That dream was so real
Samantha tried to get out of the dream many times, but she was pulled back.
It was dawn the next day.
Samantha’s face was full of sweat. She sat up abruptly from the bed and gasped for air.
That was her first dream in years. She thought. “Is this a sign? Or is it a clue from Granny?”
After Samantha got out of bed and changed her clothes, she opened the door and saw Adrienne with a serving tray.
“Why are you in Mom’s room? How could you stay here just because Mom so? How shameless!” Adrienna yelled.
Adrienne’s smile disappeared and she gritted her teeth angrily when she saw Samantha.
Her voice could be heard throughout the floor.
“This is my mom’s room, not your mom’s room. How am I shameless? On the contrary, after what happened last night, why don’t you show some restraint? Aren’t you afraid of disturbing the Vanderbilt family peace by being noisy?” Samantha retorted.
Her words rendered Adrienne speechless. She couldn’t say a word for a long time, so Samantha couldn’t be bothered to talk to her and wanted to move out of the way.
Adrienne’s eyes flashed with viciousness. When Samantha turned around, Adrienne held onto the tray with one hand -picked up the milk, and splashed it at Samantha while scowling at her.
