Three Alphas for the Alpha Princess

Chapter 2 

DENISE 

I charged toward the pack house with a maddening speed. 

As I ran, I could feel the wind whipping past my face and the soft dirt crunching beneath my paws, Even this run couldn’t ease the guilt. 

bursted through the door of the pack house as soon as I reached it. I shifted back into my human form whilst standing beside the door to my bathroom, then went in at once and turned on the shower, letting the fat drops of hot water punish me for my mistakes. 

“Oh, moon goddess, why would you punish me like this?” I thought aloud, scrubbing my skin more harshly than I intended. There were hickeys everywhere I looked in the mirror, reminding me that I had given my virginity to a stranger. 

I thought about my parents and the fact that they might be planning a huge party for my birthday already. And the mating ceremony between Simon and I might even be today as well… Knowing my parents and his, the whole pack house and the neighboring ones would be in attendance, 

I knew I could not stay in the bathroom too long, I had to confess. Seek their forgiveness…. 

With this thought in mind, I reluctantly turned off the shower and stepped out, applying some lotion before I slipped into this knee–length elegant turquoise dress my mom really liked. It was a turtle neck that hid my hickeys well too, I could not be seen with those as the Alpha’s daughter 

I mind linked Sage and Simon. Sage confessed to have gone off with some guy when she could not find Simon and I, whilst Simon agreed to talk to me in private after the party. 

It took a lot for me to finally go down the stairs, and as I expected, the hall was bustling with a lot of new faces that only managed to spike my anxiety. 

The hall was so lively and everyone stared up at me with adoration in their eyes, causing my guilt to heighten. There was even a large digital s displaying ‘Happy Birthday in large decorative letters at one corner of the hall 

“You’re so beautiful. We cannot wait for the ceremony tonight, to finally welcome you to our family. The Red Moon’s Luna, and Simon’s mother gushed as she stood beside her husband, the Alpha

was too shaken to speak, but thankfully, they did not mind, just kept moving me about to meet different dignitaries. 

“I’m sure Simon is not 

not here yet because he is preparing a surprise for you. One gushed, and the other confirmed, 

“I think so too, they are such a sweet couple.” 

Every other person agreed while I just struggled to keep my smile on and answer their questions as much as I could. 

In the middle of the pleasantries. I heard a small commotion and before I could fully turn around to know what happened, a large palm clasped around my throat and I was flung against a wall… by Simon? 

I could not breathe as 1 clawed at his hand around my neck 

“You fucking cheat!” He cussed. 

“L… Please…” I choked, but he did not release my throat even when my face got too hot and it seemed impossible to get air. 

“You cheated on me! Why would you cheat on me?” He accused, and my heart almost flew out of my ribcage. He… How? 

“Simon, stop it right now! My father cried out and snatched me off Simon’s hold. I fell to the ground, gasping for air. It was like I could not get enough oxygen no matter how I tried. 

Simon shook a finger at me continuously, his eyes blazing with a rage I had never seen on his face before. 

“What is going on here? Simon, you never act like this. Tell us what is going on, come on.” A high–ranked pack member from the Red Moon Pack demanded, but Simon just sneered at me, saying nothing. 

And because I could never help my tears, they came rolling down my checks on demand, whilst I tried to gather enough courage to say something. 

“She She had an affair with me. I heard a slightly familiar voice say. I stumbled to my feet, and looked behind Simon who still had his murderous gaze on me, to see who it was 

He had stepped forward now, a rusty looking man, five foot tall with very unkempt beards and discolored luir. I could not still place his face, but 1 knew that this was not the man who had claimed my virginity last night. From the Little I recalled, that man was an enigma, and my mate. 

435 PM 

Chapter 2

So, this had to be…. 

“I am the rogue you slept with last night. My name is Asher.” The way the words rolled off his tongue so smoothly. I could have sworn they were the truth, but I knew better. 

“You liar and cheat! How could you stoop so low to sleep with a bloody rogue!! A nobody, damn it!” 

I kept shaking my head no, with my hands clutching his hand for dear life, but he would not free me, he kept his hand around my throat until he was dragged off me again. 

“What is this madness?! All these accusations and lies without evidence?” My father barked, his eyes transparent with hurt. 

Simon scoffed, turning to face my father. “Oh there is proof.” 

Then he shared a look with Sage, and my best friend took out her phone, avoiding my gaze as she moved to my father’s side, muttering. “Uh. someone sent this video to Simon and I. I never wanted it to get to this” 

I just stood there, too stunned to speak. Siun turned to pure shock when instead of the video playing on the phone, it began to play on the digital screen instead, for everyone to see 

The crowd gasped in unison and Sage mouthed, “Oops…, still avoiding my eyes. 

I did not look at her for long, the clip had stolen my attention by now. 

