Uncovering My Wife's Secrets

Chapter 394

Kent watched the news.
He was stunned to see his sister Heather’s name, her photo, her holding hands with Lee, and her current noblewoman
temperament.
He found it hard to believe.
Was this the real sister Heather or did Lee find a woman who looked like her sister? Kent immediately widened his eyes and
fixed them on the video.
In the video, Lee was interviewed by a reporter.
Lee finally said, “In the past 21 years, my wife, Heather, my daughter, Anna, my son, Kalyan, and I all have experienced the test
of fate... Fortunately, the heavens have been kind to us.
Our family is finally reunited.” 21 years.
Who else could it be but her sister? Back then, in a car accident, her sister was hit by a truck and drove into Halo River.
Later, the police failed to find her after a few days of search and confirmed that she was missing.
Kent had always believed that his sister was dead.
Unexpectedly, the person who had passed away 17 years ago was still alive.
How on earth did they find her? She had lost her memory.
Was her mind clear now? At the thought of this, Kent realized that had to make a trip to Jadeborough immediately.
Heather was his sister, his biological sister.
They were from the same mother.
Kent was having a hard time, and he was set to find his sister immediately and explain to her.
They were siblings.
He assumed that Heather would forgive him for the sake that Annalise was doing well.

If her memory had not recovered, it would be easier to fool her.
Heather was the wife of the president of Xander Group.
If Kent had known that she wasn’t dead, he would not have left Annalise in the countryside oblivious to her condition.
But it was too late to regret now.
He could only explain and repair the relationship between them.
Kent drove through the snow to Jadeborough regardless of the severe traffic condition in the north.
At around two in the afternoon, he arrived at Xander Group in Jadeborough.
Kent saw on the news that Lee had brought his sister Heather to the company, so he was sure that Heather was in the company
now.
When he thought of this, Kent immediately rushed into Xander Group without even eating lunch.
When he was stopped by the receptionist on the first floor, he immediately introduced himself proudly.
“I’m the younger brother of Heather, the wife of your president.
I rushed over from Horington.
Let them know.” “Alright,” said the receptionist.
She didn’t dare to treat Kent lightly when she heard that he was the younger brother of Heather.
She quickly called the president’s secretary’s office.
The secretarial team replied and asked her to take Kent to go up.
When the receptionist heard this, she immediately told Kent politely to follow her to the president’s office on the 13th floor.
Kent felt relieved to listen to the receptionist’s words.
The receptionist personally led Kent to the elevator and even helped Kent press the elevator button for the 13th floor.
When they reached the 13th floor, the elevator door opened, and they were greeted by a female secretary.

“Hello, are you the younger brother of Mrs. Xander?” “Yes, I am.” Kent couldn’t help but feel a little arrogant when he saw the
secretary being so respectful.
He was in a better mood.
He knew that his social ladder would be moved up with Heather’s return.
The secretary said to him politely, “Please wait for Mr. Xander and Mrs. Xander in the lounge.” “Okay,” Kent replied.
He sat down in the lounge.
The secretary left, closing the lounge door behind her.
Kent thought that the secretary had gone to make tea or prepare a fruit platter for him, but she still did not come back after he
waited for a long time.
He got up and looked around the lounge.
At first, he was very relaxed, but after he waited for an hour, his anger rose.
He secretly thought that when his sister, Heather, came over and they reunited, he would ask her to fire the secretary.
“What good is a secretary who doesn’t serve a cup of water for the guest?” Kent thought with anger.
After another half an hour, there was still no one coming.
Kent kept looking at his watch in frustration.
He couldn’t wait any longer.
He pulled open the door of the lounge and looked around for the secretary.
When he didn’t see her, he asked the people in the general office area, “Hello, is your president here?” “We don’t know.
Why don’t you ask someone in the secretariat?” the staff of the general office said.
“Alright, thank you!” Kent was still very polite since he had yet to meet his sister.

When he found the secretary group and saw the secretary from before, he asked, his voice dripping with displeasure, “Hello,
when will my sister be coming over?” “Oh, I don’t know.
Mr. Xander said that he and Mrs. Xander went out for a walk,” the secretary said.
Her words brought displeasure on Kent’s face.
He frowned and asked in a questioning tone, “Did you tell my sister that I’m here?” “Oh, I didn’t say that,” the secretary said.
Kent was speechless.
He frowned and urged, “Call my sister and tell her that I’m here.” “Oh, I don’t have Mrs. Xander’s number.” “Then call my brother-
in-law, Lee.” Kent was pissed off by the secretary in front of him.
He did not have Heather’s number.
Otherwise, he would have called her long ago.
“Oh, okay.” The secretary looked dumbfounded.
She was secretly laughing inwardly.
This morning, Lee specially came over to tell her to give Heather’s younger brother the runaround to fool him that if he came
over.
Such a person was not worthy of being Heather’s younger brother.
She pretended to call Lee.
Then, she said, “I can’t get through Mr. Xander.” “Maybe the weather is bad and the signal isn’t good.
Keeping calling him.” Kent’s tone was almost commanding.
“Okay.” The secretary called a few more times, but still couldn’t get through.
Kent was furious.
He called Lee himself.

He had long thought of calling Lee himself.
He was afraid that Lee would bear a grudge against him and exaggerate what he had done in front of his sister.
As expected, the call went through as soon as he called.
He immediately said respectfully, “Hello, Lee.
I’m Kent.
I’m here Jadeborough.
Where are you and Heather? I’m here to look for you.” “We just arrived at Horington,” Lee said calmly.
Kent was speechless.
They went to Horington? He was suddenly seethed with anger.
Wasn’t this playing with him? They had already gone to Horington.
What was he waiting for here? It was almost five o’clock and he hadn’t even eaten lunch.
Kent thought again and guessed that Lee didn’t tell this to his secretary.
Thinking of this, he felt a little better.
He immediately asked with a respectful and fawning smile, “Lee, how long do you plan to stay in Horington?” Kent didn’t want to
miss them again when he finally made it to Horington.
Then he might as well stay in Jadeborough for a few days and wait for Heather to come back.
“Mm, we’re gonna stay here for some time,” Lee replied indifferently.
“Alright, then have fun.
Goodbye!” Kent ended the call.
He immediately found a restaurant to eat, then drove back to Horington.
Horington.

Lee brought Heather to visit her grave, then got someone to remove the tombstone.
After removing the tombstone, Heather said, “Lee, come with me to a place.” “Alright.” He was willing to fulfill Heather’s requests.
