Unexpected Mates ~ Book One

Chapter 36

Kian’s candlelit room invited them in, the vining plants around the bed frames looking particularly beautiful under the dim light.

“How is this place still standing?” Sylvie asked from Kian’s arms. The walk from the hall proved too challenging on her wobbly legs.

Elias clicked his tongue and pulled his tie and top buttons free, placing the strip of cloth over the doorknob. He crossed the room and sat next to the window, arms crossed again.

“Fire hazards everywhere,” Sylvie grumbled quietly as Kian placed her on the pristinely made bed.

Before she could mumble any more words, Kian’s knee pressed between her legs, and his fingers traced the dress sleeves on her shoulders. His brow rose, and she nodded, eager for him to help her undress. It had been so long.

So fucking long.

With the softest pressure, Kian guided her milky straps down, letting her beautifully decorated breasts free— the lace lingerie a gift from one of Queen Katarina’s ladies-in-waiting.

Kian’s warm sigh brushed across her nipples, and she bit her lip as she leaned back, lifting her hips for him to remove the rest of the gown. Due to their previous encounter, she was bare from the waist down, and Kian’s eyes flashed delightedly.

“You’re beautiful,” he said, rubbing his hands down her sides and thumbing her swollen clit. “So wet for me.”

“Yes,” she sighed, grinning up at his mischievous eyes. God, she was so glad his playfulness was returning. She thought she may have lost him forever, but the way his hungry stare raked across her shooed away that thought.

While his hands stroked along her legs, Sylvie tilted her head to look back at her other, insanely restrained mate. Elias wore a mask of indifference, but guilt still swirled in her belly. She turned back to Kian and sat up, whispering in his ear, “Can Elias play too?”

Kian’s cheek pressed against hers, and she could feel his smile. He nodded, and a thrill shot through her.

“Elias...” she called with a singsong tone, fluttering her lashes at him over her bare shoulder. She was being provocative. Bratty even, but she wanted him too. Desperately.

“It is your night to be with Kian.” His answer held a finality that made Sylvie pout.

“I know,” she whined, turning more so he could see her front. “But you’re my mate too, and we both don’t want you to be left out.”

“Sylvie,” he warned.

“Please, Elias,” she begged, crawling across the bed to him. “I want you to take control tonight.”

His eyes flashed crimson.

“Tell me what to do while Kian fucks me.”

His body shot from the window seat faster than Sylvie could comprehend, his hand gripping her neck and squeezing just enough to draw her soft mewls.

“Get on your knees.”

She quickly sat on her heels and bit her lip waiting for his next request.

“Lie on your stomach and arch your back,” he commanded. He released his grip, and she followed his orders, wiggling her bare ass at Kian, who slapped it softly. She smiled over her shoulder as he pulled his cock free, already painfully hard.

Kian pressed his tip against her entrance, coating himself in her wetness before taking an exploratory plunge past her lips.

“Fucking hell,” all three groaned at once. Kian grinned, and Sylvie giggled at their identical responses. It was nice to know they were all on the same wavelength.

Kian stopped her laughing by slamming himself up to the hilt into her cunt, before wrapping his hand around her thigh to stimulate her clit again.

He rocked against her, letting her stretch around him. The pleasure was immediate and hot.

Sylvie spun, her hands bunching the bed covers as he continued hitting every pleasure spot inside her. “Fuck.”

Her eyes flitted up to the imposing view of her Vampire mate. He smirked down at her as Kian’s thrusts grew steady, and his hands moved to her hips.

“You take it so well,” Elias said, licking his lower lip. The light of the flickering candles made him seem larger in the space— more dominant.

She almost lost herself in the glowing pools of his eyes when Kian’s fingers trailed along her back. The soft touch was a sharp contrast to the slapping pressure on her sex.

Kian paused, stroking at her mid back, taking the opportunity to pinch the clasp of her bra until it flung off and freed her breasts from confinement. She quickly pulled the lacy item off and threw it to the floor.

Kian’s groans filled the space, spurring her own. As she moaned, she reached for Elias, wanting him closer, but he stepped out of reach, smirking down at her.

“Touch yourself for me, kitten.”

Careful not to interfere with Kian’s perfect tempo, she slid her hand beneath her and found her clit, quickly circling right over it. The friction was almost too much, too sensitive, and the urge to pee hit her.

She stopped her finger movements and rocked against Kian, hoping she wouldn’t spontaneously pee on him. He might like that kind of thing, but she wasn’t there yet.

“Did I say stop?” Elias’ eyes narrowed as he met her eyes.

Sylvie’s eyes widened. “It’s too much.”

“What’s too much?”

Kian squeezed her ass again as his thrusts increased pace, and the sensation returned.

She whined and moaned, turning to bite the blankets to hold her screams before Elias gripped her neck.

“Answer me.”

“It feels like I’m gonna pee!” she moaned, covering her flaming cheeks with a trembling hand.

