The Return

Izzy's POV

It all happened in slow motion. Theo smirked before all of the witches attacked. I stood there frozen as I saw Theo duck before jumping onto one of them and snapping his neck. One of them attacked from behind and jumped onto him, putting his ax around Theos neck, chocking him. I blinked before running towards them. Just as I was about to reach them I was tackled to the ground.

I look up and see a girl above me. She goes to stomp on me with her shoe but I roll over, missing her foot by a centimetre. She growls before I see light coming out of her hand. I gasp, jumping up and dodging the fire ball she sends my way. I look around me and see that Theo got that guy off of him.

I shift into my wolf as I see another one sneaking up on him, holding a dagger. Just as he's about to stab Theo in the back, I bite down into his shouler, pulling out flesh. He screams in pain but I don't listen before biting into his neck. He falls limp in my mouth and I drop him.

I growl as I feel someone jump on my back before they stab me in my shouler. I howl in pain before rolling over, trying to shake him off. He does eventually fall off and I quickly attack him. I can still feel the knife in my shoulder but I make no effort to remove it before attacking another one. By the time she's dead I see that the whole group is down. I look over at Theo and see he's a bit scratched up but not that bad.

I run over to him, checking if everything is not that bad. I whimper as he takes the knife out of my shoulder. I look up at him and see that his shirt shredded. He growls looking over at Bane with narrowed eyes. Bane stands there smirking but you can see a hint of anger as he looks at the dead corpses.

"I think we trained you too well Theo. To bad you're still going to die. Get them!" He yells out. They all start to run at us but suddenly stop and look behind us. I turn around and sigh in relief when I see everyone standing there.

"Bane, leave now and we'll spare you." I hear Sky say to him as she steps forward, standing next to us. Her fists are clenched tightly as she glares over at the enemy. Bane lets out a condescending laugh before glaring at us.

"I'm finally going to kill you Skylar and then I'll be the ruler of the supernatural world. Now get them!" He yells before everyone charges. I snarl and go straight for another witch, going straight for his neck. He dodges my attack before slamming into my side and kicking me in my ribcage. I whimper in pain but ignore it and jump him again. I quickly kill him before moving onto the next one.

I hear a scream from behind me. I turn to look and see Aunt Riley being attacked by two witches and an angel. I rush over to her side and tackle a charging witch to the ground before ripping their head off. I see that Riley killed the other witch which only leaves the Angel. She seems to be in her teen years by the looks of it.

"P-Please d-don't kill m-me. I-I didn't w-want to d-do this." She stutters as she begins to sob, falling to the floor and curling herself into a ball. I look at Riley before running away from them.

I yelp as I feel a heavy weight on my back, I look up to see it's Banes mate. I snarl, snapping at her. I whimper in pain as she pushes something against my neck, cutting off my air. I try to claw at her face but I can't reach her. My vision starts to become blurry and I can feel that I'm about to pass out. Eventually all I see is a blurry person infront of me. Then suddenly the weight is off of me and I can breathe. I gasp for air before choking. I look up and see both Theo and her fighting tooth and nail. I go to help him but am tackled once again.

I look up and see it's an angel, though she's not like the rest. Her power is stronger.

Angel Queen.

I get my hind legs underneath her stomach before shoving her off of me. She catches herself in mid air, glaring down at me. I shift back, ignoring the fact that I'm naked.

"Why are you doing this?" I yell at her angrily. She chuckles bitterly before shaking her head.

"He is mine! James is mine! Not hers!"

"She is his mate! Not yours!" I yell at her, clenching my fists tightly. She screams in anger before flying down and charging at me. Just as she reaches me, I jump over her and shift in mid air. She crashes to the ground but quickly jumps up, glaring over at me.

"You'll pay for that mutt!" She yells before coming at me. I snarl, running at her. I jump and bite down on one of her wings. She cries out in pain. I pull until the wing is off. She drops to the ground, clutching the area where her former wing was. I use the distraction to my advantage and bite down on her shoulder. She continues to scream but eventually falls limp.

I release my hold on her before seeing that she's still breathing, only unconscious.

I hear more snarls and see Theo and Banes mate still fighting. I see that Theo is limping while she's clutching her arm tigtly while they both circle each other. Theo jumps at her, shifting and getting a hold around her neck, suffocating her. She thrashes around, trying to breath but it doesn't help. Just as I'm about to go help Theo, I hear a scream I did not expect here. I turn around and see Bane standing there with a huge smirk on his face, while holding a knife to the persons neck.

"Izzy, you better call off your mutt of a mate. Or would you rather let me kill your baby brother?"

"H-Help m-me S-Sissy!"
