The Rejected Luna and Three Twin Babies by Bobavenus

Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Third person POV

All the Alphas were startled as they heard the sound of someone falling as well as the shattering of something. The conversation came to a halt, all staring at the unconscious Omega at the far end of the

room.

“What is it?”

Seeing Olivia there, Aldric was the first to go to her in a panic.

“Who is she?” the Alphas asked.

They didn’t know what made Alpha Aldric so worried about a fallen Omega. Alpha Aldric could have immediately called another Omega to take the Omega away.

“Why does Alpha Aldric care so much, that girl is just an ordinary Omega, right?” asked another.

Arthur was becoming someone who cared little about something he didn’t think was important. But the conversation of the Alphas made him interested in the peculiarities of the host Alpha, Aldric.

Arthur’s gaze, which had been on the Alphas, shifted to Aldric and a woman at the other end. Aldric appeared to be carrying the Omega. Another thing caught Arthur’s attention, the woman’s hair was… golden brown in color.

“Who is she?” muttered Arthur absentmindedly as he squinted, sensing strangeness.

“She’s just an Omega, Alpha Arthur. Weren’t we talking about her? You’re not focusing,” the other Alpha said.

Arthur shook his head with his gaze fixed on Alpha Aldric over there. That wasn’t what he meant. He knew it was an Omega. But why did it feel like it was Olivia.

The hair was very similar to Olivia’s. Only the length is different. Was this really Olivia or was he just looking at her wrong?

Arthur looked at Aldric’s back and could only see part of her hair.

‘I’ll ask Alpha Aldric later, Arthur’s mind was between being sure and not if it was Olivia.

But if he thought about it, it couldn’t be Olivia. There was no way the former woman could get into a big Pack like this. However, Arthur would convince her later when talking directly to Alpha Aldric.

“I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the incident this afternoon. I hope our next meeting will go even better,” Aldric said kindly to his guests as they were about to leave.

Arguably, Aldric was the friendliest Alpha among them, though that did not mean he was weak, his strength could not be underestimated. His warm demeanor contrasted with Arthur who was known to be the coldest and harshest.

“No big deal for us, the Alphas agreed. Thank you, your Pack’s meal was very satisfying. We take our leave, until we meet again.”

Aldric told Omega to send his guests off while he took care of some business. The Alphas went to say goodbye while one Alpha just stayed where he was without even moving, making Aldric wonder.

“Alpha Arthur?” asked Aldric with both eyebrows raised and a faint smile.

“Alpha Aldric, can I stay longer?” Arthur asked with a flat face, but no hint of arrogance.

Aldric pulled out a chair and sat across from Arthur until they were separated by a table.

“Of course,” Aldric was a little astonished in his heart. Even so, he remained friendly. “How strange. Do you need anything from me, Alpha Arthur?”

Arthur shook his head. “No, no. I just wanted to ask a question.”

“Go ahead.”

“Have you received any new wolves in your Pack lately?” Arthur asked to the point.

From the look on his face, Aldric looked confused. His thick eyebrows drew together. “What do you

mean?”

“Well, I was looking for someone. And that Omega female you were carrying earlier, I felt… from her hair like she was the one I was looking for.”

Aldric was silent for a long time. His intelligent brain was connecting several things. He remembered about Olivia. She had said she herself was a rejected Luna, meaning an Alpha mate. Was it possible that Olivia’s mate was Alpha Arthur?

“No, it’s possible that Alpha Arthur is looking for another wolf.

“Who are you looking for?” Aldric asked curiously.

“None of your business,” Arthur said still with a straight face. “I was just asking, do you accept new wolves?”

Aldric was no stranger to Arthur’s stern demeanor, the Alpha was different from the others.

“No,” Aldric lied. I don’t know where he got the idea to lie. “It’s an old Omega who lives with me.”

Sighing, Arthur gave a small nod. “Alright. Maybe I just saw it wrong. Thank you very much.”

Aldric nodded with his warm face that he always showed to everyone. “Of course Alpha Arthur, it’s my pleasure. Anything else you need to tell me?”

Shaking his head, Arthur stood up from the chair. “Nothing, that’s enough. I’m off, thanks again for today.”

Aldric escorted Arthur out of the castle, then closed the door. He had other business to attend to, wanting to see Olivia who might be awake.

“Alpha Aldric?” Olivia immediately got up from her bed when she saw Aldric coming. She approached Aldric with her head bowed. I’m sorry I made a mistake, I’m sorry I embarrassed this Pack.”

“Why are you being like this? You are very polite to me, we are friends,” Aldric said casually. “Sit back down. I know you’re tired.”

“It can’t be like that, you are an Alpha, sorry I just found out. Sorry if I’ve been presumptuous all this time, Oliv said seriously.

“You’re too much.” Aldric chuckled. “By the way, who was the cruel person who told you to stay with Omega and work that hard?”

Olivia shook her head. This is really my own will, I deserve to be an Omega.”

“You’re too stubborn, Oliv.”

Olivia just bowed her head while sitting on the end of the bed. She was currently in a room to rest.

“I still feel sorry for making that mistake earlier,” Olivia said in a low voice.

“It’s okay, it’s really no big deal,” Aldric said. He thought it was a good time to ask. “I want to talk about something quite important.”

Olivia looked up. Her gaze met Aldric’s ocean-blue eyes.

“You said you didn’t want to talk about this, but just now someone asked you where you were in this castle.”

Deg.

Olivia stiffened. Could it be someone she was avoiding the most?

“Who…

“You look nervous. Is he someone you’re trying to avoid?”

Olivia nodded. Hesitantly she still asked for reassurance. “Is that person… Alpha Arthur?” she asked nervously.
