The rebirth of a new Luna by Alexia Morgan

Chapter 31

Chapter 35

Nadia felt uncomfortable talking about their private life together. It was suppose to be between him and his beloved mate and not her. It felt really awkward talking about matters of the heart like this. It wasn’t even as though she was being there as a third party. She was being the first hand person in this matter. She took a deep breath and decided to relax her nerves. Besides, it wasn’t her fault she was in this b*dy. The moon goddess would definitely forgive her.

“What did you discover that night?” She said to him as she reached for a glass of water. Her throat was suddenly becoming dry. She had to gulp down some liquid. Vance immediately got up as he ran over to the kitchen. He grabbed a cup and some lemon inside it and then ran back to her.

“Here, take this instead. If I remember correctly, you use to like lemon water. You never liked bare water. Have this one instead” he said as he hurriedly gave it to her. Nadia accepted it with thanks as she slowly lifted it up and placed the lid on her l*ps. She poured the lemon water into her mouth as she turned to look at him with wide eyes. Lemon water wasn’t so bad. It was something she had never tried before and to be honest, it felt better than normal water. She had wanted to ask him what this goodness was but she immediately remembered that she could not ask that. She was Iris and Iris liked lemon water. She instead nodded her head and dropped the cup down.

“Maybe we could continue on what you were saying. Tell me again what it is that discovered” she cleared her throat and then remembered, “Thank you for the water. It’s been a while since I had lemon water. I was almost flustered. Thank you so much for it.” She said with a smile.

Vance smiled too. He nodded as he sighed heavily before he continued.

“Someone told me you were dead for real and I started to believe it but what stopped me was that I had not seen your b*dy. If I had seen your b*dy, I probably would have given up hope but because

I had not seen your b*dy, I still had a little bit of hope. So one day, I came back home here and saw someone” Vance said to her with a look she didn’t understand. He sniffed as wiped his face and stood up. He walked out of the room and then came back with a note.

It seemed like it had been torn out of a book recently. I looked to his face as I waited for an explanation but he didn’t say anything, he just handed me the note. I gently collected it from him and then brought it closer to my eyes to read it. He must have noticed as he asked me if something was wrong with my eyes. He said I was someone who use to see before but how was it that now, I could not see until I brought it so close to my face.

As Nadia, one of my problem was that my vision was not as clear and bright as the others. I had crappy eye sight, even as a werewolf that I was.

Everyone used to tease me about it and it always annoyed me. I paused for a while as I tried to stare at the paper form afar. I gasped. I could actually see it well.

“That’s a relief!” I said to myself. My words attracted my mates attention as he asked me why but I

hook my head and muttered a ‘nothing to him. I smiled but deep down, I felt like dancing. I could finally see well. But then I thought about something. I couldn’t see the first time, was it truly that I couldn’t see or had I always been that way to my former self, believing I could barely see before actually stretching the paper a little further.

Nadia was deep in her thought when her mate gently touched her side.

“Honey, are you going to have a look at the paper or should I read it out for you?” He said politely. Nadia cake back to her senses with those words as she remembered they were actually in the middle of something serious. She nodded as she moved her head to the face the paper. It was a little squeezed and so she straightened it. She blew on it softly and then started to read from it.

It read in an unfamiliar handwriting. I will be away for a while. I need some time to clear my head. You don’t need to worry about me. Just take care of our child and rest. well. When I come back. I will resume my duties as a good Luna and great wife and mother to you, and my child, Grant me this little time of solitude.

the my dearest alpha. I beg of you. Thank you very much that was the end. Nadia read it feeling a little tacky. As a person, she would never leave such a note for her mate, but she could not be the judge of anyone. She wasn’t there and so, she didn’t know what had happened. Besides, if she was to pick, she would pick the tacky Vance, compared to her real mate,

Lucian.

Naira smiled as she dropped the paper on the table and folded her arms. Everything was getting a little complicated but she still needed to maintain her cool. She bit on her l*p as she used her fingers to tap on her skin. She waited for some seconds to pass before she finally looked up to him and then asked, “I left this, would i? Is there something I caught you doing wrong exactly?”

Vance swallowed hard and then answered as he dropped his head down, “Yes. You caught me with her”
