The Paragon Antaris - a secret World of magic #2

Chapter 18

I was the master of my aura and fully aware of my powers as I brought the aura under control and assumed my original form. I got up from my knees and saw my parents and friends staring at me without saying anything, only my mate ran into my arms and kissed me, relieved that this torture was over for her too.

Everyone else stood and bowed their heads to me, knowing full well of my powers and the presence of the Father of all beings, which had been clearly felt until recently.

My parents looked at the floor with their heads bowed and I looked at them.

“Father,” I said, but he continued to look at the ground. "Father!" it sounded again and he looked up at me.

“I have a lot to explain to you,” I said, smiling at him.

"I'll call everyone and gather the War Council," Father said quietly.

I nodded and turned to thank Vaell, but his head was still bowed.

“Vaell,” I called him and put my hand on his shoulder and he slowly raised his eyes.

“Stop this nonsense, brother,” I said smiling and he looked at me respectfully and smiled back. I took him in my arms, grateful that he was by my side as always, taking care of me as he had done all his life since childhood.

Evelyn and my parents as well as Uncle Aidan and my sister were there when we arrived. Anak and Jacob were there too, so we waited for the rest of my father's War Council, which consisted of his close friends as well as Aunt Ava and Uncle Bael.

Everyone was still staring at me and when we were finally all together, I was able to share what I had just received from the Father of all beings.

They all sat down when I asked them to and I started talking, aware that everything they would hear would be a huge shock for them.

“I am the first and the only one of my kind. I am a gift from the Father to all good beings. I am the last being of all kinds created by him.

Since my birth, I possess the full power of all the gifts our Father ever gave and that was always used by a being that came from him, no matter what form it took, as long as it was good. My aura is the mixture of all the auras that good beings have. I have angel blood and demon blood in me, the perfect half of both that makes me who I am.

I am the chosen one. The peace bringer. The Destroyer of Darkness,” I said, looking at their surprised faces.

I turned to Innia and said, “When I was born, the Father of all beings came to me and hid my gift. To protect me, he hid my gifts from myself and I thought until now I was being punished. But he did it to protect me from attacks from the darkness and to prepare me for the prophecy. When Innia was kidnapped, he had to act and for all of our safety it was decided that my gift would remain hidden until today. Touched by his protective hand, my hair remained ash blonde, protected from any magic to see my thoughts and dreams. Only Innia could do that,” I continued.

“All the years that you prayed to the Father of all beings, he was with you and answered all your prayers. He saw all the sacrifices you made out of love and understood that the only way to lure you on the right path to me was to take your mother and save her from pain. Your mother, who had been tormented by Abbadon for a long time... He took her soul to himself as a pardoned person who is now free and happy... He gave you a piece of her as a sign of his love for you, when he gave the child who was miraculously stillborn a live and a part of your mother's soul remained with her... Nyllis. When you were safe, he let you heal and brought you and me together to strengthen your soul as a perfect being and to fade all wounds. This was destined for us from the beginning, but Abbadon intervened and so everything changed. But in the end, he defeated his plan and the prophecy was saved and can be fulfilled," I said as I looked at my crying mate who reacted deeply emotionally to everything.

"Father knew that we will look for answers in my dreams and he prepared Michael, who waited for us according to his command to tell you that the prophecy is in my dream. He was already waiting for us," I added.

Everyone sat in front of me with surprised faces and open mouths still processing what they heard.

"What do we have to do? What is your mission?" Devias asked quietly.

"We must find the first blade and kill Abbadon, the last ally of darkness that can free him," I announced.

Father and Mother looked at each other in disbelief and Evelyn looked at me questioningly.

“How are we supposed to find it?” Evelyn asked as she looked at Devias.

“The first blade? “Like in Cain’s Blade?” Innia asked and everyone looked at her, impressed.

“The Father banished the darkness to a place where it could do no more harm. And he created a mark that was both the lock and the key to it. This mark was so powerful that it could kill anything, even the darkness itself. The Father gave the mark to his most loyal aide who betrayed him, and the mark was burned into a damned soul by the traitor. It has been passed down through generations and has been on the earth for eternity of World. The Mark developed a will of its own and became the source of power for the first blade, capable of destroying anything even darkness itself. The Mark can only be transferred to beings if they are equal to the Mark. If the Mark is removed without permission of it, the darkness will be released from its prison. That's why they try to kill the carrier." Anak explained as he looked at Innia.

"The Mark..." Innia started to say, but when she looked into my eyes, she knew the answer.

"What looks like a feather to others is clearly visible only to me. I am the mark's equal, and that is why I now see its true form. You wear the Mark, Innia, so I can use it. You are not only a prophet, you carried the mark with you," I said.

She stared at me as if she was seeing me for the first time. "And the first blade?" Devas asked, breaking our stare.

"The last bearer of the blade threw it into the depths of the Human Seas. To date, it has not been found. So we will have to look for it," I announced, and Devas looked at father.

"It's not exactly a small pond that we have to search," Devas said tensely.

"I know," I answered. "But this is the prophecy and the only way to protect the light and the good beings and to banish the darkness for all time," I announced confidently.

"Breathing under human water is not a problem for any of us. We will have to get ready and divide into groups to search the seas piece by piece. But this could still take a long time," Father announced as he looked at me.

"We have no choice," I answered him, and he was aware that it was so.

"We will discuss everything tonight and prepare armies to begin searching tomorrow morning," Uncle Aidan said, and I nodded confidently at his suggestion.

The war council started making plans, and I retreated to the next room with Innia, accompanied by my friends and mother. I looked out the window that no longer had any glass, and with a wave of my hand, I repaired it.

"You'll still have a lot of windows to repair," my mother said quietly.

I looked at her as she stood next to me and smiled. My fear was that they would be afraid of me or see me differently now that everything was known. But the initial shock was over, and they gradually relaxed.

"Does Abbadon know about the prophecy?" Vaell asked.

"He doesn't know about me, and he doesn't know about the mark on Innia. He can't see it like I can. She had it all the time it was in front of him, but he is not equal to it...Although he too is looking for the first blade since the last war on Antaris, he prepared an army looking for it. The inhumans that could walk through water. We will have to be careful," I said to him, and he nodded.

Still clearly impressed by what he had seen, Vaell told everyone who was present about what he had experienced in my dream and the meeting with the father of all beings. I leaned back and held Innia in my arms, who now gave me more comfort than ever before, and we listened to Vaell.

He captivated everyone who listened to him with astonished faces at his story. I heard them laugh and gasp in amazement and looked at all their bound faces.

Innia turned to me and smiled at me. I felt her great love for me and gave her a kiss. She would never see me differently; she would never be afraid of me and she could never stop loving me.

"I love you even though you're weird," she said, laughing.

"I love you too, even though you're weird too," I replied, and she kissed me happily, laughing into the kiss.

As I watched them all, I knew that our love and friendship were so strong that we could do anything. It will be difficult, and we will have to risk and sacrifice a lot, but it will be the only way to fulfill the word of the Father of all beings.

After everything I experienced, I knew I had no choice - it was destined for me. I am the Paragon of good, and I will kill Abbadon.
