The Return

Theo/Gages POV

"I hope you're all enjoying your stay so far." The Alpha says to us around the dinner table. After the meeting everyone left and we went for dinner. They apologized for not having a proper meal, Saturday's are 'pizza nights.'

We don't believe it one bit. This pack has secrets and we both know that mom has her theories as well. Dad? Not sure really, if he did we can't be too sure.

"This is perfectly fine Warrick, pizza is my favourite, so no harm done." Mom says then continue to munch on her third slice of pizza. We chuckle softly as she smears sauce on her upper lip. Father uses it to his advantage and cleans it off for her, in not the most appropriate ways. Luckily no one, besides us, was looking.

"So Theo, we've all heard the stories about you. Being taken away and everything. I'm just curious, where did you stay while you were gone?" The Alpha asks us suddenly.

We look at him then back down at our food, keeping our emotions hidden. We sigh and look at everyone at the table. "No offense Sir but it's really none of your business but if you must know my Uncle Steven brought me up-"

"Steven? The man who helped Bane? His right-hand man? Why on earth would you speak of him as family? He's a sick bastard who deserves to rot in-"

"Shut up! You don't ever speak about him like that! Do it again and I will end you." We scream at him as we hold a knife to his throat.

"Theo!" Mother screams as she stands up, grabbing hold of our shoulders to try and calm us down. It doesn't work. We pull back and stomp away from the table.

We walk out the house, still fuming. Sure he made mistakes but he always felt guilty, I never once hated him. Sure I got mad when he first told me but I forgave him, he never gave me a reason to hate him.

We automatically shift, not caring about our clothes and run through the forrest. We sigh as we feel the wind in our fur and the forrest flashing by us.

When we finally stop running we see we're by a huge rock in the forrest. It looks comfy so we climb up and lay down. Looking up we see many stars, shining bright. It's such a shame to think something so beautiful will die in time. Everything dies eventually.

We look down and rest our head on our paws, closing our eyes to relax.

Flashback

"Dad!" I yell as I rush into the house, not noticing that the house is eerily quiet. "Dad there's something wrong!" I yell putting my bag down.

I check the kitchen first but see no one there. Just as I'm approaching the staircase I see my whole family, sitting in the living room, watching me.

I walk hesitantly towards them. "Is everything okay Theo?" My Dad asks as he smiles softly at me. He looks relaxed but I see worry and the stress in his expression. His hands are twitching and he's running them through his hair a lot.

I sit down, still watching them all cautiously. "Um...well no, something happened today-"

"You shifted, didn't you?" He asks me as he tells everyone to leave us for a minute. They all quickly stand up and rush out the room, throwing me smiles of pity and worry.

"Y-Yeah I-I did but, I'm not a werewolf Dad. How could this happen? I'm just a late vampire, thats all-"

"Do you really believe you're a vampire after shifting into a wolf?" He asks me sarcastically. There's my Dad, always being sarcastic. Not the time Theo!

"Son, I'm not your real father and you're not my real son." He says bluntly, looking me in the eye. All I see is truth. I'm shocked as I look at the man I called father for my whole life.

"W-What? You're lying! You are my dad! Lies-"

"Theo calm down. I know this is a lot to handle but please, just hear me out and I'll tell you the whole truth." I gulp and sit down. Do I really want to know? What if my real parents didn't want me, and dumped me somewhere? What if they died? What if they have another child? What if-

"Theo!" Father-I mean Steven yells, trying to get my attention. "Alright now, where to begin..."

We suddenly jump, hearing screaming coming from nearby. We instantly run towards the scream, the sound increasing.

As I get closer to the source I see its the old building that was suspicious. "Ready to be spies Gage?" I smirk inside our head, he only grunts shaking his head. "Time to find out what their hiding." He says and begins to stalk towards the building.

The screaming stopped but that doesn't mean we're turning back now.

As we approach the building we smell that scent again, but we also smell Beau.

We sneak quietly into the building, listening to anything we hear. We hear some words being mumbled but we're to far away to hear what they're saying.

As we approach, the words become more clear.

"Stop moving!"

Beau.

"P-Please B-Beau, s-stop. I-I beg of y-you!"

Another voice screams out, its a female. My hunch is that its that missing girl.

"S-Shut up." He says his voice going softer.

As we turn the corner we see Beau with a girl on the floor and his fist is raised. We shift back, ignoring the fact that we're naked.

"What the hell is going on here?" We yell as we stomp over to them. We shove Beau off of the girl and stand over her, bearing our teeth at him.

"This is none of your business Theo, so get out of here!" He yells at us and tries to attack. We quickly dodge his fist, grabbing it then twisting it so its behind his back. He grunts in pain but continues to try to get out of my hold.

"What I see is you harming someone, who probably doesn't deserve it." We say shoving him away. He falls to the ground and hits his head on the wall. We know that it wasn't a huge hit, it will only knock him out.

When he's passed out we turn to the girl on the floor. We crouch down and extend our hand to her. She whimpers and tries to move away from us.

"Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you. It's okay." She looks me up and down, and hesitantly places her hand in mine. Her hand is so small compared to ours.

"I'm guessing that you're Issabella, correct?" I ask her, as I pick her up slowly, making sure not to scare her. She only nods and moves more into my chest.

When mom finds out, this pack is gonna be in huge trouble.
