Chapter 37 Rescue

With a resounding “slap,” Daniel struck Sally hard across the face,

Sally was stunned!

“Shut up!” Daniel raged. “Who do you think you are to insult Mia in front of me?

You aren’t even worth a strand of her

Seeing the intense loathing in Daniel’s eyes, Sally’s heart bled. She never imagined Daniel could despise her so much because of Mia,

She felt immense sadness and pain…

“Daniel…” Sally sniffled, “Whether you believe it or not, I never intended to harm anyone close to you. Even if you only trust Mia and not me, I have never thought of hurting Mia. Why are you doing this to me?”

Daniel thought Sally was hopelessly stubborn.

He gritted his teeth and said, “So, you’re insisting you didn’t harm Mia, right?”

“I never thought of hurting her!” Sally was on the verge of breaking down in tears. “She has always been the one framing me! She and Mary are in cahoots, they want to harm me, they want to harm me…”

Daniel found Sally’s words utterly unconvincing.

He sneered and said, “You’re just going to be stubborn, aren’t you?”

Sally looked at Daniel in disbelief.

Daniel signaled to his two bodyguards, “Take this woman to the yard!”

The two bodyguards obeyed, roughly dragging Sally off the floor.

“Stop, stop…” Sally babbled, “Let go of me, let go of me…”

The weather outside was cold, and Sally was dressed lightly. As soon as she left the heated room, she began shivering uncontrollably.

“I’m giving you one last chance,” Daniel said angrily. “Do you admit you hired someone to hit Mia?”

“I didn’t!” Sally stubbornly said. “I never did anything to harm her! I didn’t do it,

and I won’t admit it

Fine Daniel suddenly laughed, “You said it yourself… Since you won’t admit it’ll make you regret it!”

Daniel ordered his bodyguards to bring a long rope, tied one end to Sally’s wrists, and the other end to the back of a car.

“If you don’t care about your life, I have nothing more to say.” Daniel got into the car and started the engine.

Without hesitation, Daniel began driving arou the yard, dragging Sally behind!

Caught off guard, Sally was violently pulled along by the car, her body scraping against the snowy ground, quickly becoming covered in blood.

Daniel mercilessly drove around the yard with Sally in tow. When he finally stopped, Sally, unable to bear the pain, coughed up blood.

Daniel was slightly surprised but quickly masked it with disgust. “Are you pretending? Do you think spitting out blood will make me go easy on you? It’s not going to happen!”

Sally cried, “How can you be so heartless, Daniel? We used to be so close, how can you disregard my life and insist on hurting me like this?”

“You hurt me first!” Daniel’s eyes were red with anger. “Mia is so kind and

gentle, how could you harm her? Mia is my life!”

Glaring at Sally, Daniel said viciously, “I’ll ask you one more time, did you harm

Mia?

Even in her injured state, Sally stubbornly denied, “I didn’t, I didn’t…”

Daniel stopped talking, untied the rope from Sally, and bent down to get into the car again.

Seeing the car’s headlights aimed at her, Sally’s eyes widened in terror!

Daniel intended to run her over?

Sally screamed in desperation, “No! No! Daniel, don’t come closer, if you kill me, you’ll regret it, you’ll regret it!”

But Daniel ignored her and drove straight at her!

Knowing resistance was futile, Sally closed her eyes in despair.

She didn’t expect her life to end at 24.

She never thought she would leave this world in such a manner.

In that moment, she recalled many faces

Andy’s, Anders‘, Mary’s…

Her past flashed before her eyes…

Just as the car was about to hit her, a Porsche suddenly rushed in and collided with Daniel’s car, pushing it aside!

Both cars‘ front ends were heavily damaged!

Sally was stunned by the scene.

Seeing the Porsche, she cried out, “Gale?”

Gale quickly got out of the Porsche and ran to Sally.

Seeing Sally covered in blood, Gale felt his heart shatter!

“Sally, Sally!” Gale was almost in tears.

He carefully helped Sally up.

Gale intended to take Sally to the hospital immediately, but Daniel got out of his car and blocked their way, shouting, “You’re not going anywhere! No one leaves without my permission.”

Gale couldn’t hold back anymore. He punched Daniel hard in the face, knocking

him to the ground!

“Kid, I warn you to stay away from Sally,” Gale said fiercely. “If you dare trouble her again, I’ll break your legs!”

Daniel, his pride wounded, got up and continued blocking their path, saying, “I dare you to leave. No one leaves this yard today!”

Gale clenched his fists, “Daniel, we’ve known each other for years. I never thought you were this kind of person!”

Daniel looked disdainful, “Gale, you’d better understand the situation.”

Gale, protecting Sally in his arms, said, “Situation? What situation? Daniel, do you want me to stay away from Sally?”

Daniel looked at the nearly unconscious Sally with disdain and said to Gale, ‘ What? Gale, do you really want to protec, this woman for life? Do you know she did horrible things to my girlfriend? Mia had an accident because of her.”

Gale was unmoved. He scrutinized Daniel and then sneered, “Daniel, are you even a man?”

“What?” Daniel didn’t understand Gale’s meaning.

Gale continued to protect Sally and said, “You’re a grown man, but you’re so easily swayed? You believe everything Mia says?”
