Chapter TWENTYSIX-MEETING BETWEEN THE PACKS
Ace POV
I sat in the conference room with my cousins Samson and Spencer, Alpha Patrick, Alpha Michael, Alpha Drake, and his brother Derek, Alpha Wendell, Alpha Sarah, and Beta Harold. All the other Betas, including mine and my Gamma, were present. I gave the floor to Beta Jason as he spoke to everyone about Silas and Blake and the involvement of Alpha Simon and the Stone Valley pack.
The girls also stated that their Father had alliances with vampires, werebears, and some rogue wolf leader with about a dozen rogues at his disposal. Yvette fully recovered, thanks to Mom healing her wolf. She was up and walking around the next day. The first thing we did before I called an official meeting was for Beta Jason and Freya to take Yvette to the Red River pack border and formally reject Silas as her mate.
She did so willingly, and Silas felt the pain of the rejection. His Gamma Tony immediately left the pack that same day, joined us for this meeting, and gave us a complete rundown of how Silas and Blake were operating. I wouldn't take the fight to them. I wanted him to come to me. I was glad everyone was willing to pull together to end Silas and Blake.
"This is ridiculous," I heard Alpha Drake say.
"Why is that, Alpha Drake?" I heard him scoff as his brother looked at him like he was crazy.
"Silas has been my friend for years, and he wouldn't dare do something like this," he said.
"Well, you don't know your so-called friend as well as you think you do," I told him as he growled at me.
Apollo pushed forward and let out a louder and more vicious growl as Alpha Drake backed down and bowed his head.
"What the fuck?!" I heard everyone shout.
"The Silva bloodline is of royal Alpha blood, and my wolf is no exception."
"I may not be the Alpha King and sit on a throne, but Apollo will not tolerate blatant disrespect."
"I am the Alpha of all Alphas, like my Father before me and his Father before him," I said as everyone nodded in understanding and looked to see Alpha Drake sneering at me, his lip quivering in a snarl.
"Do you have something to add, Alpha Drake?" he scoffed and grumbled under his breath.
"Such bullshit," I heard him mumble.
"Drake! Are you serious right now?!"
"Are you seriously still siding with Silas and Blake after what they did?!"
"The evidence is right there, and you're still being a dickhead about it?!" I heard Derek shout at him.
Drake growled at his brother and stood up.
"Midnight Moon will not be a part of this fight!"
"I am the Alpha, and I make the decisions concerning my pack!" he growled.
"You're an idiot, and Dad made the mistake of making you the Alpha!" Derek shouted as my parents came in along with Drake Sr. I stood up as my Dad shook his head at me.
I watch Alpha Drake turn to his Dad as his Father shakes his head at his son.
"I'm very disappointed in you, son."
"We have been allies to the Blue Eclipse pack for many generations."
"For you to choose Alpha Silas over the other Alphas in this room shows me your true character," Drake stared at his Father as he spoke and growled viciously.
I heard Drake Sr. laugh at his son.
"You forget, boy, I was an Alpha for a long time."
"I may be old, but I can still kick your ass," I mind-linked my warriors to come and retain Drake Jr. as his Father spoke to him.

Derek Reed

My warriors retained Drake Jr. as he growled and lashed out at his Father.
"You will regret this!"
"I hope Silas and Blake burn your packs to the ground!" he growled and started partially shifting. I had a mind linked Dr. Scott to come and administer a wolf's bane shot to control Drake Jr.
"The elders will collect him from Midnight Moon, and Derek will be made Alpha."
"Alpha Ace, I apologize for Drake Jr's outburst and how he traded sides to be with the enemy," I raised my hand and shook my head at Drake Sr.
"No need to apologize, sir."
"Derek was the one who pointed out a while ago about Drake Jr's flaws and brought them to my attention."
"It was noted that Silas also has spies in certain packs to obtain information to know how to attack us," I watched as Drake Sr. stared at me intently.
"Do we know which packs?" he asked.
"All of the packs except for Blue Eclipse."
"Silas was too smart for that since he realized that Alpha Ace's Mother had the gift of foresight," Derek told his Father. I watched as he sighed and rubbed his temples.