Elias pulled it away and made her meet his eyes. “You won’t. What you're feeling is what humans call squirting. It is not urine.”

She nodded. Fern sometimes mentioned squirting, but it sounded made up and messy as fuck. She wasn’t about to douse Kian and the bed they were about to sleep in with her ‘not-pee-that-is-basically-pee.’

Her fingers gently tapped her core again as Kian’s rhythm slowed and deepened, his cock caressing every inch of her quivering walls.

Elias traced a finger down her cheek. “Ask for permission before you come. I want to hear you beg for it.”

His command pulled a moan from Sylvie and Kian, the waves of pleasure and excitement rolling off him and through her. He was turned on by Elias’ words too.

As the pressure built, Sylvie’s whole body trembled, the anticipation for her second orgasm of the night distracting her from actually feeling the rise in pressure until she was suddenly right there, hanging from the edge of the cliff. “Fuck. I need to come, Elias. Please!”

He paused. A second. She almost screamed, withholding herself. Two.

“Please!” she screamed.

“Come for me,” he purred, and she did. Over and over, she clenched on Kian, his full-body release filling her as she moaned and squirmed.

Nothing could compare to this high. Her mind shut off every thought as she rode the undulating squeezing of her walls.

Kian detached from her, and she remained frozen, ass in the air and face buried in the sheets as the aftershocks still tingled down her inner thighs.

Gentle hands turned her body onto her back, and a cool, damp cloth cleansed her heat. The icy temperature soothed her, and she let her legs fall to the side to give them more access.

Sylvie’s eyes fluttered shut, and she wasn’t sure who was touching her and cleaning her up. The tenderness warmed her, even if her body was so tired she couldn’t manage a smile.

A soft rushing sound signalled the shower turning on, and Sylvie turned on her side, burying her face deeper in the bedding. A washcloth would do until morning. She was far too tired to shower.

“Don’t get too relaxed,” Elias said with a soft chuckle. “Kian has quite the appetite.”

Sylvie shuddered and shook her head tiredly. “No more. Tomorrow maybe,” she slurred.

“Don’t expect me to go this easy on you on our wedding night,” he whispered gruffly, kissing her temple. “You’ll have ten orgasms at least.”

She reached to him and squeezed the first part of him she could find. From a brief foundling, she assumed she had his shoulder.

“I love you,” she mumbled. She blinked a few times to see his response after seconds of silence ticking by.

His eyes darkened, and hers fluttered shut once more.

“I love you, Sylvie Hart. More than life itself.”

“Don’t get all sentimental on me. I still don’t like you very much, Hart.”

Sylvie shook her head with a tight-lipped smile before playfully slapping Kerensa’s arm.

“Shut up, Kerensa. You’ll miss me.”

Kerensa rolled her eyes in response and nodded at her brother, standing at Sylvie’s side.

“Be careful. And don’t come back here.” Her eyes flitted towards the Queens’ retreating back, and Kian nodded.

“I trust you’ll let me know if I’m needed?”

Kerensa nodded and stuck out her arm towards Elias, who stood on Sylvie’s other side. Elias clasped her wrist, and they shook, holding each other’s gaze for a few moments before detaching. Neither spoke a word, but their shared message sent warmth through Sylvie.

She smiled at Elias’ serious face and bumped her shoulder into him playfully. He frowned down at her, raising his brow.

“Nothing,” she replied, threading her fingers through his. She couldn’t wait to have his ring on her finger. “Is it time?”

He nodded, and she turned to face Kian.

“Is it gonna be as bad as the last time?”

Kian shook his head and stroked her cheek. “No. It’s been a long time since you portalled, and with Elias and my blood in your system from our marking night, you should be fine. Headachey perhaps, but fine.”

Her breath whooshed from her pursed lips, and she nodded. The news made her feel so much better about their nearing departure.

She detached herself from her mates and wrapped her arms around Kerensa. “I will miss you. And I know I’m not supposed to say thank you, so I’ll just say I’m grateful for everything you have done.”

Sylvie pulled back with a sniffle staring intensely into Kerensa’s purple eyes. To her surprise, they seemed a tad bloodshot, and she wondered if the Fae warrior princess felt sad about her leaving too.

Kerensa nodded and stepped back, pressing her lips together as if working on words to say, but after a few seconds of silence, she just shook her head and spun, walking back into the castle, not looking back.

Sylvie stepped towards her retreating form, but Kian stopped her with a gentle grip on her shoulder. “She’s okay. She doesn’t want you to see her emotions. It’s a fae thing.”

Sylvie’s eyes widened, and she stared up at him, teary. “I feel bad.”

“I know,” he said with a soft smile. “But we will see her again. Sooner for us than for her.”

With a steadying breath, Sylvie snatched up her mate’s hands and wobbled from foot to foot. “Okay. Let’s go!”
