Chapter 60 Clearing Things Up

Daniel felt a wave of irritation and roughly pulled Sally up from the ground, gritting his teeth. “Sally, you killed my and Mia’s baby. Now, you will give me another one!”

Sally, still grieving, found Daniel’s words absurd.

Andy was dead, and the baby she once carried had been forcibly aborted by a doctor under Anders‘ orders. She couldn’t comprehend what Daniel meant by making her give him a baby.

Daniel, unwilling to explain further, forcefully dragged her out of the cemetery.

“What are you doing? Let go of me, let go!” Sally struggled, but

Daniel’s grip was too strong. She couldn’t do anything against him.

Daniel shoved Sally into his car, slamming the door shut.

Sally was thrown into the backseat.

“What are you doing?” Sally’s eyes widened, “Daniel, are you crazy?”

Daniel grabbed her by the throat, “Sit still, did you hear me?”

He got into the driver’s seat and sped away.

Sally tried to sit up, but her old stomach pain flared up again.

She curled up in pain.

The pain was unbearable….

Soon, Sally lost consciousness.

When Sally woke up, she found herself lying on a large bed.

This place was a hotell

Sally quickly sat up in shock

At that moment, Damel, dressed in a bathrobe, walked out of the bathroom

Daniel casually poured himself a glass of warm water and glanced at her. “You’re awake? I thought you’d sleep until tomorrow.”

Sally looked at him warily, “Daniel, what are you planning to do?”

“Heh,” Daniel took a sip of water, “What do you think? You’re going to give me and Mia a baby.”

Sally couldn’t believe her ears!

“What madness is this!” Sally screamed, “How can I have your baby!”

Daniel stepped closer to the bed, “Sally, you don’t have a say in this. Earlier, I asked you nicely to be my mistress, but you refused. Now, you don’t even qualify for that.”

Daniel’s cruel smile widened, “Oh, and let me tell you, you’re just a container for my future child now…”

“Ah! Get away! Get away!” Sally backed away in terror, “Don’t come near me! Don’t touch me!”

Daniel easily pinned Sally’s hands down, coldly looking at the woman beneath him, “Once you give birth to my child, I’ll make sure you join your son.”

Sally’s lips trembled, and suddenly, she vomited a large mouthful of

blood!

Overwhelmed with emotion, Sally had vomited blood!

Daniel was stunned.

What was wrong with this woman? Why did she suddenly vomit

blood?

Daniel was at a loss, and Sally cried, “I have a severe stomach illness.

I don’t have long to live. Daniel, just as Mia can no longer have children, neither can I. Do you really want to push me this far?”

Daniel’s expression grew complicated.

Was she telling the truth?

Or was she playing another trick?

As Daniel hesitated, the hotel room door was suddenly kicked open!

“Ah…” Sally gasped in surprise.

Anders, furious, stormed in with his men.

“Mr. Daniel…” the hotel staff apologized, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t stop Mr. Anders…”

Daniel let go of Sally, who stopped struggling.

Anders glared at Daniel coldly.

“What are you doing here, Anders?” Daniel asked mockingly.

Anders sneered, “Daniel, you’re quite the gentleman, aren’t you… forcing a woman?”

“And you’re no better,” Daniel retorted, “You haven’t treated Sally well either.”

Anders gritted his teeth, “Let Sally go!”

Daniel didn’t intend to let her go, “What, are you going to fight me for her?”

Anders, fed up, threw a USB drive at Daniel.

“Watch this,” Anders sneered, “Daniel, after you see what’s inside, you’ll know just how pure and kind your precious Mia really is.”

Daniel Sensing Anders sarcasm, picked up the USB drive, “What are you talking about?

Anders said. “You claim to love Mia Watch the contents of this drive, and the truth will come out.”

Anders then approached the bed.

Sally had famted.

Without a word, he lifted her into his arms.

As Anders left, Daniel inserted the USB drive into a computer.

It was surveillance footage.

Daniel found it familiar, and a few seconds later, he saw Sally and Mia on the screen!

Sally and Mia appeared to be arguing. Mia grabbed Sally and dragged her towards the stairs.

Sally tried to break free, and Mia deliberately fell backwards!

Mia’s exaggerated movements clearly indicated she had thrown herself down the stairs!

Sally had been framed!

Daniel’s heart ached.

What had he done?

He had repeatedly hurt Sally!

Daniel quickly got dressed and called his assistant to find out where Anders had taken the injured Sally.

His assistant soon reported back.

Coincidentally, Sally was taken to the same hospital where Mia was.

Daniel wasted no time and drove off

Fifteen minutes later, Daniel arrived at the hospital.

He rushed to the emergency room and saw Anders waiting anxiously outside.

Anders looked tense, his brows tightly knit as he stared at the emergency room doors.

Seeing Daniel, Anders‘ expression changed.

“What are you doing here?” Anders sneered.

Before Daniel could answer, his phone rang.

“Daniel, where are you?” Mary sounded anxious, “Mia is in critical. condition, come quickly!”

Daniel felt annoyed, “If she’s in critical condition, find a doctor. What can I do? Am I a doctor?”

Mary was taken aback.

Daniel’s attitude had shifted so suddenly.

Had Sally told him something?

Mary was flustered but tried to remain calm, “Mia keeps saying her stomach hurts… Daniel, please come and see her…

Reluctantly, Daniel left.

When he entered Mia’s room, she was crying hysterically, “My

stomach hurts… my baby, my baby..

Daniel walked in coldly.

“Daniel, you’re finally here!”

Mary’s eyes lit up.
