Chapter 117 Please Be Mindful of Your Behavior 

As the distance between the two people gradually narrowed, Gaspard could no longer stand it and yelled, “Gwyneth!” 

It was the time of the day when employees arrived at their workplace. Many Glen Corporation employees were going in and out of the building. When they heard this, they could not help but look at them. 

Gwyneth scowled and sported a fake smile, asking. “Mr. Glen, what can I do for you?” 

Liam was standing not far from Gwyneth. He watched with crossed arms and had no intention of stepping forward. Up to this point, the two had never talked about Gwyneth’s family, but Liam knew that his wife did not want him to get involved in her family affairs just yet. 

Gaspard swept his eyes at Liam after hearing this. He was relieved when Liam remained silent. 

Gaspard roared, “Gwyneth! I’m asking you! Why can’t I enter the office? Did you do this to me?” 

“You don’t have to speak so loudly. I’m still young, and my hearing is fine,” Gwyneth mocked in a helpless tone. 

Liam chuckled secretly while lowering his head in the back. 

Gaspard’s face was now red from his rage. He yelled, “Stop messing with me, you little brat! Answer me! Did you do this to me?” 

“Of course I did. No one else can stop Mr. Glen from entering the building.” Gwyneth replied bluntly. 

Gaspard was so exasperated at her response that he thought he might just pass out. He cursed, “How could I have given birth to such an unfilial child like you? You ingrate! You have no shame at all!“* 

Gwyneth was still grinning scornfully. After hearing a string of reprimands, she did not even blink. She simply replied, “Yes, yes, you’re absolutely right. This is a question I’ve been wondering for over twenty years now. Mr. Glen, have you figured out the answer? If you have, 

you should share it with me.” 

Gaspard could continue if they argued with each other. However, he was at a loss as Gwyneth played along and responded with sarcasm. 

Gaspard asked, “What is it? Tell me! Why won’t you let me into the office!” 

For a moment, Gwyneth seemed to be thinking about it seriously before shrugging. She explained, “Actually, there’s no special reason.” 

“Then you…” 

“All I’m saying is that perhaps I did it because I’m the president of Glen Corporation and have the authority to forbid you from entering.” Gwyneth raised her chin slightly as she said this. 

Her smug posture attracted others for a second look. At least that was how Liam felt at that moment. 

Things were different in Gaspard’s eyes. He was unable to think clearly, and his mind was a chaotic mess, as if it were about to explode. His body shook violently, then he took a step forward and grabbed Gwyneth’s wrist by force. He raised the other hand and was about to 

slap her. 

When the security guard saw this, his knees went limp, and he broke out in a cold sweat. 

How could he allow Gaspard to assault the company’s president at the office entrance even though he was Gwyneth’s father? After taking this into consideration, the security guard hurriedly stepped forward to yank Gaspard away. 

Liam was standing behind Gwyneth. He stepped forward before Gaspard could do anything. Within a split second, he had Gaspard’s wrist 

in his hands. Liam had not used much force, and he was expressionless, but Gaspard cried out in agony. 

Liam warned Gaspard in an icy tone, “Mr. Glen, please mind your behavior.” 

Gaspard’s overwhelming emotions had made him forget about Liam, but the sharp pain in his wrist returned him to reality. He was so 

shocked that he forgot about the pain in his wrist when he tilted his head to look at Liam. 

He used to believe that Liam was aloof and difficult to get along with. The look on Liam’s lace and in his eyes was completely different. from before. Gaspard had the impression that the hand that was grabbing him was not holding his wrist but his neck. 

“MrMr. Luther…” 

Gaspard’s voice trembled uncontrollably, and his legs were shaking.

This was something new for her. She was used to going up against enemies alone, braving storms, and dealing with animosity, but now a man firmly stood in front of her without asking her permission. 

Thinking of this, Gwyneth bit her lower lip. She had never known what it was like to be protected before.

The security guard, who had run over to check if Gwyneth was injured, began perspiring heavily on his forehead. 

Gwyneth gave him a faint smile and shook her head gently. After that, she gave the security guard a look. The security guard understood what she meant. He quickly moved forward, bowed to Liam, and pulled Gaspard away.
