Chapter the Wife 62
Chapter 62 Apology
Anders had hurt her so deeply that Sally didn’t want to have any interaction with him at all! Seeing Sally turn her head away, Anders’s anger flared.
“What are you avoiding?” he said angrily. “Do you hate seeing me that much?”
Sally closed her eyes and then sneered. “Mr. Anders, seeing you makes me so happy.”
Anders clenched his fists silently.
“Do you have to treat me like this?” Anders said, suppressing his anger. “Sally, you’re getting more and more out of line!”
Sally sat up in bed and said, “Sorry, but I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong.”
With that, she tried to get out of bed to leave!
Anders quickly stopped her. “What are you doing?”
Sally glared at him. “I want to leave here! Get out of my way!”
Sally’s health wasn’t good, and Anders wanted her to rest more. Seeing her so stubborn, he couldn’t help but get angry too. “Lie down!”
Sally thought he was going to force her and angrily slapped him across the face. “Anders!”
Anders was stunned by the slap.
Sally withdrew her hand with annoyance.
“I told you to let me go…” Sally muttered as she tried to get out of bed, but Anders, furious, pushed her back onto the bed.
Sally couldn’t move and angrily glared at him. “Let go of me!”
Seeing Sally’s angry face, Anders suddenly laughed. “Since you have so much energy, why don’t we do something fun?”
“What?” Sally’s eyes widened!
Seeing Anders lean in, Sally screamed in terror, “Help! Help…”
As Anders’s lips touched Sally’s neck, she bit his shoulder hard!
“Ah…” Anders cried out in pain.
He straightened up, gritting his teeth. “You’re crazy…”
Sally rolled her eyes.
“Didn’t you always hate me? Didn’t you always want a divorce?” Sally said mockingly. “Anders, now’s your chance.”
Anders was taken aback. “What do you mean?”
Sally sneered. “I don’t have any expectations of you anymore. I just want a divorce and never to see you again.”
Her words clearly angered Anders.
Anders tightly gripped her slender wrist and said, “Divorce? Ha, dream on! Sally, as long as I don’t agree,

you’ll never leave me. Never.”
Tears streamed down Sally’s face.
Then she laughed.
“Mr. Anders,” Sally’s smile was cold and distant, “if I remember correctly, you still have Mary as your fiancée, right? Ha… if you don’t divorce me, how will you marry her legally? Or do you want her to be mistress forever?”
The word “mistress” deeply stung Anders.
“Forget Gale, Sally,” Anders said. “If you forget that guy, we can start over.”
Anders thought he was making the biggest concession
But he was disappointed.
your
Sally looked at him with disdain. “Forget him? Why should I? Who do you think you are to tell me what to do? Anders, I’m telling you, you’ll never get my love again. I will never love you again. Do you understand?” Anders’s face darkened, unable to say another word.
Sally forcefully broke free from his grip and quickly got out of bed.
Ignoring Anders’s threatening gaze, she put on her coat and quickly left the room.
Instead of going back to her place, Sally went to the cemetery.
Andy’s and Laura’s graves had been damaged, and she wanted to repair them so they could rest in peace.
Arriving at the site, seeing the mess, Sally felt immense sorrow.
She painstakingly piled the dirt back and set up the tombstones again.
While she was working, a familiar voice suddenly came from behind. “Sally.”
Sally’s back stiffened.
She turned around in disbelief and saw Daniel looking at her with a face full of guilt.
A strong sense of rejection surged in Sally’s heart.
“What are you doing here?” Sally said irritably. “I didn’t harm your dear Mia. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and call the police.”
Daniel hesitated, and Sally added, “I’ve been to the police station before.”
Finally, Daniel said, “I’m sorry.”
Sally’s eyes widened.
Was this guy crazy? Why was he suddenly apologizing?
Seeing Sally still looking at him warily, Daniel said, “Sally, I’m sorry. I misunderstood you before. It was actually Mia who framed you.”
Sally hadn’t expected Daniel to say that.
She bowed her head, finished her work on the graves, and then stood up cleanly.
“Where are you going?” Daniel couldn’t help but ask.
Sally ignored him and walked away.
Daniel was no longer the person he used to be, and she had no reason to get entangled with him again.
Chapter 62 Apology
Especially now that Andy was in heaven, Sally found no reason to stay involved with Daniel.
Daniel was a cold, heartless person. That was all.
Daniel quickly stepped in front of her, blocking her path. “Sally, wait!”
Sally looked at him impatiently. “What do you want now?”
Daniel hesitated. Finally, he asked, “What did you mean when you said you were coughing up blood and didn’t have much time left?”
Sally’s heart trembled slightly.
If Daniel were the person he used to be, Sally would have confided in him without hesitation, telling him all the grievances and pains she had endured over the years.
But now, Sally felt it was unnecessary.
She raised her hand, mockingly saying, “What do I mean? Oh, nothing. I was just saying it. Why? Did you actually believe it?”
Daniel clenched his fists silently.
“Hmph,” Sally sneered. “Daniel, stop pretending to care. Get out of my way! Don’t block my path.”
Daniel couldn’t stand Sally’s cold attitude toward him. He grabbed her slender wrist and said coldly, “Are you really that heartless? Do you have to treat me like this to be happy?”
“Let go!” Sally said coldly. “We’re not that close, are we? Why are you bothering me?”
Daniel said dejectedly, “Sally, believe me. I’ll make it up to you.”
Sally couldn’t help but laugh. “Make it up? Who cares about your compensation? I don’t need it! Get out of my way! Don’t ever show up in front of me again.”
But Daniel still blocked her path. “Tell me clearly, what did you mean when you said you didn’t have much time left?”
Sally rolled her eyes. “What does it have to do with you?”
“You have to tell me!” Daniel said excitedly. “Sally, what are you hiding from me?”
“I…” Sally was so annoyed with Daniel that she couldn’t even finish a sentence before she coughed up a mouthful of blood!
Daniel was stunned!
