The Rejected Alpha Wolf

Chapter THIRTEEN-FAMILY REUNION

Chloe POV

I called my Mother every fifteen minutes to check on my Dad since my brother got mad and threw his phone over Jennifer.

"I can't believe Blake would hurt my Dad," I started to sob as Carlito held me in his arms.

"Everything will be okay, baby," Carlito purred in my ear as my tears flowed.

"Your Dad is alive, thank the goddess, and they are ten minutes out."

"Alpha Antonio has our best warriors waiting for their arrival at the gate," Carlito assured me.

I nodded and held my mate tighter as his hands gently rubbed my back, and the sparks traveled up my spine. My wolf Callie purred in my head as our mate held us close,

"Are they here yet?" I looked away from Carlito and heard Amber ask as she, Julio, Rachel, and Ace entered the foyer.

I shook my head and wiped my eyes as Rachel and Amber came over to hug me. A few minutes later, the guy's parents walked into the foyer. The Alpha family had extremely intimidating auras. I heard Callie whimper and wanted to bow in their presence.

"Why did I feel the need to bow, Callie?" I asked my wolf as she whimpered.

"Because the Alpha is of royal blood, and the Luna is a white wolf."

"They're pretty much royalty compared to most Alphas and Lunas," Callie said.

My eyes widened as my wolf spoke. I had heard stories about the white wolves but didn't think they were true. I wondered if Ace was a white wolf.

"He is," Callie said as I gasped quietly, and Carlito looked at me.

"They have arrived," Alpha Antonio spoke as we all left the castle and entered four SUVs.

"Callie?" I called to my wolf.

"Yes, Chloe," Callie responded.

"How is Hasin? Is he okay?" I asked her as she let out a soft whimper.

"He's okay. He's fragile and exhausted."

"He healed Dad as much as possible. Luckily, Mom is helping by staying close," I sighed with relief as Callie spoke to me about Dad's condition.

We finally stopped before the gate as Alpha Antonio and Luna Staci stepped out of the first SUV.

"Are you okay, baby?" Carlito asked as he rubbed my arm, and I nodded.

We all stepped out and walked toward the gate as the warrior on duty bowed to the Alpha and Luna.

"Chloe?" I heard my brother's voice.

Roger ran toward me and embraced me. I heard a growl, looked at Carlito, and sneered.

"Babe! He's my brother," I rolled my eyes as Carlito blushed sheepishly and apologized.

"Where are Dad and Mom?" I asked my brother as we finished hugging, and I looked at him.

"In the second truck with the other warriors," my eyes widened.

"Other warriors?" he nodded as I heard Amber say something.

Amber POV

"Daddy?" I looked and saw my Father get out of Roger's truck.

"Pumpkin?" he said as I ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as he sighed.

"Things have become pretty bad at Lotus Shadow."

"Blake completely loses his mind, and worse, he attacks our Beta with the help of Silas," my Dad says as I gasp.

My wolf Angel growled in my head at Alpha Blake's disrespect. He dislikes us lower-ranked members, and I can't understand why. He was once a warrior before becoming an Alpha by being mated to Luna Sarah.

"I couldn't stay in a pack where an Alpha would attack and abuse his pack members because his fated mate rejected him for a good reason," I heard my Father say.

"I'm glad you're safe, Dad," I hugged my Father tighter as I heard Julio growl, and I rolled my eyes.

"Honey, he is my Father. Get a grip" Julio blushed slightly and apologized.

I watched Julio step forward and shake my Father's hand.

"It's nice to meet you, Samuel."

"I'm Julio Oliveira, future Gamma of Blue Eclipse," Julio said as my Dad smiled and shook his hand.

"It's nice to meet you too, Julio."

"I'm glad to see my daughter is happy and well taken care of," he smiled and winked at me.

I looked back at Chloe as she talked to her brother and wondered where her parents were.

Roger POV

I heard a grunt as my Mother and a warrior helped my Father out of his truck.

"Dad! What are you doing? You are not completely healed yet!" I shouted as my Father walked on the crutches with the help of our Mother.

"Daddy..." I heard my sister's soft whimpers as she looked at our Father.

"I'm okay, princess, just a few bruises," he told Chloe as she stood before him, stroking her cheek like he used to do when she was younger.

I felt the most intimidating auras. I looked at the Alpha family and saw Rachel standing beside a tall guy with solid muscles.

"Holy fuck," I thought as Rocky whimpered and felt the need to bow.

"What is with you, wolf?" I asked as he paced and whined more.

"Do you not feel their auras?"

"The Alpha and Luna are strong, but do you feel the younger Alpha's aura," Rocky said. I realized what he meant,

"Geez, it's quite intimidating," I said as everyone walked forward.

Ace POV

When my parents walked over to meet Chloe and Roger's parents, Rachel and I stood behind them as my Dad reached his hand out toward the Beta. I saw his eyes widen as he looked at my Dad and Mom. I let out a light chuckle as Rachel smacked my chest.

"Hey," I whispered as she giggled.

"Beta Harold, it's nice to meet you," my Dad said as everyone started staring, feeling his immense aura.

"My name is Alpha Antonio, and this is my lovely Luna Staci," Dad said as he introduced himself and my Mom.

Beta Harold shook my Dad's hand as best as he could.

"Sorry, Beta Harold."

"Please let us get you, your mate, and the warriors taken care of," my Dad said. His eyes glazed over, and I knew he was mind-linking the pack doctor and setting up cottages for the guests.

"Tristan," my Dad called out as the warrior moved forward.

"Alpha," he bowed. Tristan was the son of Alphons and, like his Dad, was one of our best warriors.

