Chapter 29
Everyone watched through the surveillance video as Anna bullied Lindsay. They watched as Anna hit her, and as Lindsay moved to retaliate, Anna encouraged the children around her to attack Lindsay.
Randall’s face was stormy with anger, his eyes dark with murderous intent.
Daisy was also overcome with fury, choosing to momentarily forget about her image of an upper–class wealthy lady as she yelled at the top of her voice.
Principal Hill, is this truly the behavior of children under your care? How could she be so violent? She not only hurt our previous Lindsay’s leg, but she also made such impertinent remarks and got the other children to hit Lindsay! How dare
she!
Daisy had always loved Lindsay and would not stand to see her wronged.
To bully my granddaughter like that, did she think the Reeves family would not stand up for Lindsay?”
It was at this moment that two young boys could be seen through the surveillance video standing up and seeming to be protecting Lindsay.
Daisy’s sunken face seemed to lighten up a little at this new development.
“Who are these two young boys?”
Principal Hill nervously replied, “These two boys, Oliver and Milo, just transferred here today.”
“Oliver and Milo, such wonderful names! They even protected my precious Lindsay, such good boys!”
Daisy seemed to approve of Oliver and Milo standing up for Lindsay so righteously.
Watching Oliver and Milo in the surveillance video, Daisy’s gaze suddenly changed, and her eyebrows furrowed.
“Why do these two boys look more familiar the longer I look at them?”
Looking up at Randall, it instantly dawned on her.
“Randall, these two boys look so much like you. They are almost a splitting image of you when you were a child. Especially the one on the left, even his disposition is exactly the same.
Christine felt her heart jump. She, too, felt that her two sons, especially Oliver, looked too similar to Randall, almost as if Randall was their father.
It did not make sense to her. She never even saw Randall when she was pregnant. “How could my two sons look so much like Randall? It is truly unsettling
“To be able to find two kids that look so much like me, their mother must be truly amazing”
Hearing those words, Christine flinched. She knew that Randall was ridiculing her. He probably believed that she found two children who looked like Randall to get close to him.
Daisy did not seem to understand what her son meant, but what was important now was to settle the issue of Lindsay being bullied.
Daisy turned to the principal furiously and said, “How do you propose we solve this problem?”
The principal was scared out of her wits. The people involved in this incident were too influential. On the one hand, she had Anna, the princess of the Foster family. On the other, she had Lindsay, the princess of the Reeves family. She could not afford to offend either family.
“I will pay the Foster family a visit tomorrow and get Anna to apologize.”
Daisy hummed coldly in reply and scorned in disdain. “Bullying my precious Lindsay, and all we get is an apology?”
The principal anxiously wiped the sweat on her forehead and said, “Mrs. Reeves, I will personally pay the Foster family a visit tomorrow and ask them to take responsibility for Anna’s actions.
Daisy’s face was cold and expressionless. “Tomorrow?”
The principal was so scared, trembling with fear, and unsure of what to do.
“They dared to hurt Lindsay. I will make them pay.”
The principal kept her head down, sweating profusely but too afraid to speak.
Randall glared at the principal coldly and said, “As principal, how could you be unaware if one of your students was hurt this badly? Are you even fit to call yourself the principal?”

“I am truly sorry, Mr. Reeves. I was careless. I am aware that I no longer deserve the position of Principal. I will take responsibility and resign immediately, the principal said as she bowed in apology.
Being the principal of Star Kindergarten paid well, but she was unwilling to lose her life by angering Randall. She would much rather resign.
“Get out.”
“Sorry, sorry.”
The principal repeatedly bowed as she hastily exited the room.
Daisy looked at Randall and scowled. “What do you plan to do about this?”
“I will settle it. You do not have to worry
Daisy gave a slight nod in response. She knew that her son would not let her precious granddaughter suffer.
“Children do not know any better. Their parents should know better. It is their responsibility to teach them to be more sensible.”
Even if the Foster family was also very influential, they should not expect to simply get away with no consequences if they dared to bully the granddaughter of the Reeves family.
Just then, Lindsay wrote on the board.
[Granny, Daddy, please do not be mad. I have older brothers‘ protection. No one will bully me again.]
Daisy knew that Lindsay was talking about the two newcomers.
She had never heard Lindsay address anyone as an older brother.
Daisy gently asked, “Precious, are you talking about the two new boys? Do you like them?”
Lindsay nodded and wrote on the board.
[Lindsay likes them.]
After seeing Oliver and Milo protect Lindsay, Christine felt very pleased. She believed that true gentlemen should protect young ladies. However, she did not expect to attract the attention of the Reeves family. Just thinking about it made her
uneasy.
Randall observed Christine intently. “What does this lady want? Just to get close to me, Christine enrolled her son in the same kindergarten as my daughter. They are even in the same class!”
“Star Kindergarten is not a place where just anyone could get into. This woman must really be something.
Just then, Daisy said to Randall, Anna must be punished for being the one to hurt Lindsay, but we should properly thank Oliver and Milo for standing up for Lindsay and helping her. Pick a time and invite the two boys over for tea.”
Upon hearing that, Christine frantically attempted to reject the offer. “No, it is quite alright. There is no need for that.
Daisy looked at Christine, puzzled. It was then that Christine realized it was weird for her to reject that offer as she was now Dr. Nancy.
In amusement, Randall looked over at Christine, who was frantically rejecting the offer. “To be so desperate to be close to me yet still reject so fervently, what a joke*
Feeling everyone’s eyes on her, Christine suddenly felt extremely awkward.
Randall clearly was not planning on simply letting this go. He raised his eyebrows at her and taunted. “Do you know these two boys?”
Christine instantly felt even more resigned. “This asshole, bringing up things he should just leave alone.”
“They were my patients once. They are children who do good deeds without asking for anything in return. There is no need to thank them especially.
Christine awkwardly lied, hoping they would accept this as an explanation, as Randall slowly moved closer to her and taunted. The way you said it just now, one would almost believe you were their mother.”
At this point, Christine wished nothing more than to stomp on Randall just to shut him up. Daisy looked over at Christine and asked. “Since you treated them once, you must know who their parents are?”
The two boys seemed to have piqued Daisy’s interest. After all, they looked too much like her son. She was dying to find out who their parents were.
Christine knew Daisy’s curiosity was only because she wanted to learn more about the two children’s backgrounds.

Lindsay suddenly raised her board.
[My leg hurts a lot.]
Daisy hurriedly hugged Lindsay. “My cute Lindsay. How dare she bully you. I’ll never let her off.”
