Chapter The Clan of The Night
Jill cried and moaned helplessly so did the man, he had his jaws stiffed and his eyes were red and full of tears.
Within a minute someone stepped in and carried away her body from that circle.
Jill gathered the courage to look back when she realized that was the last of the worshiper because there was already a lot more blood spilled on the ground.
Who knows what horrors she missed to watch, but just when she was about to leave the man who was in the circle turned around, It was Jordan.
“I sacrificed my wife for the love of my life! The woman I’d kill for! And to accept the leadership of the clan of the night I offer my firstborn with my wife to be Jill Kelly!
Jill kept falling back until she hit the wall, she was shocked and left silent and numb with the trauma.
The man who was with her shook her so hard and, pointed in the direction from where they came from, Jill was convinced that Jordan has to pay for what he did, and what he was about to do.
Maybe Jordan walked down the dark path for Jill, but he got addicted to the taste of power. His love for Jill was turning into obsession and he was blind by the fog of the power, Jill needed to put a stop to it, but how? she had no idea.
After walking out of there she rushed to the trashcan and threw out, she felt as if her stomach pulling out of her mouth, the man with her rubbed her back to comfort her.
When she was done she fell on the ground and cried the river, she felt as if she lost her breath and voice, the man sat beside her, she placed her head on his shoulder.
After she took the weight off her heart, the man took her to a cafe Jordan never visited, He asked for a pen and paper and started writing to tell her what he wants to say.
“I am Alec, I’ve been a victim of the Clan of the Night, and my father sacrificed my tongue for all the wealth he has now. I know how you feel and I am sorry about that.
There’s just one man who can help you out, his name is RehanTalha! If you want to get rid of the clan of the night once and for all, I will take you there next Thursday till then please don’t let him suspect anything.
Otherwise, we don’t know what he could do to you, and neither will we have another chance to unveil the face of these ugly clan members” She read what he wrote.
Even though it was a hard thing to do she still convinced herself to wait till the next Thursday.
It killed her to spend her time with the man who was going to be the murderer of her child, she tried to conceal the bitterness in her accent as much as she could, she would often cry in the bathroom, and stayed awake every night.
She stayed neutral with him, avoided any romantic situations, and somehow her week passed, and the day she awaited most… finally arrived.
After Jordan left within the next 30 minutes she saw a man walking her way, he had overcoat and brown pants, and a black flat cap.
It was Alec, he took short yet fast steps and reached her in no time, he looked around then led the way, he took a back route so no one can see them.
After covering a few miles he stopped in a crowded street, with too many shops, cafes, and what not. There was a small burger shop with “Abby’s” written on the signboard.
He took out a note from his pocket and handed it over to her. “You go inside I will keep an eye out here for you” She was scared to go alone but she gathered the courage to go by herself anyway.
There were people, too many of them, she got to the counter and spoke out the name to one of a woman from their staff “Rehan Talha?” She wasn’t sure how to pronounce his name but she showed her a paper that has his name written on it.
“Of course, Mr. Rehan is waiting for you” The woman got out of her counter and took her inside the VIP’s area, there were no one except for the one person, she could see him from the back, a white coat red shirt black hair.
She reached him and he slightly turned his face, “Jill? You are here! Come please have a seat!”
He stepped out of his seat and pulled back a chair for her.
“How do you know my name?” She hesitated and sat on the chair.
“I know Alexander! For a long time.” He sat on the chair.
He was a tall man with a good personality, he had two rings on his fingers with stones in them, and he was wearing contact glasses.
There was nothing in his personality that could explain his spiritual sight or supernatural interest.
His accent was very polite and he seemed well mannered too.
She felt a strange kind of comfort in that small room, she couldn’t hold back her tears and broke down into tears.
She sobbed until her heart felt lighter “I am so sorry” Her voice was trembling uncontrollably.
“It’s okay” He took out a tissue paper from a box and offered her “I hope you feel better now” He waited as she wiped her tears.
She explained everything to him, whatever Jordan did, whatever she and I’ve been through.
“Can you draw that symbol you were talking about” He placed a tissue paper in front of her and took out a pen from his pocket and placed it in front of her.
She took the pen from him and drew that symbol she saw “I am sorry I am not good at drawing” She smiled with embarrassment.
“At least you can draw!” He smiled back and examined the symbol.
“They updated the night symbol? I don’t understand… but what I am seeing now… I’m afraid I don’t have a good news for you Jill!” He looked into her eyes.
“The ritual he performed is a part of a black magic… and a black magic doesn’t simply wear off, or it doesn’t go away with a simple spell!” His big brown eyes were explaining the horrors of those experiences he had in such a short period of time.
“What is it? What aren’t you telling me? See I’ve just got to know that the man I love is planning to kill my firstborn so I think I can take it!” She pretended to be courageous but under the table her fingers were tangled together, to help her keep it together.
“It will kill Daisy! Or if you will try to revert the ritual it will kill you!” His words left her in shock as if someone just snatched her only hope from her.
