of Theo, her, and me standing in front of the house.
“Is that Papa, me, and you?”
“Yes, this is Papa, this is you, and this is me standing beside you,” she explained.
“This is so good! We’ll hang this drawing in your room.”
“Really? I really want to put this drawing on the wall,” she said, looking at me with her bright
eyes.
“We’ll stick this on the wall.”
“Hop on your chair. Brielle made your favorite chicken curry.”
“I was craving chicken curry. I was telling Uncle Mick about it.”
I laughed and looked at Mick, who stepped out to answer his call.
“We’ll be back after your lunch. We had to meet the main men,” Sherry said.
“Main men?” I ask her.
“New men came to work, and we have to take care of that since Blake isn’t here.”
“Okay. Call me if anything happens,” I said.
“Okay.”
Brielle served the food and left while my mind returned to the court issue.
“Flower, why aren’t you eating? The food’s getting cold.”
“Sorry, I’ll finish my food.”
“What are you thinking? And where did Papa go?”
“I’m thinking about how good this food is, and Papa went to work.”
She shook her head. “Don’t lie, flower. I know you don’t like the food. If you did, you would’ve finished it before me. But you were thinking about something.”
I forgot how smart Thea was sometimes. She understood everything but didn’t ask.

I waited for Theo. He was in his office having a conversation with Mr. Shantanu. Theo had called me to say that the court had ordered us to bring Thea to the next hearing.
I looked up when the door opened and Theo walked in. I didn’t say anything as he wandered towards me.

I waited for Theo. He was in his office having a conversation with Mr. Shantanu. Theo had called me to say that the court had ordered us to bring Thea to the next hearing.
I looked up when the door opened and Theo walked in. I didn’t say anything as he wandered towards me.
“Did you eat? How are you feeling now?” he asked.
“Yes, I ate and I’m feeling better. Did you eat?”
“Yes, I had lunch with my lawyers. The court hearing is on Wednesday. They have to be present as the court wants to ask a few questions. The judge will make a ruling based on Thea’s
answers.”
“I have never told her about her mother before. I’m not sure how she is going to react to it. She’s too young to know things like this.
“She would be broken if she learned that I’m not her biological father. I don’t want to break her heart,” he said.
I smiled sadly. “I know, but this is important. We have to tell her the truth. Even if you are not her biological father, you are her father.
“You’ve been protecting her and taking care of her, and now you’re fighting for her. You’re more than a father figure in her life. She loves you, and no matter what, she will always love you.”
He didn’t smile but kept looking at me. “Don’t worry, we’ll pass this stage and she’ll understand
us.”

JASMINE
I watched as Thea splashed water on Theo. I soaked up the sun’s rays while they played in the swimming pool.
“Are you going to get in or not?” Theo asked, holding Thea in his arms.
“You guys play, and I will join you two later. I need sunlight first,” I said. It had been a bit cold for the past three days and it rained hard yesterday.
“Okay.”
I removed the floral shrug I wore and placed it beside the towels.
Then I took off my scrunchie, leaving my hair down.
Theo was teaching Thea how to swim.
I carefully wandered towards the pool. I learned that this mansion had two pools, one in the northern wing and one in the southern wing.
The southern wing pool was ten times bigger than the one we used. “Beautiful…” I heard Theo say. I smiled, held the railing, and carefully got down the stairs.
“Flower, your hair matches your bikini,” Thea said, giggling.
“Haha, do you like it?” I asked her.
“Yes, you look beautiful, like Papa said.”
I looked at her papa, who was shining in the sunlight. “You’re glowing, and your tattoos are standing out in the sunlight,” I said.
“I should radiate a bit if you are shining bright,” he said, wrapping his arm around my waist.
I took a dip to wet my hair, then started swimming to relax my body. The water was so calming.
“Come here,” I told Theo.
He slowly walked to where I stood. The water splashed me, but he kinda looked so hot that I couldn’t take my eyes away from him.
“You’re hot and it’s too distracting,” I said teasingly. He raises his brow.

“You are hot. Should we go inside and have a session?” he whispered as he wrapped his arms around my waist, I stepped closer, placing my hand on his chest.
How about having a session over here? In the pool?” I whispered.
“You want to have a session over here?”
“Why not?” I asked.
“Your wish is my command,” he said.
“Thea?”
“Isn’t it naptime?” He smiled while I shook my head.
“Swim while I drop her off at her room with Sherry and Mick,” he said.
“Okay, babe.”
“What are you doing?” I asked Theo.
“Taking your picture,” he said.
“Why?”
“Because you are beautiful and I want to store this memory.”
He stood near the pool’s edge and took more pictures while I randomly posed.
“Get in the water.”
He placed the camera on the pool lounger before getting into the water and swam over to me. “We won’t be caught on camera doing nasty things, right?” I asked.
“We would, but don’t worry. No one will be able to see the nasty things we’ll be doing.”
“How?”
“I will delete the footage for you.‘
“Delete it after emailing me.”
“Why? You want to keep a sex tape of us?” he asked. My eyes slightly widened and he started laughing.
“What? Why are you surprised to hear that? Isn’t it called a sex tape?” he asked.
“Yeah… Don’t send it to me. Just delete it. I don’t want anyone using it against us.”
