eyes, wavering with sudden anxiety.
Oh. He’s serious!
“Oh, you’re not pretending –” I try to change the tune, and Hades shuts me up by finally kissing me. I taste him, as he fucks me deep and slow, just like his tongue delving into my mouth.
I welcome it, and I feel the heat of him warming me up – coaxing an orgasm forward.
We’ve both just been through a near death experience, launching out of the Genesis atmosphere and surviving – so the sex is like lightning through the system.
I move my hips with his thrusts, trying to take him even closer.
I’m first.
My whole body explodes around Hades’ strength while fucking me steady against the wall.
“Don’t stop,” I breathe into him even as I orgasm hard around him, and it doesn’t change his pace.
“I just started, little worm,” Hades looks at me like I’m an idiot, while I shake and tremble into the cold wall, my head lolling back, “…did you cum already, Ryder?” Hades asks again, curious. I look at him like he’s the idiot now, “Interesting,” Hades fucks me a bit harder and hears me whimper, high pitched, “You understand you’re free?” Hades asks me suddenly.
“It’s the only time I don’t want to be free,” I gasp out, moaning, “When I’m with you like this, Hades.”
“Luna,” Hades puts his lips to my ear, “I’ll keep you safe. Always.”
I close my eyes as I gulp and I think too much.
“We don’t know what will happen when we get back to Earth,” I whisper it with worry, “…and I am no real Luna anymore…”
“Even if we’re doomed,” Hades drawls romantically, while he slow fucks me and his lips hover over mine, “Right now, I’m just looking at you. Thinking how much I –” I catch his mouth in a desperate kiss again before he says it out loud.
The words feel cursed.
I’d rather kiss him than hear it.
Thinking how much I love you.
Perhaps because a different face has already flashed through my mind.
And it terrifies me that I can’t erase him. Especially in this moment.
Later
Genesis looms below us.
Opular is at the captain’s window alongside Hades, who holds me in front of him, his arms over my shoulders, claiming me close and out of reach from the Imperator.
“Say goodbye,” Hades murmurs under his breath, “Forever.”
“Bye,” I say it half-heartedly, I don’t have much sympathy for Genesis. The orange planet was nothing but pain to me. In every sense.
It moves fast below us, or more likely – we move fast around it.
I ask, quietly, “Are we charged for the worm hole, Opular?”
He’s so quiet.
Hades and I both look toward him.
“Why the doom and gloom?” Hades asks Opular.
“Modelling shows we have a 50% chance of a successful return if we transport to the atmosphere. But we have a 100% chance if we do it another way,” Opular looks at me, “If we purposefully crash land.”
“Wait. What’s the 50% in relation too?” I ask.
“That we’ll have any power when we arrive, outside the atmosphere… that is catastrophic, for us,” Opular waits for me to catch on, “It’s better if we are transported into the Earth’s atmosphere first.”
“That’s illegal,” I gulp, “It’s banned, it’s dangerous, you can’t make a wormhole into Earth’s sky – you can disrupt the weather over the entire planet.”
“We can risk the normal procedure,” Hades murmurs, and looks over my head, while I pull away and find a seat to take, away from them.
I need to think about this.
“It’s all risk,” Opular’s response is edging to anger, “In my opinion we’re more likely to fail.”
“What does a crash landing look like, exactly?” Hades asks, clearly nervous.
“You go to the middle of the spaceship and find a safe place,” I murmur it, “And hope you don’t die on impact when the ship explodes.”
“It won’t be on fire, we have almost no fuel left,” Opular seems hopeful.
Hades says nothing, but he also seems hopeful now.
They both look at me for the answer.
“What would the Luna do?” Hades asks. Yeah, put it all on me.
“Risk freezing,” I say immediately.
“Xrat is not on this ship,” Hades speaks of my beast, out of the blue, “None of our Beasts are – although I’m without one entirely. You need to live for him. He will be transported with Skye.”
“You know how to save your own skin, like always,” I speak through my teeth, while Hades tries to erase his smugness, and Opular is quietly expectant as I finally conclude, “…fine, we’re crash landing into Earth.”
It was worth the risk.
Not only would I have a better chance to see Xrat again, but Hades, Opular and I were Earths’ only true hope at surviving the invasion of Genesis. We could help the humans and gain their trust and respect.
We had a lot to do – a lot to live up to. But there was nothing else left but to do it – and to succeed in protecting Earth from a world ending war. Any other future, beyond succeeding in such a mission, was too terrifying to think about.
