The Mystical White Wolf

Chapter TWENTYFOUR-THE BAD NEWS

Antonio POV

As Staci and I arrived in the garden, I noticed all the other Alphas and Betas except for two. The young Alpha and Beta from the Blood Moon pack were missing. My gut told me something was off with those two, and now they're missing.

"Where's the Alpha and Beta of the Blood Moon pack?" I growled, and all eyes looked in our direction.

"They were behind us," Alpha Miles said as I growled and quickly linked Carter.

"Find the Alpha and Beta of the Blood Moon pack, now!" I roared through the link.

"Yes, Alpha!" Carter quickly replied as I paced the pathway of the garden.

"Something tells me those two were hiding something," Magnus says, drawing attention to himself.

I looked over at Staci and noticed she was deep in her thoughts. Back in the meeting, I would see the sneak glances the young Alpha was giving Staci as if he knew something about her. That made Ares growl as I tried to control my wolf.

"They're gone," Carter linked me as my eyes widened.

"What do you mean gone!" I shouted through the link.

"The SUVs and warriors they came with are gone. Left the territory," Carter said as I growled.

"Is something wrong?" Carter asked in the link as Ares was fighting me.

"I'll explain later. Find out where their pack is," I said, closing the link.

I grabbed Staci's hand and led her to the table, and we both sat to eat lunch. My stomach rumbled with hunger, and I could hear Staci's belly doing the same thing.

Staci and I ate lunch quietly as the chatter continued among the other Alphas and Betas. My mind was sparling with what the hell was going on with the new Alpha and Beta. Furthermore, where was their pack located? I've never heard of the Blood Moon pack, and I've been the Alpha for four years.

"Antonio?" I heard Miles call my name as I looked in his direction.

"How are things going with the old River Valley pack?" Miles asked.

River Valley was a small pack between us before Miles, and I took over our positions from our Fathers as Alphas. River Valley was supposedly attacked by rogues for its land and businesses. River Valley wasn't wealthy like Blue Eclipse and Dark Moon, but it was well off and prospered.

"Things are going well. My superintendent informs me the land is ready for building," I tell Miles as he nods.

I planned on building a bed and breakfast on the land. Before I bought the land from the bank that took it over, there was a dispute for the land, but the other buyer ran into financial trouble and couldn't support the payments. Miles didn't want the extra headache of keeping up with the land, so I took ownership.

"I'm glad you took over the ownership. I have enough gone on with the restaurants and publishing businesses," Miles chuckles.

Dark Moon was in the publishing business and owned a food chain called Alibaba. Miles's Mother is from Vlorë, Albania, so Miles's Father started the restaurant chain for his wife in honor of her heritage.

"Alpha?" Carter linked me as I was about to put a fork full of curry fish into my mouth.

"Carter?" I linked back.

"There isn't mention of a Blood Moon pack anywhere on the pack databases."

"I called Elder Thomas to confirm, and he said he's never heard of such a pack," Carter said as I growled.

"What the fuck is going on?" I thought and felt Staci grab my hand.

"Antonio?" Staci called my name as I looked at her.

I quickly stood up to address the other Alphas and Betas.

"Sorry for the interruption. But something has come up and needs my attention."

"Let's call for the votes over a phone conference in two days," I say, grabbing Staci's hand.

"Anything we can do to help?" Alpha Drake asked.

"Find out who the hell that Alpha was and where the hell Blood Moon is located," I said as the other Alphas and Betas looked at me confused.

"Blood Moon? Who the hell is that?" Alpha Wayne asked.

"That's what I'm trying to find out," I say.

"My Gamma will see that you're all escorted back to your SUVs," I say, leaving the garden with Staci and Magnus behind me.

Blood Moon Pack:

Conrad POV

I was reviewing recent paperwork at my desk when my office door burst open. I looked up as my son walked inside and sat before my desk.

"Father," Jr said as I growled for being interrupted.

"This is still my office, boy! Learn to knock!" I watched as he scoffed at me.

"I brought news of the Blue Eclipse pack, Father," I stared at my son.

"Well, out with it, boy," I roared and watched a smirk form on his face.

"Well, Father, I meet Alpha Antonio."

"I don't think he knows who I am, honestly, and that's good for us, but..." he started to say, and I growled slightly.

"Father, that pack is like a fortress and strong as ever," Jr said.

"I know that already, boy. Why do you think I have been sitting here going over plans and ways to take down that pack!" I snarled.

"Father..." I looked at my son as he started to speak.

"You don't understand. I met Alpha Antonio's Luna; her aura made my wolf cower. I don't understand, and I'm an Alpha," Jr said.

