The group was still in shock after learning about Eden’s betrayal. They had always trusted her, and now it seemed like everything they knew was a lie.

As they were trying to process this information, they heard a loud explosion from outside. They quickly made their way to the window and saw chaos unfolding in the city. Buildings were on fire, and people were running for their lives.

“We have to go help,” said Orion, the teleporter.

They all agreed and quickly gathered their things. As they were leaving, they noticed that Lily was missing.

“Where’s Lily?” asked Nico, the tech genius.

Maya’s eyes filled with tears as burst through the door and spoke. “They killed her.”

Everyone was silent for a moment, mourning the loss of their dear friend. But they knew they couldn’t dwell on it for too long. There were lives at stake, and they needed to act fast.

As they made their way through the city, they saw the destruction that Eden had caused. She had been working with the villains all along, feeding them information and helping them plan their attacks and couldn’t focus on their anger towards Eden right now. They had to work together to stop the villains and save as many lives as possible.They split up into teams, using their powers to help those in need. Orion and Tempest worked together to put out the fires with rain, while Phoenix and Maya searched for survivors in the rubble.

Nico, on the other hand, hacked into the villains’ communication channels, trying to gather as much information as possible.

They worked tirelessly for hours, saving as many lives as they could. And as they finally made their way back to their hideout, exhausted and emotionally drained, they knew that this was their lives now.
