The Wallflower and the Alphas

Chapter 113 "Playing Time is Over"

Avery P.O.V.

"Please just leave me alone," I ask my mates. I need some time away from them to think. They are messing with my head, and I want to follow my heart, but my brain tells me to be cautious around them. I am almost there truthing them, but not yet.

I need to be alone; maybe I can think without them down my neck 24/7. Gee, I do need to take a breather away from all the manly bodies on me and inside me. Right now, my body is craving my mates, but I must have control to think about what I will do. I can't think of sex and four gorgeous men I want to pleasure with my hands, mouth, and my body. I need to stop thinking about them satisfying me too. So, I got to be a good wolf, not a naughty one. I thought with a grin on my lips.

After in the Art class with my mates in the back...

I started walking to lunch with my friends. We started going in line to pay for our lunch. Sometimes I bring my lunch, but today I was running late and needed more time to make it last night or this morning.

Once we found a seat and started eating. That was when I opened my mouth and told them about my run-in with Emilia Stone, aka old best friend.

"Hey, girls, what if I tell you about a weekend party at a lake house?" I told them. They just stared at me with a weird and confused look on their face.

That was when Ashely opened her mouth and asked.

"Why does someone have a party that we know and are friendly with them?" She asked me.

"Yes and no," I told them with a nervous voice. Then their eyes got wide, and then they started talking.

"Why? I heard Ashely say.

"Well, just hear me out before you say no, girls," I told them with a calm and connected voice.

They looked around them and then at each other. That was when I saw them having communication between the two of them. I saw them smile over at me and nod their head at me before they said anything.

I started talking again. I told them everything had been going on with me. Then I got to Emilia, where she ran into me.

A couple of minutes later...

"Well? What do you girls think?" You want to give her another chance and go to the party?" I asked them with a curious expression on my face.

So, I waited for them to give me their answer. So I didn't have to wait long.

Then Ashely answered me back first.

"No!" she just blankly said it. She didn't even hesitate.

"Okay," I said, then I looked over at Natalie. I gave her a nervous smile.

"What about you? Natalie," I asked her.

She turned and stared at Ashely. I see Ashely shaking her head; no! But it isn't her say. It's Natalie to voice her words.

"I don't know, Avery; what if it's all a joke, and she and her friends start making fun of her again? I can't handle that again."

"I understand what you mean. I really do." I don't know the truth here, either. But I am mated with her brother; she will be my sister-in-law." And I want to at least be tolerable with her." I told them.

"I don't know." Avery, Natalie said in a worried and curious voice.

"Look, girls." I understand, really." But she has seen genuinely sorry, and I want to believe her honestly." She said she misses us." I told them.

Then I saw Ashely and Natalie look at each chatter again. That was when I saw their expression change and Ashely and Natalie staring back at me.

I heard Ashely and Natalie sigh and speak one at a time.

"Okay, Avery, I will go with you to her lake house for the party. But if she starts being a bitch, we are out of there; if not. I will have to drag your skinny ass out. I will." Ashely said with a serious expression on her face.

Then I nodded my head and smiled at her.

"Oh, God, I can't believe I am going to the bitches house!" Ashely said in a groan and worried voice.

I chuckled, and I thanked her.

Then I turned my head to Natalie, and she had a worried look on her face.

"Well, what do you think now, Natalie," I asked her in a begging voice, but she didn't hear that in my voice.

"Okay, I hope we are not making a big mistake." I heard Natalie mumble under her breath. She thought we didn't listen to her. But I did.

Yeah, Natalie, I pray it's no mistake, either. I thought to myself.

After Lunch period, I was sitting in my seat in Math class, and the teacher was not here today, but we got a sub for his class. Miss, Wilson is a middle-aged beauty with black hair and bright green eyes, and the guy in this class is wolf-whistling at her. But she doesn't pay attention because she doesn't look and act like an attention whore like other women teachers here.

I have mad respect for her. When she subsided his class before, she didn't take the guys seriously, and she ignored them. She helped me once when I was bullied by Emilia's friend Amelia and her goons.

"Oh, okay, students! Shut up and sit down!" She told us with a serious expression on her face, and she meant it. I saw around the room. I could see the others were quiet, watching and waiting for her to talk again.

She started talking again.

"Okay, now where were we?" I heard her say with a cocky smile on her face. She liked this power over this class. I wanted to laugh but didn't want her angry eyes on me like she was staring at the rude and rowdy students.

"Now, I got your attention, students." She said, and she turned around, and she was telling us to grab a math textbook.

"Take out your textbook and turn to Chapter 45 for the pop quiz inside the math book." I heard Miss Wilson tell us what to do. That was when I heard groans and moans of disappointment with the pop quiz.

That was when I heard her say.

"Oh, by the way, this will be fifty percent of your grade for the whole year." She said with a cocky smile, which looked more like an amused smirk.

That was when I chuckled under my voice, and I looked over at Emilia, and she was staring at me with the same expression. She laughed when Miss Wilson started being a smart-ass, which was funny.

I nodded my head at her, and I saw her nod her head too. Then I turned my head, bent down in my bag, got my math textbook, and started taking the pop quiz.