"What the fuck?" I thought as I looked at him.

"Ricardo and Alicia are back at Blue Eclipse," I heard him say.

My eyes widened as Colton started howling and pacing in my head.

"Mate is back. We must claim what is ours!" he roared.

Even though Olivia and Orchid were our fated mates, Colton and I still lusted after Alicia after all these years; she was ours. My smile widened as Conrad Jr waited for my response.

"That's great news, son. What else?" I said and looked at him.

"We couldn't get their patrol schedules, but when King Magnus showed his face, I knew it was time for us to leave," Jr said, widening my eyes.

"Damn it!" I yelled and rubbed my temples in frustration.

"Abaddon is not going to be happy about this," I watched as my son stared at me.

"Why do we even need the vampire's help?"

"Let's attack and take over their pack, Father," My son said, and I looked at him.

"We can't just attack, son. They have something that King Abaddon wants."

"I don't think he would take it too kindly if we killed everyone," I said and huffed at my son's arrogance.

"He gets that from you," Coltan says and grunts.

"He wants Alpha Antonio's Luna, right?" he asked, and I nodded.

"Well, I hate to be the barer of bad news, Father, but the Luna is expecting his pup," my son said, and I slammed my fist on the desk.

"Fuck!" I snarled.

"Abaddon is going to be pissed now," I thought and ran my fingers through my hair.

It was terrible enough King Magnus showed up to the meeting. Now, the news of the Luna expecting Alpha Antonio's pup was the worst. We are in deep shit now. I had to think of a way to break this news to Abaddon without him destroying my pack or ripping my head off.

"Did the other Alphas or Alpha Antonio suspect anything?" my son shook his head. That didn't ease my frustration.

"We had better be prepared, just in case," I told my son as he nodded and left my office.

Years ago, I destroyed the River Valley pack because I wanted their land and businesses for my own. Their pack was small, but if combined with mine, I could've attacked Blue Eclipse and taken Alicia as my Luna while Ricardo bled on the ground.

Being mated to Beta Hanson's daughter didn't benefit me, so I had to take matters into my own hands. Olivia never knew what happened to her old pack, only that rogues attacked and killed everyone, including her family. She never suspected it was me.

I sighed and furrowed my brows as I picked up the phone and dialed Abaddon's private line.

"Here we go," I thought as the line ranged a few times before I heard the voice of Satan himself.

Abaddon POV

I had just finished feeding on my latest victim, a pretty little blonde female, but I've had enough problems with women lately. Sorina was still ignoring me and refused to sleep in the same bed as me.

I rolled my eyes and scoffed. Sorina had better get with the program because my new bride would be her Queen in less than a few weeks, and she would be my mistress. As I was wiping my mouth, there was a knock at my door.

"What is it?!" I roared. I hated being disturbed during my feeding hours.

"Master, you have a phone call," I heard Dolus's voice and growled in frustration. I walked over to the door and threw it open.

"People love disturbing me during my quiet time!" I roared as Dolus just stood there.

I walked toward the office where I was using the phone and picked up the phone as Dolus stood by the door.

"What?!" I yelled into the phone.

"King Abaddon, it's Alpha Conrad," I sighed in frustration.

"You better have a good reason for calling me mutt," I growled into the phone. I heard a snarl and scoffed.

"Well?" I asked and waited.

"I have some pressing news about the Luna of Blue Eclipse," Conrad said.

"Get to it then!" I roared.

"It seems that the Luna is expecting a pup," Conrad said, and my eyes glowed red.

"She's What?!"

"She's Mine! I will have my white wolf, and that pup in her belly will no longer exist!"

"I will slaughter their entire pack. She is no Luna but my Queen!" I heard Conrad sigh in frustration.

"Don't do anything rash to get yourself killed," Conrad said.

"I will be there soon! Be expecting my arrival, Alpha Conrad!" I spat with venom and slammed the phone on the receiver.

"Dolus!" I yelled.

"Get the SUV ready. We are going to Blood Moon."

"It seems these fucking mutts can't do a damn thing right!" I said as he nodded.

"Yes, Master," Dolus said and walked downstairs.

I returned to my room dressed in simple dress slacks and a blood-red button-up shirt. I exited the bedroom and walked downstairs. I noticed Sorina sitting on the couch watching TV.

"We will return shortly," I said as Sorina shrugged her shoulders and continued watching her show.

I scoffed and walked out of the house. The drive to the Blood Moon territory was short, but my patience was even shorter. I was tired of waiting for these filthy mutts to destroy the Blue Eclipse pack.

King Abaddon

He's a lot older than he looks. Abaddon is centuries old.