"Help get these warriors settled into the available cottages and bring the trucks into the garage," Tristan bowed as his unit helped the warriors and moved the trucks.

I saw a few more SUVs arrive as Chloe's Mom and Dad got into the first SUV with my parents. Rachel and I rode back with our friends.

Rachel POV

Seeing Chloe's Dad like that gave me the chills. I had no idea my Father would hurt one of his pack members like that.

"As an Alpha, you would think he would be more compassionate and forthcoming like Ace's Dad."

"But he let the power and greed of being an Alpha go to his head," Rayne said, making me sigh.

I looked into his eyes as he gave me a small smile. I smiled back at him and heard sniffles as I looked at Chloe. I hope this didn't change our friendship because Chloe was the only person other than my Mom and Amber who's had my back all these years growing up with a man like my Father.

"I'm sorry about your Dad, Chloe," I reached for her hand and gently squeezed it as Carlito wrapped his arm around her waist.

She shook her head and squeezed my hand back.

"I'm just glad he's alive, Rachel," she gave me a small smile as the SUV stopped in front of the castle.

I sighed with relief, knowing Chloe was still my best friend. We all exited the SUV, and I turned to Amber.

"Are you okay, Amber?" I asked as she nodded while Julio pulled her into his side.

"Just a bit shaken up, but I'm okay, Rachel," she smiled as I smiled back.

Chloe POV

After we arrived back at the castle and everyone had filed out of the SUVs, I walked over to my parents. Alpha Antonio helped my Father out of the SUV, and Luna Staci comforted my Mother. Seeing an Alpha and a Luna show compassion for others, especially abused and mistreated wolves, was a different experience.

"Alpha, Luna," I saw Dr. Thielen bow and approach my Father.

"How is he?" he asked as he examined my Dad. Mom stood by Luna Staci.

"He's holding strong for a Beta who received a vicious beating," Alpha Antonio explained as Dr. Thielen had a nurse bring out a wheelchair.

My Dad slowly sat down, and my Mother walked over and held his hand as everyone walked inside the castle.

"Chloe and Roger can take the elevator with their parents, and we can take the stairs," Alpha Antonio said as my eyes widened.

"There are stairs in this massive castle?" I asked as Alpha Antonio chuckled.

"How else do you expect other omegas to work their floors if the elevator is in use?" he said, and I smiled back.

I walked into the elevator with Carlito at my side. I felt Carlito pull me to his side and kiss my cheek as my brother watched and sighed. I knew he was hurting over Jennifer and wanted to find his mate. I hoped my brother could see his happiness and meet his destined mate.

We finally arrived on the fifth floor. Dr. Theilen and the nurse wheeled my Father out of the elevator and toward the pack hospital. I turned to my left and heard a door open. Everyone walked toward us, and Alpha Antonio and Ace held the doors open.

"So, that's where the stairs are located," I thought as I held Carlito's hand and followed Dr. Theilen.

"Please, everyone, have a seat in the waiting room while I tend to the Beta's injuries," Dr. Theilen told us as he bowed and walked toward the back.

I sighed and went to take a seat next to my Mother while Carlito sat beside me and Roger sat on the other side of our Mom.

"So, this your is your mate, Carlito?" my Mom asked, and I nodded.

"He's very handsome," my Mother smiled as Carlito stuck his hand out to my Mother.

"It's nice to meet you, Sadie," Carlito smiled as my Mother patted his hand softly.

I heard Roger grunt and fold his arms as Mom turned and scowled at him.

"Roger Fredrick Barlow, you will not disrespect or throw a tantrum because your sister found her mate."

"I understand you are hurting because of what you learned about Jennifer, but don't take it out on your sister," Mom growled as Roger looked wide-eyed.

Even though Mom was right, I felt terrible for Roger. He had no reason to be upset with me. I hope he finds his mate soon and becomes my happy big brother again. Roger resembled Dad with his jet-black hair, but we both had Mom's amber-colored eyes. In comparison, I inherited Mom's chocolate brown locks. After waiting for hours, Dr. Theilen appeared from behind the double doors.

"How is he, doctor?" my Mother stepped forward and asked.

"He's fine. I re-stitched his wounds and gave him some medicine for the pain."

"He was fortunate the cuts and bruises weren't intense," I heard my Mother sigh with relief and thank Dr. Theilen as he nodded.

"When can we see him?" I asked as the doctor turned to look at me.

"He will be asleep for the rest of the night, so come back tomorrow."

"Mrs. Barlow, he will need you and your wolf to help him heal, so we will be moving him to a suite so you can stay with him," Dr. Theilen said. My mother nodded and turned to us,

"You kids should rest and come back in the morning when he's awake," I hugged our Mother.

"Can you tell him I will talk to him when he's feeling better in the morning?" Alpha Antonio stepped forward and told my Mother as she bowed.

"Thank you for everything, Alpha Ant..." I watched as he waved his hand.

"Please, just call me Antonio and try to get some rest, okay?"

"You and your family are safe now," I watched as the tears flooded my Mother's eyes, and she nodded at the Alpha.

"We will have some food and a fresh set of clothes brought to your suite," Luna Staci said. My mother nodded as the Alpha and Luna left.

"I'll tell my Mother that you're here, Sadie."

"I'm sure she will want to visit," Rachel said as my Mother hugged her.

I hugged my Mother again and kissed her cheek as we all began to leave the pack hospital. I turned to my brother.

"You can stay on the Beta floor with us."

"Carlito's suite has a lot of rooms," my brother nodded and followed us toward the elevator, where everyone else waited.

I heard Callie whimper in my head as my family was safe, but the only thing that bothered me was the next step in dealing with Blake and Silas.
