The Return

Izzy's POV

"Let him go!" I hear Mom yell as she tries to make a move. Bane glares over at her before pressing the knife closer to Charlie's neck. He whimpers while trying to wiggle away.

"Anyone makes a move and I won't hesitate to kill him." Bane sneers out before looking over at me.

"Now, Izzy, be a good little girl and call off your mutt. Tell him to release my mate." He says calmly with a smirk present on his disgusting face. I turn to Theo and see him still keeping a hold of the witch. He glares over at Bane before looking at me. I nod my head and he immediately drops her. She gasps for air before standing up and stumbling over to Bane. He smiles and kisses her lips. I gag at the sight but still keep my eyes on Charlie.

"There, now give him back!" I yell as I try to come near them. Bane steps back, shaking his head at me. My eyes widen before I narrow them.

"You want your brother, but I want something in exhange."

"What the hell do you want Bane!" Skylar growls out, clenching her fists tightly. Bane turns his direction to her and then I notice that Theo dissapeared. I try to discreetly look around for him but I don't see him.

"What are you doing?" I ask him through the mindlink. I don't get a reply back, only silence. I see that some others have also noticed that he's missing but they make no move to say anything about it. Luckily none of Banes army have noticed.

Many people are injured very badly while we have lost a few comrades.

"I want Izzy." I hear Bane say making my head snap over to his direction.

"What! No! I will never go with you Bane!" I snarl out. He chuckles darkly before walking closer to me.

"Then I'll take the boy. You choose Izzy, it's either you or him. Tick tock." My eyes widen in shock before I look at everyone. They also have shocked expressions.

"Don't you dare do it Izzy!" I hear Theo yell in my head, making me wince slightly. I look down, trying to not let my tears fall.

"I'm sorry Theo, but I have to do this. I can't let him take Charlie. He needs our parents. Everything will be okay."

"What about me? I need you Izzy. I just got you and I'm not letting you go." He says with a soft whimper.

"I love you Theo. I always will." I say to him before shutting him out, ignoring all of his protests.

"Fine I'll go with you Bane." I say before stepping forward. He smirks before taking the knife away from Charlie and shoving him to the ground. He cries out in pain and I immediately rush to his side. I pull him into my embrace before checking him over, making sure that he's not to injured. He looks up at me with watery eyes.

"D-Don't g-go S-Sissy!" He cries out while hugging me tightly. I let out a sob before hugging him to me. I hide my face in his hair, biting my lip to keep myself from crying harder.

"Alright lets go!" I hear before I feel someone clutch my hair tightly and begin to drag me away. I grab a hold of the arm thats pulling me, screaming loudly. I can see that Charlie makes a move to go after me but Dad catches him. He screams out to me, trying to wiggle out of Dads hold.

"If any of you try something, I'll kill her on the spot." Bane spits out before walking back into the forrest. Someone picks me up and throws me over their shoulder. I look up and can see through teary eyes that everyone wants to move but they can't. I look down and sigh in defeat.

They're safe now. That's all that matters.

My head snaps up as I hear a loud growl before I feel the person carrying me being tackled to the ground. I fall out of their grasp and roll across the ground, hitting a tree. I groan in pain before attempting to stand up. I look up and am shocked to see Beau and Theo fighting the group. I hear more growls approaching before Skylar and them return. I smile before standing up. I ignore my throbbing back, before running at another witch.

He snarls at me, trying to throw me off his back but I wrap my arm around him neck and cut off his air supply. Having no weapons makes it harder to find a way to kill them, so suffocating is the easiest. He eventually falls limp in my arms. I look up at see Bane making a move towards the forrest. I growl, shifting into my wolf and running after him.

He turns around and sees me approaching so he begins to run.

Coward.

I think before howling and running after him. He dodges fallen trees, rocks and many other things but I get closer and closer before I jump on him and attempt to bite into his neck. He pushes me off of him before he straddles me and pins me to the ground. I snarl snapping at him as he decides to smirk down at me.

"If I can't kill Theo, I guess I can kill you." He says before his eyes go wide and he gasps. He looks at me with wide eyes before looking down. I look down as well and see a large branch protruding out of his abdomen. I shove him off and quickly stand up. I look to the side and see Theo breathing heavily. He smiles at me and rushes over to me. I shift quickly before wrapping my arms around his neck.

"You're safe now."

"Bane!" I hear his mate yell as she looks down at her mate. She cries out in pain before glarring over at us.

"You'll pay for this!" She yells before her hands begin to glow and she throws fireballs at me. I stand in shock and wait for the hit but it never comes. I scream as I see Theo on the ground. He lays on his back, groaning softly. I see that he's badly burned and losing a lot of blood. I collapse next to him, pulling him into my arms. I hear Banes mate yell, looking up at her I see that Uncle Kyle attacked her. Skylar rushes over to us quickly before putting her hands on his chest.

"Come on, please work. Please!" She yells as she presses on his chest working. She lets out a sob as she pulls her hands back and turns away from him.

"T-Theo?" I say to him as I see his eyes fluttering. He coughs before smiling up at me softly.

"I-I'm g-glad t-that y-you w-were m-my m-mate. I-I l-love y-you I-Izzy..."
