Paige sighed. “Caroline, why are you nagging me like my mom? I’m fine! I don’t have any pregnancy

“Not every woman experiences pregnancy symptoms. Don’t ignore our advice,” Caroline said, sounding
concerned.
Paige replied, “I really am fine! My periods have always been irregular.”

“I do it after Mardi Gras. Luckily, I managed to free up some time today. Work gets really busy at this
time of the year.”
Caroline understood how hectic work at MK could be. so she didn’t press Paige further. She decided to figure out a way to get
Paige to the hospital after Mardi Gras.
During the break, Tyler took a computer training course suggested by the principal while Liora played with
her female classmates on the field.
Suddenly, a mocking voice came from behind Liora. “Is that Fatherless Liora?”
Liora turned abruptly to see a chubby boy and his two friends behind her. Liora’s friend said, “Ignore them,

retorted.

Liora glared at August and sald, “Who did you call a bastard? Say it again if you dare!”
August became harsher, saying, “I was talking about you! You and your brother are bastards!”
Liora clenched her fist and punched August in the face.

hasn’t answered her phone.”
Evan was visibly upset. “I’m asking about Liora’s condition!”

Evan called Reuben immediately and instructed, “Get the car. I’m heading to Merlin.”