The video looked so, so bad. The rogue, Asher, lay on top of me on the bed, kissing my neck while I lay there, drugged, so I looked completely compliant, even the first time he rubbed his manhood against me. I even let out a sound that resembled a moan! 

The crowd broke out in hushed whispers, all casting disappointed glances at me every now and then. I couldn’t take this.. I was framed! 

“It’s not what you all think, I swear! I was framed! I was… I was drugged and he tried to take advantage of me! I tried to get away but I could not really do anything, 1 was drugged—” 

“Liar, such a damn liar–Simon interrupted, but I cut him off, hellbent on proving my innocence, 

“He did not sleep with me, I swear. I was rescued before he could do anything serious, I 

The rogue interrupted this time, “Well, I can prove it further” 

Before I could say anything to that, he was in front of me and his hand shot out, pulling my turtle neck dress by the collar so it ripped to my shoulders. 

The crowd went ballistic again and it took a good while before I realized what was happening. The hickeys scattered all over my y neck w 

were definitely on full display now, it made me want to die of shame. 

I began to explain right away, I could not let them go with the narrative they had in their heads, “My mate. It was my mate who saved me, he’s the one who left these hickeys… I was drugged, remembert And the mate bond as well, I could not really resist him! Things spiraled out of control, yes. but it was my mate who … who I slept with, not a roguel” 

“How can a rogue overpower you? Aren’t you an Alpha blood? Why couldn’t you fight him off? Someone from the crowd asked, starting at me with a disgusted look. 

Another one added, “Yes, and if it was really your mate who did… these to you, why would he not mark you!” 

“Who would drug you, even?” 

“You slept with a rogue? Seriously? Do you have any idea how degrading it is? An Alpha blood?” 

“Would you have even said anything if our poor Simon had not found out!” 

All these questions and many more, but I just stood there with a sea of tears in my eyes, not knowing how to answer any. I felt so guilty and disgusted with myself; it did not help that every time I moved, I could feel the aftermath of what had happened last night. Oh, moon goddess. Did I really deserve this! 

“Alright, alright, that’s enough now. Let my family handle this. Lock the rogue up, we would have him further investigated My 

My mother started, stepping forward and right away, our guards reached for Asher, dragging him towards the park house’s cell. He kept calling out for Simon, but the man did not spare him a single glance, just kept his eyes on my mother. 

To the rest of the guests, they said, “Thank you for coming everyone, but we would have to call it a day now. We would look into this matter thoroughly, it’s a promise. Do have a nice day ahead”

Chapter 2 

She kept that fake smile plastered on her face as the some of the walked up to her to give out their fake words of comfort before leaving. Fake, because I could still very much see the ridicule in their eyes as they spoke to her. 

It was like they had waited so long for this. A few high–ranked members of both Silvermoon and Red Moon packs stayed, though. 

“Please. Alpha Derek, I would look into this, just give us some time- My father started, but Alpha Derek did not let him finish. 

“The engagement is canceled. Your daughter is no longer worthy of my son. I think you understand why already- 

“Oh, come on. You heard my daughter, she was drugged and it was with her mate, not the rogue..” 

My heart was racing. I knew why my father was pleading so much. We needed this bonding between both packs; our pack was getting weaker by the day, this was our only hope. I had ruined everything. 

“Did you not see the evidence? Your daughter is tainted! Too tainted to be our Luna in the future, especially not now that Simon has secured a position in the King’s council. I will not see it happen.” 

It was a conversation for the Alphas, their wives knew better than to interrupt the intense conversation, talk more of us–their offsprings. 

I tried to meet Simon’s gaze, at least to search for the love we shared but it was like he could not afford to look at me. 

My father continued to beg for forgiveness, “Our kids have been betrothed to each other even before they were born, we can work this put, we have been friends for too long. 

my father turned to me, “Apologize right now! Can’t you speak? What have you done?!” 

Alpha Derek was not having it still, so my 

“There is no need, Alpha Connor, the engagement is canceled.” 

I met Sage’s eyes, drowning the men’s voices in the hall. She had a smile on her face, it was small, but it was there. 

It hit me then. Of course, it was her!, I thought with a hand over my wide open mouth. She orchestrated everything–drugged me, planned the meeting with the rogue and Simon, probably even made the video too… 

But why! 

I was broken, and I could feel Arya breaking too. Weirdly, we were breaking for different reasons. Arya missed her mate, I wanted my Simon back. 

I charged towards her, hurt beyond words. “How could you? You planned everything, everything! You ruined my life. You—” 

She ran off and went to hide behind Simon, who now looked up at me with an enraged expression and a protective stance 

I stopped in my tracks, right in front of him. I was nowhere near ready for her next words, “I gave up my mate for you, Denise, why do you still slander me?“”
