Chapter 90
“No way!” Giselle said as she stared at me and I nodded.
“Please–take that thing away from me,” I glanced at Norman, and Eve nodded.
He took it away and walked inside.
“She was on her way to find you,” Eve began and I nodded.
“I know. I met her. She’s on her way to Silverpine. You have to stop her, she’s on a dangerous mission.”
“More dangerous than looking for you?” Giselle scoffed.
“Look, I have a lot to say. Can I come in?” I questioned and Eve shrugged as she moved away from the door to allow me entry.
As soon as I got inside, I plopped onto the sofa and raised my head slowly as I felt pairs of eyes on me.
“How did you find us?” It was Eve as she glared at me suspiciously.
“You’re not going to believe this,” I said as I held her gaze and Rolan scoffed.
“There’s something odd about you,” he pointed out and I nodded.
“Because I’m not me!” I yelled and raised my hand quickly as Norman pointed the gun at me again.
I didn’t know how to convince them of who I was, but I knew I had to try.
“Look, Selene–I met her, she made a spell and-”
Giselle interrupted me quickly. “You mean, you’re not Selene?”
I nodded my head. “Honestly, I’m not her-”
I couldn’t complete my sentence as I saw Eve furiously glare at Rolan before landing on me.
“Then Who the fuck are you?”

Chapter 90
I didn’t know what to say to make them believe me.
I
“Allow me to explain as best as I can. We have the same goal here—I swear!” I glanced at Giselle with plead eyes as she was the one who might be kind enough to help me.
“Then explain!” Eve yelled with a frown etched on her face.
I swallowed hard as I began to explain how I had gone to Greyvine and everything that had transpired when met her.
“I swear she tricked me and now I can’t remember anything that happened before all that—I do, but I can’t s anything.” My hands flailed as I spoke.
“What’s with everyone and being unable to say Things nowadays?” Rolan said with a small chuckle as the corners of his eyes crinkled.
I knew he was talking about Norman and Norman knew too as he shot him a death glare.
“How are we to believe all these?” Eve questioned and I thought of something to say, but the only thing I could remember was Greyson’s plan.
He would be surprised to see ‘Me‘ there and might say something he shouldn’t say to her. She even had my memories so it wouldn’t be difficult to get him to believe it was her.
“She’s currently in Silverpine, as me. She wants Lucien,” I revealed and it was then that they understood as they shook their heads.
“If what you’re saying is true–then we can’t let that happen,” Giselle said, furrowing her brows as she made to
sit.
“What about Rielle—Rielle would have her thrown in the cells as soon as she steps foot into the mansion,” Eve pointed out and I shook my head.
“Rielle is in the cell currently, apparently Lucien realized that he didn’t need to keep up his pretense.”
“Pretence?”
I nodded, “She said he wanted to be closer to her to get back our children, and,” I brought out the piece of paper that Selene had written as a clue to finding Kai.

“He found out that Kai and the Crone escaped already. They separated due to safety issues,” I glanced at Norman who had dropped the gun by now.
“Agatha’s dead,” I revealed and heard gasps from them.
“She’s–how?” Giselle questioned. She seemed to be the most shocked.
“It was–she said the crone made it to Silverpine and then—her tongue had been cut off-,”
Giselle gasped and from the corner of my eyes, I saw Eve hold Norman’s arm.
Rolan patted him on the back. “I’m Sorry man, she was one tough cookie, I’m sure she gave them a hard time.”
“Here’s the clue,” I passed the paper to Eve who glanced at it with furrowed brows.
“What’s this?”
“I agreed to this in order to get Kai back–she tricked me and instead gave me this,” I pointed at the paper.
“She said if I wanted to find him, I needed to solve this puzzle.”
Giselle looked like she was crying as she held my hands.
“I’m sorry you had to go through all that.”
“I did warn you! I tried to stop you but you were just too stubborn!” Eve yelled and I sighed.
They were all right. I shouldn’t have gone, but if I had stayed back, I wouldn’t have known that Kai wasn’t with the blood creek anymore.
“Now’s not the time to apportion blame,” I said slowly as I stood up.
“We should all go back to Silverpine–Rielle is out of the way now, the only threat is her, and she’ll not stop until she gets what she wants!”
“Which is?” Giselle raised a brow questionably.
“Revenge! She probably blames the whole of Silverpine for what happened to her!”

“I did warn you against meeting her,” Eve said as she stood up too.
“But you’re right, we have to go back to Silverpine. But first, we have to find Kai.”
“Lucien must’ve found out where he is,” I said slowly.
I had thought about it. There might’ve been something that the crone had told him.

“I don’t think we should all go,” Rolan said and all eyes turned to him. I raised a brow, demanding to know why he said that.
I
“I for one, have no business in Silverpine and I think you should find your son first. The rest can go if they so wish, maybe to let Lucien know about the happenings.” He explained and I shook my head.
“There’s no way Lucien would trust any of them. Only I could try to talk to him.”
“Why do you think he’ll believe you? We all here didn’t believe you at first, have you forgotten?”
I swallowed hard. He was right, but there was nothing else I could do.
