Chapter the Wife 21
– Chapter 21 Violation
Chapter 21 Violation
Sally, with red–rimmed eyes, looked at him. Suddenly, Anders’s expression changed: “Have you known. that guy for a long time? Otherwise, why does Andy look so much like Gale?”
Sally, furious, tried to shake off his hand: “Stop making baseless accusations! It’s not what you think!” *Baseless accusations?” Anders laughed bitterly. “Why are you pretending to be virtuous with me? First, it was Victor, now it’s Gale. Sally, do you really need a man that badly? Hmm? Can’t live without one?”
After saying that, Anders forcefully dragged her into a small stall in the restroom.
“Abi
Sally screamed. “This is the women’s restroom! Are you crazy?”
“Yes, I am crazy!” Anders’s eyes turned blood–red. He pushed Sally’s head down and leaned in.
“Mm…” Sally was caught off guard as he forcibly kissed her. Tears welled up in her eyes, but Anders showed no sign of letting her go. His kisses grew more aggressive.
Sally felt an overwhelming sense of disgust. Just as Anders was about to undress her, urgent footsteps sounded outside.
“Sally! Sally!” Gale’s anxious voice called from outside)
Both of them froze. Sally tried to break free, but Anders easily restrained her with his superior strength, “Don’t move,” Anders whispered coldly into Sally’s ear. “You wouldn’t want Gale to see you like this, would you?”
Silent tears streamed down Sally’s face.
“Sally! Sally!” Gale couldn’t wait any longer. Realizing something was amiss when Sally and Anders didn’t return to their seats, he guessed something was up.
Seeing one of the stalls locked tightly, Gale’s anger flared.
“Anders, get out here! I know you’re in there! What have you done to Sally?”
“Get out!” Gale wanted to kick the door, but worried about hurting Sally, he gritted his teeth and said, ” Anders, you just wait.”
After that, Gale rushed to find the restaurant manager.
Anders listened to Gale’s receding footsteps, then smirked at the woman in his arms.
“See, even he can’t do anything to me,” Anders said cruelly. “I warned you not to defy me, but you never learn..
Just as Anders was about to go further, Gale returned with several people.
“It’s here!” Gale said. “Unlock it quickly!”
The manager hurriedly tried to unlock the door, but before he could, the stall door opened from the inside. Anders looked expressionlessly at the people outside.
Gale froze for a few seconds, then glared angrily at Anders: “What did you do to Sally?”
Anders glanced at him indifferently and said, “What could I have done?”
With that, Anders calmly walked out.
Gale turned back to the stall, only to find Sally leaning against the wall, her clothes disheveled and her
face deathly pale.

Gale quickly signaled the others to leave.
He took off his coat and draped it over Sally.
“Sally, what did that beast do to you?” Gale fumed. “I’ll kill him!”
But Sally weakly grabbed his arm, saying, “No, don’t…
Gale
hesitated, then muttered a few curses under his breath.
“He’s gone too far!” Gale said. “I’ll take you home first, then I’ll go deal with him!”
Sally’s eyes filled with tears. “Gale, this is my problem. Don’t get Involved…”
She changed the subject: “Can you take Andy back to the hospital? I don’t want him to see me like this…” Gale clenched his fists and said, “I’ll have Chris take Andy to the hospital, then… I’ll take you home, okay?” Sally silently nodded.
Gale drove Sally to her apartment building. As they parted, he couldn’t help but say, “Sally, will you be with me?”
Sally was stunned: “What?”
Gale looked serious: “Will you marry me? If you marry me, Anders can’t do anything to you.”
Sally’s expression darkened.
“You must have had doubts in your mind, right?” Sally said with a bitter smile.
Gale didn’t respond.
Sally lowered her head: “You should have realized that my relationship with Anders is complicated..”
She looked up at Gale: “Yes, he’s the one I told you about, my dead husband.”
What Anders had done to her hardly made him a qualified spouse.
Calling him dead wasn’t a lie.
But it was time to tell Gale everything.
Gale was young and had a bright future. He shouldn’t waste his time on a woman like her.
Moreover, she was still legally married to Anders.
“So what?” Gale said indifferently. “Even if he’s your husband… wait, are you still married?”
Sally silently nodded.
“Then get a divorce!” Gale said firmly. “Divorce him! If he doesn’t agree, I’ll help you sue him! After you get divorced, marry you. How about that?”
Sally didn’t expect Gale to go to such lengths for her!
Her eyes welled up with tears.
For so many years, aside from a few friends, Sally hadn’t felt this cared for in a long time.
Why…
Why was Gale so good to her?
Chapter 23 Violation
He was family with Mary!
Sally wiped her tears and said, “Gale, thank you for being so good to me, but I really can’t be with you.”
“Are you afraid I’ll look down on you? Or that my family won’t agree?” Gale asked directly. “Or… are your worried about my sister?”
Sally stood frozen.
Gale looked into her eyes and said seriously: “Anders is not a good person. If my sister likes him, she’s blind. If she gives you a hard time again, I won’t give her any face! Sally, I just want to be with you. Please say yes, okay?”
Sally hesitated, but in the end, she chose to step back.
Gale was anxious and was about to embrace her when his phone rang.
“What is it?” Gale asked impatiently.
His assistant’s voice came from the phone: “Sir, there’s an urgent issue at the subsidiary in Europe. You need to go there tonight.”
“Tonight?” Gale was surprised. “Is it that urgent?”
The assistant confirmed it was.
Gale sighed and hung up the phone.
He looked at Sally and said, “I have to leave for Europe tonight. Sally, wait for me. When I get back, I’ll help you with the divorce!”
Sally wanted to shake her head, but hearing Gale’s sincere promise, she tearfully nodded.
Gale quickly kissed her forehead and then drove away.
