Chapter Warming 60

Chapter 60

“What do you want to talk about?” Spencer asked, narrowing his eyes when Lucille remained silent for

a while.

Lucille looked at him seriously. “Spencer, even though I agreed to live with you and we are legally married, there are some rules you need to follow.”

“Alright, go ahead,” he replied nonchalantly, not arguing.

“First, you must take your pajamas into the bathroom and put them on before coming out,” she said firmly, as if daring him to refuse.

She muttered to herself internally, fearing she might lose control if this happened a few more times.

“Second, you must wear pajamas to bed.”

“Third, we each stay on our side of the bed. I’ll put a pillow in the middle to mark the line.”

At this, Spencer’s dark eyes dimmed a little.

“Fourth, I’m not a morning person. I need to sleep until 8:00 am. If you wake up earlier, do not disturb me.”

“Got it. Anything else?” Spencer asked, his gentle eyes fixed on her. A glimmer of mischief flickered in his gaze, then quickly vanished.

Lucille thought for a moment and then shook her head. “No, that’s all.”

“Okay, you get some rest. I have a few things to handle. I’ll be back soon.” Spencer stood up and naturally pulled the covers over her.

Lucille watched his movements, pondering how he could be so relaxed and comfortable. Wasn’t he

nervous at all?

She looked up at him and asked, “Spencer, don’t you feel uncomfortable with all of this?”

Spencer looked at Lucille. Her long black hair fell to one side. Her natural, unblemished skin accentuated her stunning features. Her eyes flickered with a playful charm, and her long lashes beneath them fluttered like a soft brush.

In the next moment, Spencer leaned in, and Lucille felt a shadow fall over her. She blinked as she looked at Spencer, who was now so close to her.

Spencer’s dark eyes had long lashes that looked like a dense forest. They seemed deep and mysterious.

“Because it’s you, I’m comfortable,” Spencer said, gently ruffling her hair before giving her a light kiss

on the forehead. “Don’t lock the door. Rest well.”

Lucille watched him disappear through the door. His words made her feel as if she was falling for him

all over again.

In the study, Spencer started working. He did have tasks to handle, but he also wanted to give Lucille

The next day, Lucille woke up groggily.

Hmm? What was this?

She reached out and felt something solid. Why was it warm?

Feeling puzzled, she slowly opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a breathtakingly handsome

face.

Spencer’s long lashes lay close to his fair skin, and his high nose and slightly pursed lips added to his allure. The stubble on his jaw gave him a touch of rugged charm.

Lucille couldn’t help but marvel at how perfect his looks were.

“Sweetie, do you like what you see?” Spencer’s deep voice teased, cutting into Lucille’s moment of admiration.

In the next second, she found herself gazing into a pair of intense, dark eyes. Oh no, she had been caught again!

Before she could react, Spencer’s arms wrapped around her waist, pinning her in place. No matter how she struggled, she couldn’t break free from his grip.