"Derek, when we return to Midnight Moon, we need to sniff out the traitors in the pack," Drake Sr. said. I cleared my throat and got everyone's attention.
"Sir, it's best if we don't show our hands and tip Silas off that we know about his spies."
"I think we should keep our schedules and routines the same."
"That way, he doesn't get suspicious," I said. I watched him think over and saw my Father whisper in his ear, and he turned to look at me.
"Wise decision, Alpha Ace," I nodded as he tilted his head toward me.
Rachel POV
I sat in the castle's family room, entertaining some of the Lunas. The only two Alphas who didn't officially have Lunas were Alpha Michael of the Dark Moon pack and Alpha Spencer of the Silver Moon pack. We were all discussing things like the latest fashion trends and pack stuff.
I saw Luna Kimberly stiffen and heard a commotion in the foyer as we all got up from our seats to see our warriors carrying a man.
"What is going on?" I asked as the warriors turned to me and bowed. I noticed that the man was Alpha Drake from the Midnight Moon pack.
"Luna, Alpha Drake has been detained," Tristan said and bowed.
"Why?" I asked.
"Luna, Alpha Drake has been detained because he has sided with the enemy and was removed from his Alpha position by his Father," I heard a gasp and turned to see Luna Kimberly with her hand over her mouth.
"That's not possible! Drake would never!" she shouted.
"He basically said he would not help us and that Silas had been his friend for many years," I heard my mate's deep voice as he and the rest of the Alphas walked toward us.
"He confessed that out of his mouth," Ace added as tears sprung from Luna Kimberly's eyes.
"I have a confession to make as well," Kimberly said, wiping her eyes and looking at me.
"Rachel, I'm sorry, but I was once Silas's mistress after he started dating you."
"Drake and I aren't real mates. Silas and I kept seeing each other regularly while he dated you and more after he became Alpha."
"He convinced me to take Drake as my chosen mate to spy on Midnight Moon, promising to make me his Luna," I gasped and heard growls around the room.
"Silas just used Drake's friendship to end Midnight Moon so he could easily attack, but when I heard of his obsession over you."
"I decided I've had enough of his lies and will gladly take whatever punishment I deserve," Kimberly held her head down and sobbed into her hands.
The fact that Silas had time to cheat on me with this many women was shocking. I wondered how many more were there.
"How many?" I asked as tears glistened from my eyes.
"How many what?" I heard Kimberly ask.
"How many women?" I heard Ace growl lowly.
"Little flower, it's not important," he said as he stepped closer and wrapped me in his arms.
"I was with that monster for four years and lost my virginity to him."
"I should know how many women he has had and why I'm suddenly the object of his obsession. When he can have any woman he wants," I heard Ace sigh and hold me close as I stared at Kimberly.
"More than you would want to know, Rachel."
"Silas was a player and still is. You were too blind and naive to see it."
"I'm sorry to be harsh, but it's true," I sighed and rubbed my hands against my growing bump.
"He's obsessed because you are an Alpha's daughter."
"Silas rejected his fated mate because she was human, and he didn't want her."
"Even though Yvette is the daughter of an Alpha, too, your pack holds more prestige than hers," I looked up at Kimberly as she held her hands out for the silver cuffs, and the warriors hesitantly looked at Ace.
"Take her to the dungeons, and we will decide on her punishment," Ace said as the warriors put the silver cuffs on her, and I heard her hiss from the pain.
I watched the warriors escort her as she walked by and looked me in the eye.
"I'm sorry," she mouthed as the elevator doors closed.
After the incident with Kimberly, the warriors escorted an unconscious Drake to the SUV. They loaded him in the back with silver handcuffs. I watched as Drake Sr. and Derek shook Ace's hand.
"We will be in touch, Alpha Ace, and once the elders come up with a verdict for Drake Jr., we can finally be rid of Silas Cartier and Blake Sullivan for good," Derek told Ace.
"I look forward to that, and Derek, congratulations on becoming the new Alpha of the Midnight Moon pack."
"I know you will be one hell of a great Alpha," Ace told Derek as he tilted his head toward him.
After Midnight Moon left, all the other Alphas except Samson, Spencer, and Patrick stayed.
"What's going on?" I asked Ace as he walked up and kissed my lips.
