To Be Yours Again novel (Alec and Jenny)

Chapter 1233 You're Really Awake!

Jenny spent a long time in the hospital room, talking a lot, but it was always the same thing-she hoped he would wake up soon. As long as he woke up, she was willing to promise him anything. After leaving Alec's hospital room, Jenny looked at Vincent and asked, "Vincent, can you help me put an extra bed in his room?"

"Miss Walter..."

"He's my boyfriend, so I should take care of him." On top of that, Alec was injured so grievously because he protected her from the worst.

When he was in the ICU, Jenny couldn't take care of him. But now that he was in a normal hospital room, she wouldn't miss the opportunity to do so.

Vincent could see Jenny's determination, so he could only agree. "Okay."

Then, Vincent went to make arrangements. Stephanie was still there, feeling somewhat speechless. "Alec will be fine. You don't need to take care of him personally."

"I know. I just want to put my mind at ease." If they weren't in the same room and something happened to Alec, she wouldn't know.

Stephanie knew she couldn't persuade Jenny to do otherwise. "Do as you wish, Jenny. I can see that you've completely fallen for him."

Jenny was startled, then she broke into a smile. In fact, what Stephanie had said wasn't wrong. Perhaps she'd fallen in love with Alec a long time ago, but she had refused to admit it.

Soon, there was an extra bed in Alec's hospital room. Jenny moved from her ward to be with him in his room. There, she could see him at all times.

"Steph, you've worked hard taking care of me these past few days. I'm almost recovered now, so you can go back," Jenny said.

Stephanie frowned, unwilling to leave. "You're not fully recovered. It's obvious that you still have trouble standing up and walking."

"It's okay. There are nurses in the hospital; besides, I've moved here. How can you take care of me?" Previously, Stephanie had shared a bed with her at night, but now that she'd moved into Alec's room, it wasn't appropriate.

Hearing her words, Stephanie didn't insist any further. "Okay, I won't disturb your alone time with him."

"Go back. I'll treat you to a scrumptious meal when I get discharged." Jenny smiled at her, grateful for Stephanie's care these past few days.

Soon, Stephanie left, and Vincent didn't come in to disturb them. Jenny lay in her bed and could see Alec beside her.

"Alec, you have to wake up soon," she whispered.

As if he'd heard Jenny's words, Alec woke up that evening.

His injury was much more severe than Jenny's, so when he woke up, he couldn't do anything except blink his eyes. He couldn't even control his hands.

"Vincent..." he called out softly. Although he didn't see anyone, he believed Vincent was probably watching over him in the hospital.

Jenny was half asleep, but because she was close by, she heard Alec's voice and immediately woke up.

"Alec? Are you awake?" Jenny wasn't sure if he'd opened his eyes from her position.

When Alec heard Jenny's voice, he was stunned and unsure. He turned his head with great effort and saw that there was another bed in the room, and Jenny was lying on that bed at the moment. "You're really awake!" Jenny was very happy and immediately wanted to get out of bed, but the pain in her leg prevented her from going over to Alec.

Alec noticed this and quickly said, "Don't move. I'll ask Vincent to come in."

With that, Alec pressed the call button on the bed.
