Chapter Chapter Fifteen
Walking into my new room, I sigh. I felt hollow inside. The room was dark until Jared flipped the light switch. The walls were a dark purple and the carpet was black. The bed was black mahogany, the mattress was memory foam, the sheets and pillow cases were white and the comforter was the same as the walls. I sat down on the bed and kicked off my black flats. Jared came over and stood in front of me.
“You’re going to be okay.” He said.
I leaned against him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his face in the crook of my neck. I sighed and closed my eyes. I felt him pull away and I opened my eyes again.
“Get some rest love. Morning comes early.” He said walking towards the door.
I groaned and lay back on the bed. He smiled and left. This was going to be a long two months...
1 month and a half later....
“Come on concentrate. You can do this Lou.” Jared said standing at least twenty feet behind me.
I glanced back at him then back to the course. I took a deep breath then hit the clock. I sped off as fast as I could and jumped over the twenty foot block, then dived straight into the pond and swam through the tunnels, trying to find my way to the other side. I emerged in record time and ran out of the water. I jumped over the 40 foot gap in the ground, then force pushed the blocks out of my way. I used my force pushed and propelled myself into the air to grab the flag at the top of the 30 foot tower. Then landed softly and sped through the mud pit and hit the clock. Jared was waiting for me and smiled.
“That was great, but did you really have to go through the mud pit? Usually you just jump over it.” He said.
“You should know by now, I have a reason behind every action.” I said and smiled back at him.
His eyes grew wide and he took off running towards the house. I laughed and ran after him, easily catching him and giving him a hug. He groaned and cursed as we fell into the mud pit. Then I teleported to the house without him. I just laughed when I looked outside and saw him pull himself out of the pit. I shook my head and hopped into the shower.
I couldn’t wait to go back home. I had been here for almost two months. I had complete control of my abilities and I was confident that I could stay in control. I was anxious and I couldn’t stop thinking about Nate. I missed him so much. I hurried with my shower and turned off the water. I grabbed a towel nd stepped back into my room.
There was a knock on my door.
“Yes?”
“Hurry up and get dressed, I have a surprise for you.” Jared said through the door.
I smiled and hurriedly dressed. I threw on a light blue t-shirt and black short shorts. I braided my wet hair and slipped a pair of white socked on. I threw the towel into the hamper and left my room. A familiar smell hit me as soon as I opened my door and I ran to the living room. I stopped in the doorway and froze.
There standing, waiting for me, was Nate. I gasped and ran to him. I jumped into his arms and he hugged me tightly.
“Oh my God, I missed you sooooooo much!” I squealed.
He chuckled. “I missed you too.”
I pulled away from him and he set me down. He looked a little tired, but other than that, he looked like the same old Nate. I was wearing a white t-shirt under a blue unbuttoned shirt with blue jeans. He pulled me back and kissed me on my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He bit my lip causing me to gasp. He let his tongue in and I let him explore my mouth. I moaned, then reality struck.
I pulled away. He looked lost and shocked. “Where is Jared?”
“He left, and said he’d be back some time tomorrow.” Nate said smirking.
I smiled and kissed him again. Slowly we made our way up to my room and had the rest of the night to ourselves.
